Can't start without saying I LOVE KEENS! I've recommended them to a bunch of friends and family who now also love 'em. I use mine mainly for sailing, and they're perfect. Use 'em on the boat, on the docks, in the dinghy, in the water - you name it. Phenomenal toe protection. Quick drying. Terrific arch support. These shoes will also keep your tootsies happy while just plain walking. Great shoes for sight-seeing.

This shoe is wonderfully comfortable and has a soft lining, looks like traditional Keens with a wide toe box. Only reason I am returning it is that I decided on the Keen Whisper sandal with its odor guard sole, since I will be wearing them where it is hot and humid and will be wearing them all day while walking. I wish I could keep them!

Comfortable; great for wet/dry hiking. Good tread on dry surfaces. Easy slip on/off. Protected toe makes them feel safe as opposed to sandals.

My plantar fasciitis recently flared up as a result wearing too wide shoes with no arch support. The Keen Venice H2 shoe was the remedy. It's the only shoe I can wear at the present time. Today I went to a company luncheon in San Francisco and walked quite a long way on cement with no heal pain. Amazing since I had on thin socks. The Venice H2 is initially a little difficult to slip on, but it gets easier. I thought that the Keen Venice H2 would be the same as the Newport H2 except for the strap design, but I found this not so in my case. I ordered both, but found the Newport H2 was too wide for my foot (I'm a 7.5 medium) especially in the toe box, which might be an advantage for someone else. Also, the Newport did not feel as if it had as much arch support or cushion as the Venice. As all reviewers write, the Venice H2 has good arch support and cushion, but yet feels like you are barefoot because it's so comfortable. I'm purchasing 2 more in different colors!

Lightweight, comfortable right out of the box. My previous pair of Keen sandals lasted for three full years of hard wearing through every season but winter.

My third pair! I love these shoes! My last pair lasted seven years!

This is my 4 pair of Keen from Zappos. I love the comfort, airiness, they are super light. Great for walking, hiking at the beach, biking. Even yard work. Plus they are washable inside and out, easy to dry, and look great for years. No fading or yellowing. Love them.

I love this shoe. Fits similar to the old style Whisper Slide which had a much wider fit than the current version, which is way too narrow for my foot. I was ready to give up on Keen sandals until I tried the Venice H2. Ahhhh...it felt like coming home again. Fantastic comfort right out of the box. Did I mention the awesome coral/burnt orange color that looks good with so many things. Now, if only they made this shoe in a slide...I would buy every color! Lastly, I am usually an 8 1/2. I always size up to a 9 in Keens and they fit perfect!

VeniceH2, I cannot say enough good things, my cousin has a pair and loved them so I decided to try them, first time I have ever ordered a pair of shoes online. I read reviews and played around for three weeks before I finally told myself to just do it you can always send them back. Well it was love at first try on. I have had them now for three months and the really true test was when I wore them to our state fair a few days ago without socks for 8½ hours, took a pair with me just in case. Also I wanted to say that I cannot wear sandals I have tried lots they always hurt the piggys and I did order a half size larger than I normally wear. I will order another pair next spring in a different color so I can have two pairs. I absolutely love them!

Last minute purchase before leaving for vacation - wanted a more substantial, multi-purpose shoe - the reviews steered me to the Venice; I took a chance on a 8.5 (my feet have shrunk for some inexplicable reason)but toes were a bit too close to the end so ordered a 9. Fit well, but the turnaround time was perfect - both pairs delivered within the week- comfortable right out of the box! Thanks!

This is the second pair of these that I have purchased this summer. I love them. Other reviewers are correct, half a size larger is better. I have one of each size (8½ and 9) and the 9 gives my toes just the right amount of room. These bright-colored scandals are also great to wear with contrasting color socks that show though the open spaces. I receive lots of positive comments when I wear them.

My sister and brother both have these sandals and love them so I had to give them a try. I have had problems with support from sandals but my feet feel snug in these and able to walk on all kinds of terrain.

These are perfect. Size is true. Love them! The color is more a purplish red. I actually like it better than the dark red I thought it was. I use them for boating and they are not slippery when walking on a wet surface. ! That is important. I like the toe protection. Don't change anything about them, I plan to buy another pair in a few years.

These are the very best water type sandal for me. They are stretchy and accommodate my wide foot. I wore my other pair out. They are so comfortable. I've tried many others but these are the best.

This shoe replaced my closed-in athletic shoes. My feet are much cooler while performing the same ranch chores and multi-dog walking forays. Good heel support with Keen's comfortable, wide, protected. Toe-box.

I ordered a size 7.5, or 38, my usual size. Shoe was too small, and I had to exchange for 8, 38.5, which is perfect. This is a great shoe but I think it will let the small stones in on the side, so I expect to be taking them off and on, but they let more air in. Also, I have some older Keen sandals, maybe Newport? And these new ones are lighter weight which is great for travel, at least 2 oz each shoe lighter! Zappos made my order of the first lot and arrival of my exchanged shoe all happen within 5 days! Pretty amazing, no problems.

