One I had foot surgery, I was forced to come to terms with the fact that I would be wearing athletic/comfort sandals in lieu of my platforms or wedges...but that isn't that relevant for my review. However, what is relevant is the fact that they are really comfortable & are designed to blend right in without calling too much attention to the fact that they're comfort-shoes & not intended to walk the runway! Overall I loved them right out of the box -- and I plan to wear them more and more over time, slowly upping the time since I have to keep in mind that I've worn mainly Nike cross trainers ever since I started walking after surgery. I love these sandals' Velcro, but keep in mind there are limitations to customer's ability to adjust the size. I'm usually size 6.5 but I'm very thin with tiny ankles & bony feet --- though I'm not really a "narrow" width, I need straps that can hold my foot tightly to shoe's footbed. This shoe just fits but if I were a touch smaller I'd have issues getting it sized correctly. The length is perfectly true to size & average feet should have zero issues adjusting Velcro straps. I'd highly recommend these. They're comfortable shoes that seem to be made very well. If they work out in the long term, u will surely be back for more!

perfectly comfortable walking sandal - easily adjusts, even the heel, especially if you have a narrow foot - fit is great for me. I am usually a 9 narrow and bought a 39 - perfect and I love the color - atmosphere white/black.Has very comfortable arch support

Keeper for sure! Wow! Good styling, good comfort, and good quality. A similar version, Cheja which I ordered in beige at the same time, does not have the refined style. The increased comfort in the Yucatan is apparent. Treat yourself and spend the extra $30.00 for this super shoe!

I read all the reviews. Here's my thoughts: the sandal was perfectly sized for me, but the best part was that I recently wore them all over Montreal. We must have walked at least 5-7 miles a day. They were outstanding! I tried to wear a pair of my Jambus, but these Eccos were what I changed back into. Thanks Zappos, for your kind service.

I looked for sandals like these to replace my favorite old pair for a long time and was very happy to find them. One of the things I like about the styling is the black colored foot bed in the sandal, I've had other sandals with lighter foot beds and they always end up looking grungy and dirty even after washing them, so I think the black is a great idea. Also, I have narrow feet and these sandals fit me great, especially across the toe area. I love the fact that all the straps are adjustable, it makes them easy to customize the fit. They're expensive IMO for casual sandals, but I could not find any others that came close to the style I wanted, so I took the chance and ordered them. I'm glad I did. If you have wide feet, I'd try them on before buying, the toe area adjustment is not completely open, it's a limited adjustment that might not be enough. The straps are soft and don't rub, the soles are very substantial and comfortable to walk on, overall I like these enough to order a second pair as a backup in case they decide to discontinue them, even at this price.

I REALLY wanted these to work. They are a great sandal with very nice support. Ordered originally in a 40 which felt great on my feet but was too long and extended too far in front - looked like I was wearing my mom's shoes. The 39 fits better from that perspective, but on my left foot, the rise of the arch is just in the wrong spot for my foot and is aggravating plantar fasciitis. So I have to send them back. Darn. I still think they are 5 stars shoes.

I've bought this sandal year after year, it's that great. It's quite substantial, and the only reason I need to replace it yearly is I walk the dogs 40 miles/week and am very hard on shoes, replace them often due to foot problems. (Any wonder, right?) This sandal has a soft stretch strap under the toe strap. while it doesn't show easily in the photos (it's black), it creates a complete and soft barrier between your skin and the toe strap, so you won't create a blister. I haven't found any other sandals like that. The entire sandal is totally comfortable, and most shoes are not comfortable for me.

I've resisted buying sandals like this since they look so technical and stiff. However, my beloved flippies were becoming painful to wear. I realized I needed more support, and turned to ECCO. I read the 5-star reviews for these sandals, yet, after a five-month winter spent wearing thick socks, I worried my tender feet would be cut up by all of the straps. Well, I LOVE THESE SANDALS! Just like others who have written reviews, I wore these right out of the box. No harsh edges, no stiffness, no sore spots. Fantastic support, supple sole, very comfortable straps (sort of a soft neoprene against your skin) and kind of geeky cute. I normally wear size 8.5 or 9, and chose size 40. Color: Atmosphere/ Ice White/ Black. Perfection.

ordered this shoe in red also and am keeping the red. Very comfy.

Comfy and ready to go right out of the box. Good arch support and three adjustable straps make this a keeper. Love the red!

These are the best sandals I have ever had. They really can take the place of my tennis shoes for walking and really keep my ankles stable. Great arch support and so comfortable. I love them.

These shoes are crazy comfortable and way cuter than they look on line. I do lots of walking in hot weather, and these shoes are the best. Just buy them ;-)

These fit true to size and are so comfortable. I was skeptical that they would be worth the price, but now I am a believer! I am ordering another pair immediately!

I have foot issues and need supportive shoes! It's not easy to find sandals that give me support. These do! They're nice looking, comfortable, and fit my narrow feet due to the straps that are adjustable. I did want to get the pastel multi-colored pair but they were no longer available in my size. I bought the Biscaya model and I do like the color.

I have worn Teva sandals literally for years. I backpacked Yosemite in them when my boots broke. Over the years, Teva has changed the style and materials and the last pair I got the insole? part wore through before the sandals were hardly worn themselves. Disappointed, I tried the Ecco sandal and I'm THRILLED. As far as I'm concerned it's worth the extra $$ for the different and more comfortable foot bed, the contoured shape that supports your arch. They're incredibly comfortable and sturdy. I like the two tone leather, it's a bit more stylish where the Tevas are very utilitarian (which I liked, but just say'in). The concept for the Ecco sandal is almost identical to the Teva, but they've just done a better job. Try the Ecco, you'll love them.

Love these sandals! Need orthotics but these are only sandals that I found with great support and style.

The most comfortable sandal I've ever owned !!

I bought these for my honeymoon. They fit well and are comfortable to walk around in all day. True to size and they fit my slightly wide feet fine. They are well made. The only thing that is odd is that the lining of the straps can sometimes flip over when putting them on, which is uncomfortable if you don't notice it right away, but easy to fix.

I ordered the Ecco Yucatan Sandal for upcoming trip. First ordered the 38 after trying on in store but they felt too big. Although I wear a 7 in us size I offered the 37 which I always in European. Just received them today so will wear fo a few days to see if this size is a better fit. Zappos is the best place to order easy return n great customer service, plus next day delivery is great. So thank you Zappos.

Fabulous color, super comfortable and light weight. I'm thinking about ordering in another color!

I reviewed previously but forgot to say that after reading previous reviews I had ordered a half size bigger than I normally wear and that size is perfect.

A little clunky looking but extremely comfortable and I have problem feet. I did decide I would like another color better and can't wait to get it.

I used to have high arches but over the past couple of years the bones in my feet shifted and my arches are flat. Consequently, I need to wear $300 inserts and it is hard to find shoes that work for me. I needed to find a sandal I could wear without my inserts. I tried several brands (thanks to Zappos' superlative service) prior to this style. These work. The arch support is just right. They are comfortable. I'm thrilled to have a pair of sandals that my problem feet can tolerate. My daughter recommended them. She swears by them and does not wear any other brand. Ecco is a solid shoe, and will hold up to a lot of wearing.

Very cute sandal. Color tends toward the rust-side rather than bright red. Good solid sole that provides a lot of padding and protection for foot. Very quick to break in because there are three adjustable straps. True to size. This is a nice shoe and I know I will get a lot of use out of it.
