I loved the shoe. However, it runs a full size smaller, therefore I must return it. The are out of the next size, so I signed up to be notified when they get my size in.

I love the color of these sandals, in fact, ordered this model vs the Yucatan Sport because of the color. It is very uncomfortable to walk any distance, even a mile. I'm very disappointed, had planned to have it as my walking sandal in Europe this summer.

Not make like they used be. I have bought 5 pairs of this sandal throughout the years. They have areas now that rub and the sole is so hard, it's not fun to walk in. I'm trying to be positive and hoping I can break them in, but I'm not sure if it's going to work.

I have been searching for comfortable shoes after rupturing my achilles twice and also breaking multiple metatarsals on the same side foot. I was desperate to find adjustable, cushioned, sandals and shoes. I ordered these along with two other company choices in my regular size (9) and now wide foot due to the fractures. This was a narrower footbed and the top strap does NOT adjust as shown in photo. They also offered no arch support. I'm grateful to Zappos for offering a great selection, quick delivery and wonderful return service. These sadly went back.

The fit is good; however, they rubbed the side of my right foot. Also I have plantar faciatis so the arch support was not adequate for my needs.

For some reason the sandals seem smaller than they were about 3 years ago. Measured this one to my old one and it is smaller. Had to go a size up.

Right sandal was much too tight over the arch. Probably it's just my feet, but I had a pair of Ecco Yucatans previously (same size) and they fit fine. Had to send these back, much too my regret because they were a very pretty color.

The sole of the sandal is very hard and the back strap falls way too low on the ankle, so it constantly slips off.

I wanted to love these. However, they rub uncomfortably around the toe area, where there is stitching under the neoprene. It looks like the top is adjustable but the neoprene is fixed, and strap can only be used to tighten. I wore them around the house for a few days before venturing outside but the amount of rubbing was not evident until after going on a long walk, so sadly, they are no longer returnable.

I have not had trouble before with size 42. I’m a size 11. These were definitely at least one half size smaller. I thought maybe the shoe is in the wrong box but it is not..,

I was hoping to exercise in these over the summer. Sadly, they give me blisters on the bottoms of my feet. And, of course, I couldn't tell this would happen till I'd worn them outside on a walk. So they are mine to keep now. I will get some wear out of them - but not as I had hoped to use them. If you have tough skin, they might work fine for you. But if your tootsies are tender like mine, look elsewhere.

I have ordered over 10 pairs of these sandals - they are the only shoe that works for me. I wear them everyday and they last me about six months. This pair I am returning because Ecco change some of the sandals to have white on the side which I do not like.

Was disappointed that this sandal didn't offer the support I expected. while it looked like it had good arch support, it was uncomfortable in the metatarsal area. Sadly I'm returning.

I bought my first version of this sandal 6 years ago and spent what I thought was a crazy amount on it then! My version has nubuck straps sewn to a textile lining and a leather insole. They have taken my plantar-prone, pronating feet all over and have been one of my most reliable, supportive sandal. This year, after applying a shoe-goo product to heels that are finally wearing down, I decided to get a back -up pair. I first ordered my normal size 38 style for my 7.5M size foot (a wedge-shape, now flattening foot). Imagine my surprise when the new pair arrived and I found my front toes squashed in the redesigned front straps (the are now wider straps with a contoured, narrower profile). Add to that that there is now no leather insole. So I thought to order a size 39 which Zappos quickly supplied the very next day! Hurray! Length is fine but still, that front toe textile+leather band is still too narrow. The insole felt a little warmer than my very first leather-lined pair and generally the entire feel of the sandal was similiar in support and adjustability except for my little toes. If Ecco had still used the narrower front bands, they would have been able to fit a wider range of wearers. So much for new Yucatans for walking sandals this year. I hope Ecco is not going the way of Merrell which seems now to create narrower, more cheaply made products!

At first these seemed to fit fine but after wearing them for a day they began to hurt my feet under the front strap. As other reviewers noted, the front strap is not actually adjustable. You can release the velcro but underneath is a solid layer that does not adjust. Since I've worn them, I can't return them & it's a lot of money wasted.

