I ordered these for my daughter who usually wears a size 5. They were to small sent them back for a 6 still to small. Just reordered a size 7. She really wants these boots!!!

These run very narrow and a half to a whole size smaller than marked. I have the ankle zip up Minnetonka's in an 8 1/2 which I love but these 3-layer fringe ones in a 9 are much smaller than those are! The sole is much narrower in comparison. Another thing to note, I tried these same shoes on in the brown, also in a size 9, and they were huge, way too big, whereas the 'brick' ones feel snug. So I have concluded that within this style the sizing is inconsistent. I'm hoping mine will stretch out in the suede part. They are very cute in person, but I noticed some quality concerns on mine that my other Minnetonka's don't have, some bare spots in the suede. I have mixed feelings about them but I'm going to try to make them work.

I found that these fit shorter than the pair I tried on in a store one day! They had told me at the store that their sizes were sort of random. I am going to have to return and hope for a "bigger" 9 this next time.

They are really cute, unique, and versatile. However, they are more narrow & fit smaller than I expected. I'm hoping the reviews I read indicating they stretch with wear will apply because I don't want to return & await a reorder. I guess I'll wear them fitted! A girl just can't bear to not wear new shoes!

Boots worked out great. Were a birthday present for my daughter. She loves them! Recommend a size larger than what you wear as they seem to run small. Also, an intersole works great since there is not much to cushion the foot. They are like slippers.

The best thing about these boots is the style. The red color is gorgeous. Blood red, not too orange, not too bright. The fringe is adorable and the instep tailoring is reminiscent of cowboy boots. The bad? Comfort. There is very little padding in the insole. The rigid sole isn't comfortable at all compared to soft sole shoes. There is suede lining on the inside, but also a lot of exposed stitching all along the edge of your foot, which is highly irritating. Combine that with a rigidly narrow styling, and that makes for pain in my sensitive skin. The narrowness of the shoe would eventually stretch out because this is genuine leather, but even after that, my foot would overhang both the insole and the outsole, both of which are very narrow. The shoe is also about an inch longer than my toes. I have double-wide feet. The calf is narrow enough that on me, it forces the boot to be scrunchy, which isn't what it should be. There is no zipper or other way to open the calf, but it's easy to just slide your feet in and out. So, to summarize, if you're skinny and have long, narrow feet, you'll find the fit to be good right out of the box. You still won't be comfy, though, because the boots are hard-soled with almost no padding whatsoever.

I like these boots a lot but originally had an issue with getting them on since I have a high arch. After the 20 minutes or so it took to get the boots on originally it has since been easier since the suede stretches some. Otherwise I like them a lot, but the pull on style made it difficult at first and even to some extent, still makes them difficult to put on.

I absolutely love the look (and sound) of these boots. With that being said, the leg opening is very narrow. I have fairly thin legs and they fit me snugly; however, if my calves were any wider these boots might not be so awesome. They are great for moving and shaking in!

I received this shoe instead of the "Woodstock" that I ordered. But I fell in love with them and ended up keeping them. I ordered the Woodstock again because I still love that style.

I loved the look of these boots but they were too small, not only in the size of the foot, but the calf leaves no room to wear jeans with them for those with medium to large calves. I wished they would have fit, I love the style! Zappos is great with service though, overnight shipping rocks!

Very cute boots. They are very flat inside, have to order up. That way they fit the width, meanwhile then you have elf toe a bit cus they are too long. The ankle is loose on my, yet the opening is a little tight. I'm a 7 and bought an 8.

Love the boots! Sizing is small so I needed to order up a size. Both the delivery and return service were quick and easy - great service.

I love these boots. They are super cute, but have no support. The sole is just thick foam, so I don't think they would work in wet or cold climate. They are just for fun and fashionable.

Had to return unfortunately. These boots were cute. I bought them for a Halloween costume. Unfortunately they were way too small. Not only do they run very small, they are very hard to get your foot into.

I do like these boots and have bought several pairs over the years. I like them because they're cute, comfortable and the suede is soft. Recently I bought a new pair and the seams on the inside were really rough. I sent them back and Zappos sent me a new pair. This pair didn't have the same problem, so I encourage folks to ask for another pair with softer seams if that happens. The soles are rubber and pretty comfortable (no arch support) but they do wear out quickly. The suede begins to sag and stretch a bit over time, which makes them more comfy though they do hit a point when they begin to look old. I recommend Manitoba. They're from Canada and are actually a company run by Indigenous folks. The craftsmanship is much better. The beading is gorgeous.

I received a defective pair. It is too bad because I really liked those boots but I have to return them because the fringe on one of the boot is 2'' higher than the other boot. Those boots are super cute, the only drawback is the poor quality control. If you are order, i recommend buying two pairs then return one of them, since Zappos has great customer service, they won't let you down! Also, I'm usually a 8.5 and I bought a size 9, it fits perfect and I would def recommend this boots to anyone if the quality control was a bit better!

My teenaged daughter loves the boots that arrived today, and I'm amused and charmed that they are reminiscent of hippie wear of my own generation. The quality control is unfortunately poor, however. One boot's foot bed was a noticeable 3/8" wider than the other. The lack of a lining on a dyed suede boot means that socks, leggings, and jeans stain badly. I'll likely order a second pair to see if we can find matching boots.

Love them- I bought these in purple, they are true to size and of course you can see that there is no arch support, but you can buy a larger size and insert a pad and wear with socks. I sometimes have a problem with boots being too narrow, but I got these on and they fit my calf. I had a hard time making up my mind what color to buy. I wanted to buy more than one, but obviously they are not that practical a style and I prefer a higher heeled boot.

I was so disappointed with these boots. They were impossible to put on and way to tight on my calf. So sad :(

These boots are incredibly narrow! I have average to wide feet and they were incredibly uncomfortable. I realize they would have stretched out after a while, but my feet would have lopped over the sole and just looked ridiculous. They're cute, but unfortunately they are going back.
