Overall these were comfortable but I felt like they were seriously lacking in arch support. Even my good foot started to hurt from the lack of arch support. I'll be returning these.

The left one fit perfect and was very comfortable. The right one was too small and wasn't straight on my foot as I walked, no matter which way I adjusted it. I think there might be a manufacturing flaw in the right one because I've never had that issue before. If not for the wonky right shoe, I would give five stars.

Super comfy for my difficult-to-fit feet (bunions at big & small toes, swelling/tenderness at the tops of both feet, narrow heels, fibromyalgia causes extreme pain in enclosed shoes when they get sweaty). These sandals are as cushy and supportive as running shoes, but with the breathability of sandals. I go on 4-5 mile walks a few times a week, but can't wear enclosed running shoes in summer. I was afraid I'd have to curtail my walks until the fall, but then I remembered owning a pair of Ecco sports sandals years ago when my foot pain was at its worst. Back then, those sandals were the only reason I could walk at all. So I bought another pair, and they are exactly what I needed. I had to take the time to adjust all three straps to fit my feet. Until I put the straps across the toes as loose as they could go, they were too painful to wear for more than a few minutes. The minute I made that adjustment, it was as though I was wearing different shoes entirely. Went for a mile-long walk immediately, with no pain. I wanted more arch support, so I put peel-and-stick arch pads in them. That did the trick. I love these shoes. When I buy another pair, I may go up one size in order to accommodate my bunions better.

Absolutely loved the color combination of these sandals but they ran narrow in the forefoot. If I left the leather strap "un-velcroed" the stretchy material was comfortable. But when I fastened the strap it became tight on the side of my big toe and was very uncomfortable. Fastening the strap partially allowed the velcro to be exposed which didn't look aesthetically pleasing. So sad that I will have to return these.

The width in the front over the toes is too narrow and cannot be adjusted wider. Disappointed since my old Ycatans were much more roomier in the tow area.

I loved these right out the box. Feet feel stable...very comfortable..Happy feet!

Disappointed. I have other Ecco shoes. for a 9-9.5 (40) these are small and are lacking in the arch support and cushion of a similar pair of these sandals that I have. I will have to exchange them for another style in hopes of more cushion and support.

I wear this sandal all the time. I have them in all colors. Was very excited to see the new colors they had this spring. Would love to see them in hot pink. I’ve had 2 foot surgeries and these sandals are the best for me.

I like the fact that there are 3 velcro straps to make adjustments with. I have problems with my one foot due to several surgeries, so having the option to make the strap adjustments (to either tighten or loosen) is nice, especially if the weather is causing any swelling because of the temperature. The foot bed is comfortable but, would like it to be a bit softer, like the Clarkes Cloud Stepper foot bed..... It's not a feminine shoe but, I was looking more for comfort than style!!.. I ordered the gray color, which is actually bit softer of a color than the picture on-line....Sandal looks nice with levi's or shorts:)

I was hoping to exercise in these over the summer. Sadly, they give me blisters on the bottoms of my feet. And, of course, I couldn't tell this would happen till I'd worn them outside on a walk. So they are mine to keep now. I will get some wear out of them - but not as I had hoped to use them. If you have tough skin, they might work fine for you. But if your tootsies are tender like mine, look elsewhere.

These are very well constructed, with excellent support. The fact that you can adjust them in three places makes them a fabulous choice. My only complaint is where the strap hits the bunion area. I'm hoping to get used to it, but I wish it wasn't so confined there. Otherwise, these are beautiful and supportive.

These are the most comfortable sandals on the planet. I use them exclusively for walking, and I walked miles in my last pair every day for many years. They finally had had enough, and imagine my delight when I found the same style! Why mess with something perfect? They're not out to win any fashion awards, but they should win an award for the best walking sandal ever! I love them, and thank you, Ecco, for not messing with perfection.

I've had this sandal in the past and in fact this pair replaces an old pair. Love them, they are so comfortable!

I ordered my normal size, 6.5M, and it fit fine. The strap at the ankle, though adjustable, is too wide. It comes up on my ankle and it shouldn't. That makes my ankle swell. The toe strap and design of the shoe is better than most of this athletic sandal style. But that ankle strap is the show stopper for me. Returning today.

I always have a little trouble with sizes, since my best size is 10.5 a rarely offered option. With this shoe, 10 was a wee bit short, and 11 is a bit too long but better, so went with the11-11.5. Very adjustable, which is good for narrow feet. Ecco are almost always good quality, and this seems so as well. Would be nice I’d insole were a little softer, but material cover much nicer on bare feet than Keen, which I’ve worn for summer walking instead of tennis shoes. I would prefer specific sizes rather than covering a size plus half size in each of their sizing. Hence, four stars.

I have ordered over 10 pairs of these sandals - they are the only shoe that works for me. I wear them everyday and they last me about six months. This pair I am returning because Ecco change some of the sandals to have white on the side which I do not like.

I have been buying these sandals for years and have never been disappointed in them, buying them from Zappos is a real plus as they shipped them very fast.

As always, it’s difficult to “combine sizes” and find a really good fit. Tho my best size, 10.5, is rarely available in most manufacturing, Ecco has chosen to offer a 10/10.5 as one size, which was on the wee bit too short side, whereas 11/11.5 makes a significant jump in length. For this expensive a walking sandal, I think the consumer should be offered specific sizes, as we pursue quality such as Ecco brands and are willing to pay the price, IF they are willing to offer adequate sizing. Had to return.

I had a pair of these that I wore long after they should have been retired. I put them on recently and the sole fell off...but realizing that I purchased them for a trip in 2007, I'd have to say they held up well! Deciding on the color was not easy, may have to splurge for another!

great casual sandal.

This sandal is absolutely perfect! Fits true to size and have very good arch support. Light weighted and stylish I wear sz 9 , and some brands- 9.5. Bought this one is 9 and fits perfect!

Fit and size was just fine. The materials and structure of the sandal were brutal on my feet and entire body at the end of the day. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that these lovely Ecco sandals would make me so miserable. My first day wearing them I thought that just maybe I was having a bad day. Sadly, after wearing them only four times total, I knew I made a big mistake buying them.

I wore these sandals (my second pair) right out of the box on vacation with no problems. Love all the straps for adjusting, especially the one around the heel.

I presently have two pair of the Yucatan sandals and love them. Unfortunately, a few days after ordering two in new colors I encountered a problem...severe plantar fasciitis that required two cortisone shots. As much, as I really like the new colors I have to return them. My podiatrist has suggested I not wear them. Thank you Zappos for your superb service!!