They look good for sport sandals and appear to be well-mannered. I liked the color. I walk 3-5 miles every day and comfort is most important. The material covering the foot pain of these shoes did not allow my feet to move at all. Consequently they rubbed blisters on the bottoms of my feet. I was hoping that after a few weeks they would become more comfortable, but they have not. I will use them only for short walks. In addition, they were a little too narrow for the width at the balls of my feet, and because the strap was joined all the way across, there was no way to really adjust for the width of my feet. Lastly, although some reviewers characterize the foot bed as cushy, I would not. It had little give, which makes walking long distances and standing less comfortable for me.

I really wanted these to work. I need a show with good arch support and Vionic doesn't carry an 'outdoor' type sandal in a woman's style. Unfortunately, the arch support just wasn't enough and I am returning them.

Handsome shoe but photo is misleading. The velcro strap over the toes is NOT a true Velcro fastener, permitting shoe to be completely open. Instead, under the fastener is a wide strip of black elastic. Alas but my toes would not fit underneath it without cutting into the top of my foot. Ouch! So reluctantly returning them.

Super cute. Even though I have avoided these kind of sandals forever I decided I wanted the support. I got the silver ones on a whim even though I am not a silver kind of girl. I really like the way they look, not too shiny. Everything about the sandal worked for me. I wear 6.5 and my foot is small and wide perfect fit except the arch support. I wear Sole insoles in all my hiking boots and shoes and these just aren't an aggressive enough arch support. Strangely I could feel the space between the shoe and my arch and slide my finger in there. Maybe there's a way to attach an insole but I don't want to deal with that after paying this kind of money for the sandal. If you need moderate arch support, don't hesitate.

I expected to like this sandal more, especially given its cost. The foot bed was a little long on me; it extends a bit too far beyond my toes, though the rest of the sandal is the right size. I have bunions. I got this sandal because it looked as though the strap that goes across the toes was adjustable. It's not. The Velcro strap there is ornamental. The arch support is moderately good; if you have sky-high arches, like I do, you may need something like the Strutz arch support. I expected better from an Ecco sandal, a brand I've loved in the past. As to the style, I actually like this style of sandal. Something about the look of it pleases me. And it's great that this one comes in lots of colors.

Not enough arch support for me, but I'm used to wearing Superfoot inserts in my shoes and have a complicated and painful foot. These just aren't right for me.

over 3 years ago I bought a pair of ecco rainier sandals and they have been the best shoes I ever had in my life - they had injected high arch supports , very thick grip type soles and helped with my balance- - after searching for another pair just like them over a period of months , there were none to be found so I settled on this pair as a substitute-these DO NOT have the high injected arch supports and the soles on this pair is not as grip friendly as the rainier model- elderly seniors need all the help they can get to keep from falling- I am not thrilled with the differences but I will keep them because I am desperate for new sandals- - it appears to me that the quality has been somewhat sacrificed but the price has remained high- no one in my circle of friends would believe I paid 140.45 for this pair of shoes- money is not the object, I am willing to pay whatever the price if I could only find exactly what I am looking for- if you are a first time buyer, you will probably be very happy with your purchase- if you are a second or third time buyer, do not expect the same high injected arch support and heavily gripped soles that you have become used to in the past- they look good and are well constructed- I hope these last 3 years like the last ones did-

I really wanted this sandal to work since I have been searching for a walking sandal that would work with my various foot problems: mild pronation, high arches, pronounced bunion right foot and tendonitis. It looks well made, is nice looking and very comfortable materials. However, the arch support just wasn't sufficient, it might have moderate arch support but is not designed for high arches. In addition, as one reviewer noted, the front strap looks adjustable but is not, and while the footbed in general was wide enough for my foot, the front strap was uncomfortably tight on the bunion. So, unfortunately, I've had to return it.

Not as comfortable as my old (apparently discontinued) Eccos, which were completely adjustable across the ball of the foot, for example. I experienced pain at the base of my big toe after a couple of miles in these. Overall, not especially comfortable.
