Birthday Emergency - My daughter really wanted Heelys for her 7th birthday. They were nowhere to be found in the Chicagoland area. Zappos delivered them the next day. She was thrilled. She wears them everywhere. Now she loves going to the grocery store.

Very happy! My child is very happy. She is 6. She learned very fast. I wish I would have ordered one size larger.

Heelys Spree are Great Fun! We purchased these shoes for our daughter for her Birthday in July (she's 10) and can honestly say that they are constantly on her feet! She LOVES them! No sore knees, feet or ankles and lots of great exercise! I think it's been the best investment for her in a long time! I ordered them a full 2 sizes too big...one to account for them running a size small and one to grow into. We just put some of the packing in the toes to make them work fine until she grows into (and then out of) them. Her friends all want them now and adults around her are amazed. She's very good about using them when appropriate and carries the tool and plugs with her for quick and easy changing. It took her a few days to figure it out and get comfortable with it...landed flat on her hynie the first time. I suggest going to a tennis court or someplace where the surface is VERY smooth to learn. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another pair in a couple of years for her if she still is wearing them like she is now!

How to p lease an 8-yr old - My granddaughter wanted this for her birthday. Even though she had trouble learning how to roll, she loved the look and fit of the shoe. The directions for inserting the wheels are clear, and the quality of the shoe is excellent.

Chan says yes to Heelys - Wow it’s roller-skates and shoe. I’ve bought all the other shoes where you have to carry around this huge pair of skates and the other ones where you have the skates already in the shoe and the shoe feels like you have weights on your feet. This shoe is really great.

They are a hit! I bought these for my 11-year-old son and I would definitely recommend buying a full size larger than your regular shoe size. He normally wears a wide but can wear these comfortably. They are very snug anyway which is probably a good idea from a safety standpoint. He practiced in our driveway the first time he wore them but they do better indoors than outdoors -- too many cracks in the sidewalk. He likes to wear them to places like the grocery store, Sam's Club and Home Depot where the floor is one flat surface although he has learned to exercise self-discipline when it is crowded. He is very pleased with them and wears them whenever he can.

Great shoes - These shoes are great and wonderful to have. I love them a lot.

Wonderful birthday present for our daughter! My daughter went nuts when she received these for her birthday. She is 9 and she has been asking for these forever!!! They are just perfect and she was thrilled. She was able to skate on them almost immediately and they seem to be made very well and she should be able to have a long time to wear these. I think she'll outgrow them before they wear out. My 7 seven year old is now dying for them! They are hard to find, so I was pleased when they had her size. Thanks a bunch for making her day!

Great Shoe - Love the shoes. Ordered size bigger than normal size. Never knew that such an item was such a hit with my daughter. She loves them. Would buy again.

These Shoes Are Awesome! I bought these shoes, feeling like I was going to fall on my face, and I did! But then I got the hang of it! Now I roll very easily, and it is a lot of fun! If you get these wonderful shoes, you will get lot of pleasure out of them! You won't regret it!!

Great Purchase! My 6 year old hasn't taken off her Heely's since we got them. They are very well put together and nice looking...you would never guess they were skates.

My Daughter loves them! After my daughter's first pair of Heelys wore out, I went back to buy her another pair because of the experience we had with the first pair. She absolutely loves them!

Nice shoes if you can find them - All of the retail stores in our city were sold out of these. Zappos shipped very quickly at a comparable price! I gave it 4 stars for comfort because our daughter complained of arch discomfort, which we theorized had to do with having to walk on her toes more than usual to keep from rolling. We are also finding more places that either ban these shoes or scold your child for rolling in them. Other than that, we have been very happy with the quality and fit of these!

Heelys - This was a great buy. My daughter will not take them off!

Very good - Pros: They are really fun, and you can go fast in them. It's interesting to have a shoe you have to learn how to use. Cons: When you wear them for too long, the top of your foot might start to hurt.

Best Birthday Gift - I looked and called all over locally at different sport-type stores, they were all sold out. I was told by one employee that they are this generation's "cabbage patch kids." Well, since my daughter's birthday was the next day, I went on line and found that Zappos had them at a great price and free shipping both ways, although I had to pay extra for overnight shipping, I liked the fact that I could return it for free if it didn't fit. Needless to say, my daughter loved them and always wants to wear them. We live in NYC and she gets more stares (which normally no one does) by people saying what cool shoes they are. SHE LOVES THEM!!!

If I were young again - My grand daughter became a Heely whiz in just a few hours. The smile on her face was as big as Kansas with the rainbow.
