Picture this: You're heading on a road trip. Or you're going to a festival. Or for a walk in the park. Running out to the mailbox to grab your mail. Going to Wal-Mart because you forgot something in a recipe. And you start to look for shoes.. desperately trying to find something easy to slip on or something fun to wear for a long day of walking or something that honestly could go with many outfits. Then you find it. And it is these shoes. Because let me tell you: These shoes have been the lifesaver that helped me when running out to go to the minute clinic. Or to the grocery store in town. Or when wanting to go to a festival downtown and didn't know what shoes could withstand hours of walking. But these shoes can. If you're sitting on the edge, wondering if you should take the plunge. Do it. Give them a few days to get used to your foot. But after that, these beauties won't disappoint you ever again. They are like magic.

I usually wear a 6.5 or 7. I ordered a size 38 and they fit very well. I sometimes like to wear sock with my Birkenstocks so they are perfect for me. I love the leather and the color goes well with everything. Super comfortable. I just love them.

Long time Birkenstock wearer. These fit great and feel great although there will be a short break in period. I am very happy with the narrow width. I feel I can always count on this brand for sizing standards consistent throughout the styles.

Lost my first pair to a puppy, bought another in a bind and Zappos did not disappoint! These were perfect. The all back is super stylish and they shipped so fast--I got them the day after I ordered them. The best part about these sandals is that they are comfortable right out of the box. For me they didn't need any breaking in. I walked probably about 5 miles in them the day I got them. Also, I have wider feet, but am still a narrow in Birkenstock. Thus, the regular width is very wide. I'm also typically an 8.5-9 in flat sandals but the 39 was the perfect fit. Will definitely be my go-to summer sandal.

What more can you say...they’re Birks! I love them. Great arch support, comfortable, and it’s summer time. These are my go to, especially when I’m on vacation and do a lot of walking. I don’t like to wear tennis shoes and socks in the heat.

This is my second Birkenstock purchase. I purchased the Gizeh style a few years ago and I still love them. I ordered my true size in the Gizeh style and they fit perfectly. When I ordered the Arizonas I ordered them in the same size and when I got them in they fit comically large. They were not only too wide, but also too long. I thought maybe I got an off pair but when I held them up to my Gizehs they seemed to be the same size. I returned that pair and before I ordered a size smaller I thought I'd try the narrow. Low and behold they fit perfectly! I couldn't find anything online that mentioned certain styles fitting differently. They even seemed shorter in length. So maybe I did receive an off pair, but if you find that your normal size seems too big, try the narrow before completely sizing down. Once I got the size corrected, they are just as conformable as my first pair!

Husband wears this style and always happy with them. Says I take them out if the box, put them on and don't need to be broken in.

I was a bit skeptic at first, but the fit and feel of these sandals is wonderful. A bit pricey, but hopefully these will last a long time! I really wanted a different style, but my size was not available.

There's a small adjustment period especially after working around with them. But your feet adjust to it! I got a whole size smaller than I usually do but they feel great!

These shoes are extremely comfortable! I’m a size 10 for most shoes but had to go with the 9-9.5 for these. Would buy again!

Make sure you know your Birkenstock fit before securing a size. When in doubt, consider sizing one number down. For instance, if you wear primarily American sized 9.5 dress shoes and 10 in sneakers, the 42 will likely be fine in the Arizona. Firm initially, Birkenstocks soon wear in perfectly to confirm to your feet. They feel great on your feet after a workday or all day on the weekend. I’d wear them to work if I could!

I have long, narrow feet (44N) and the Arizona is one of the few off-the-shelf sandals I can wear. I love the comfort, the look and the overall durability. I have had five or six pairs and wear them until they literally start falling apart although that takes a lot of walking! Zappos had the best price I could find and I received them only two days after ordering. I couldn't be happier.

Great sandals all around. I found that the conversion from euro sizes to US required me to drop a size. These are the only sandals that I buy because they are so comfortable.

Probably the 7th or 8th pair of Birks I have owned. I tried a couple of different brands and styles from Zappos, and returned both of them before going back to Birkenstocks. They're not beautiful or even cute (nor are my feet) but I took them out of the box, put them on and have worn them almost non-stop for a week. The original footbed provides great support for my arthritic ball of foot area, and up until now I've always had the leather tops. These are the Birko-Flor, which I guess is synthetic something. In any event while playing with the hose the other day, I got the tops damp and there's no damage or marking left at all. Love my new birks!

Love Birkenstocks. I’m still breaking them in, and that can be a pain, but it’s worth it. Quality is what I’ve come to expect from this brand, and these are no exception.

These shoes are worth every penny, I practically live in these now! Super comfy and I was able to break them in rather quickly

They're great looking shoes and a good price for the brand and style. They just didn't work for me (my problem not the shoes).

These are beautiful sandals and the only sandals you should be wearing! Style and comfort are excellent. I ordered a narrow width because I wanted a snug fit that wouldn't let my feet slip out easily. However because of the narrow fit it took me a month or more to break into these because of the contours I was feeling on the sides of my foot. But once you break them in, it almost feels great. The Birkenstock website provides a size chart that's very helpful and it's recommended you check it out because sizing can be tricky for Birks. These are my go to sandals and shoe alternative. Easy to wear and easily goes with any outfit. The cork footbed molds to the shape of your foot while capturing the outline of it as well. I ordered this one and not the oiled leather because the material on the straps are easy to clean after getting wet or dirty. Overall a great buy that provides premium comfort and style.