Great shoe! Can walk for miles. Wish it came in more colors. I have black, turquoise, purple, multi, blue...I am waiting for a tan or khaki.

I borrowed a pair of keens and just had to have them. I've been wearing mine for every casual occasion, including my daily mile walk. Very, very comfortable. My feet at a little wide and I was pleased that the shoe accommodates that. I will always keep a pair near me.

I LOVE these shoes! I have a wide foot and had a hip replacement which really made finding a comfortable shoe hard to find. These are great. No break in period. Basically I can be in these all day with no problems. I have about 7 pair of these now. Thanks Keen! Great service at Zappos, had to return a shoe, super nice and fast service. Great to deal with.

I have a very high arch, wide feet, and short toes. (Think Fred Flintstone feet on a woman and you've got it!) This combination of attributes has made it really hard to find comfortable shoes over the years. My fiance bought my first pair of this type of shoe (not this brand and actually not a woman's shoe) about five years ago. They were a bit big and not pretty but I loved them! As they began to wear out, I started to look for something similar but more attractive and feminine. I liked the look of these Venice H2s but since my previous pair weren't women's shoes, I couldn't figure out what size to buy or which style. I gathered the Keen's tend to run small and I knew the various styles probably had some slight variations in fit. I'm generally a size 8. None of the reviews that I read really said too much about width except for some narrow width folks so I'm writing this for all the fat foots out there! I tried on the Keen Venice H2s, the Keen Newport H2s and a pair of Chacos in sizes 8.5 to 9. The Newport H2s were a fabulous fit with more coverage, but my short, fat, baby toe (right foot only) kept trying to peek out one of the openings. It didn't hurt but it was just short enough to almost escape. Going from a size 8.5 up to a 9 helped but it was still a slight annoyance. The 8.5s held my foot close without any apparent rubbing but it's hot here in California and they felt a bit confining. The 9s were roomier thoughout the entire shoe with a little looser fit that felt cooler without being sloppy. The cinch at the top of the arch made them feel very secure. However, even in the size nine that baby toe kept trying to make an appearance out the side of the Newports. Then I tried on the Venice H2s. I Tried going up a half size first. Size 8.5 felt like it might rub on the underside of my foot right behind the ball of my foot and under the arch. Ouch. Not good. But when I tried on the 9s in the Venice H2s all that changed. I cinched up the elastic over the arch. They fit perfectly. Baby Toe was nowhere in sight. No rubbing anywhere. No constricting the foot inside the shoe and not too loose either. The Celestial Blue/Grotto color is so cheerful and feminine. I had to go up one whole size but they're wonderful! If you have wide feet and high arches consider trying the Venice H2 and going up one size.

I have had the Keen Whisper sandal for a couple years and wore them on two overseas trips with much success. I loved them! However, this year a bunion developed on one foot and made them too uncomfortable and tight-feeling to wear anymore. I really wanted a closed-toe sandal for travel, and so needed a style that was wider in the toe box. After doing some research via Zappos reviews, I came up with this style as a possibility. It feels great! I cannot say how happy I am that I found a pair to work! I love Keen's quality and know they will stand up to years of wear. I got them prior to a trip to Germany, so wore them around home a day first to make sure they would be OK for the long haul! They passed with flying colors! They were comfortable from the start, and stayed feeling that way. I had no problem wearing them for long walks on the cobblestone streets and other uneven surfaces. I got the black/neutral gray for color and it looks great with a lot of things. What I especially like is that the sole is gray and not black: it makes the sandal look less heavy and clunky. (I had the Keen Whisper in black, and that's one thing I didn't end up liking about it: the black sole.) I usually have to go up 1/2 a size on Keen sandals, but for these I needed to go up a full size. Thank you to Zappos for their incredible return service!

These are fabulous shoes. I have some issues with my feet and these are the only sand led I can put on with NO pain at all. I love all the colors too!

Initially I ordered the Venice in size 10. Loved the color, but it clearly was too short and my toes were hitting the top. I have never worn anything but a 10, but taking the advice of others, I ordered a half size larger in the Venice H2. The length of this was fine; but almost too wide. I debated whether to return it for that reason. I usually wear a medium, no problem. With socks, the width is not a problem. Later this Fall, I will wear it with socks, but that extra width may bother others. Otherwise, the arch and heel support are terrific. For about 4 years, I wore the Whisper, but could not wear it all day, and therefore was not my choice to take on trips, because my feet began to hurt due to lack of support. So far, I have worn these all day long, and the support has been great. I could see walking on cobblestones or on beach with no problem.

I bought these for the quality that Keen is famous for, also the color! I wanted a Keen sandal in a dark blue. (This was the only one in my size.) This style, Venice H2, is okay, but I like the Whisper better. The Venice seems wider with less adjustment for my narrow foot. I'm a big fan of Zappos for great customer service, fast, free shipping, and free returns.

These are my fourth pair of Keens, so, yes, they are terrific. This time, though, I tried both the 9 and the 8 1/2 and found that I'd been buying the wrong size. The 8 1/2 was slightly tight, but a day in them made them perfect. I walk for exercise (600 miles last year!) and will walk in these all summer. Love the color.
