I've been wearing 13 6E versions of this shoe for years. I wear these shoes so much, I went ahead and bought a pair in June 2019, just to be ready when the current pair I have wear out. It's been rainy the last few days, and while walking outside, I've heard the "squish" coming from my left shoe, telling me that the sole has worn through, and it's time to change to the new pair waiting in reserve. But to my surprise, I can't even get my left foot into the new shoe! It's marked as the same size, but even with the insole removed, I can't get my heel squeezed in. My left foot is a full size larger than my right, so I was able to get my right foot in. I'm aware that there is a break-in period for these shoes, and they are always tight on my left foot for the first few months I wear them, but this is the first time I've had to return a pair of them because I simply couldn't get my foot into the shoe (even with very thin, dress socks). All these years I've been willing to put up with the lack of style that these shoes offer, in exchange for a reasonably priced pair of shoes that fit me, and can easily be slipped on and off. I don't know if this pair was just a fluke, or if they changed factories and/or tooling, and now the shoes just run smaller. I definitely noticed a change in the quality of this pair. There are now noticeable lumps where the leather from the toe tucks under the covering leather. This was not present on previous pairs. Clearly the quality control is suffering as well. Very unhappy with the changes that have apparently been taking place with Dunham's production processes.

Dunham is actually a New Balance company. I was trying to find the dress shoe equivalent to the 927's, which I have to wear to avoid pain in both my big toes and flat feet. The 927's also have the Rollbar, but in that shoe it's obvious. In this one, I don't believe it actually has it. The arch support isn't that great either. Why is it so hard to design a dress shoe that's both stylish and comfortable for someone with feet like mine? I'm in my 30's, not my 90's. I'm single and I still care about not looking like a dork.

Bought these for my 84 yr old dad with neuropathy who can't manage laces well anymore. He has a narrow foot and narrow men's shoes are hard to find! With a shoe horn, he can get these on and off, plus they are snug enough around his heel so they stay on his feet. True to size and they grip the floor.

Great shoes, very wide. The 2E are larger than the 4E on some other shoes. Wish they had a brown version.

When you are a size 15 ee choices in shoes are limited. This shoe is comfortable and true to size and width. My brother is a field technician and really puts them to rough wear and they have held up beautifully.

I have had two pairs of dress shoes from back when they were made with the New Balance label. This is my first pair of Dunham shoes and they are great! I hope they hold up as well as those I purchased years ago.

Finally after searching for a shoe that would fit my son's feet, this one worked! Great for business casual or dress. True to size & width. These are made from the makers of New Balance.

Dunham is a New Balance product, so I ordered my NB size of 10.5. In most other shoes I am size 10. These shoes feel slightly loose, but part of that is because they are slip-ons. I am happy with them, though I'm curious how a 10 would fit. They are supportive, but also nice and light.

I gave this shoe only 3 stars because the top part rides too low on the foot. Because of this I feel like the shoe is going to fall off my foot in mid-stride. I wear size 10 wide and it seems to fit fine. I ordered this shoe along with Hush Puppy and Rockport and the Hush Puppy felt really good. So, I'm returning the Dunham Battery Park.

I have wore Dunham shoes for years and they have always fit great, until this pair. The left shoe fits great, the right shoe is about 1/2 size too long and 1 size too narrow, and the instep is far off. I have been wearing these on and off for a week. Today I wore them shopping and came home nearly crippled with the ball of my foot in serious pain. I would like to return them however since I actually wore the shoes to see how they fit Zappos policy does not allow it. After years of Dunham shoe satisfaction, I will probably never buy a pair of their's again.

These shoes are great. They fit as they should, they wear well, they look good. What more do you need! Oh yeah, quick to get on when the dog wants to go out. This is my 3rd pair.

I purchased a pair of Dunham hiking boots in 14 Narrow several years ago and they have been on my feet for around 1000 miles. Obviously, they fit great. I recently purchased (not from Zappo's) a pair of lace-up Dunham casual shoes in size 14 Narrow and they did not turn out so well. They were just too big. Too long and too wide. They felt like clown shoes. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how bad they were until I had worn them several times. I felt like I couldn't return them. So it was with some anxiety that I purchased this shoe from Zappo's. I have been pleasantly surprised because they fit very well both in the length and the width.

These are very nice shoes, just what I was looking for in a casual waterproof shoe. But the 9-1/2 (my usual size) was simply too small (overall, but mostly too short). I've exchanged them for a size 10, which fits my 9-1/2 feet much better.

I thought the brown in this style were gone forever. I was wrong. Thanks for bringing the brown Battery Park back.

I have a high arch and plantar fasciatis/metatarsal issues. This along with the Rockport ProWalker are the only shoes i can currently wear. I use my own Aetrex memory foam insole (metatarsal support) in both shoes. This is a super lightweight, comfy shoe, with excellent sole and arch support.

This is a great casual shoe for someone who has a narrow width and wants a slip-on. I also have a pair of the Dunham Litchfield model. The Battery Park is a bit more stylish, has a deeper shine and less aggressive tread than the Litchfield. They are easy to wear with chinos or other informal slacks. The shoes are easy to slip and get off. They hit the spot for a casual loafer.

Good shoes, but they only lasted a year and half before the side blew out on the right shoe. Also, the backs started to collapse more when I slipped them on. They just didn't last long enough to buy from this company a second time.

On my seventh pair first five were comfortable and supportive. Last two pair started squeezing after the third week. I'm in retail management on my feet on concrete floors all day. I'm returning my current pair. Hard to fine comfort and support in a size 16 4E. Going to write to the manufacturer.
