Birkenstock's softest - This is my third pair of Florida's. I keep a pair in our vacation house and at home in two colors. I can't wait to take off whatever shoes I've worn during the day and slip into them. They are soft, supportive and oh so comfy.

I have plantar fascitis, and I have a high arch. These sandals are excellent for both problems. I find the soft bed Birkenstocks to be more comfortable than the hard footbeds and easier to adapt to. I wish they were not so expensive, but with foot problems, they are worth it!

Takes a few days to get used to the top strap since it hits high on the foot. After that short breaking-in period, the sandals feel wonderful, and I prefer the look of the more narrow straps.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my daughter. We were not sure about the soft footbed as both of us have worn the traditional Birkenstock footbed and loved it. Needless to say she loved them straight out of the box and says they are amazingly comfortable. A successful birthday gift!

This is my fav style of Birkenstocks, which I've worn for many years. But I'd never tried the new soft footbed before. I loved it! Feels like they're already broken in from the first time you slip them on! Excellent!

This is a new member to my Birkenstock family of 37 others. This one as like all the others I own couldn't be any more comfortable than they already are. That's not even saying that not only are they comfortable, but they are good for your feet with the cork sole that forms to your foot for maximum and personalized stability.I am a firm believer in Birkenstock!

Super comfy! Just one note, the top strap hits pretty high on the foot. I was expecting it to be a little lower, so the first day or two that I wore them they rubbed my foot a little. But once broken in they are awesome. I love the softer footbed too!

These sandals are awesome. They provide much needed support for my feet. Buying from Zappos is easy and fast. We'll definitely buy from this site again.

I highly recommend this shoe to people who have high arches and 'tender feet'. I have had heel problems and after length standing or walking the balls of my feet feel sore. When my feet are sore from wearing other shoes, I put these on and it's heavenly. I would also like to say how wonderful Zappos is. Both in their products and service!

I love Birkenstock shoes. This is my 5th pair. What's different about these is that they have the soft foot bed and only came in narrow. I wish they all did. The fit is fab, the style and color are perfect and they will last forever. Zappos.com is the only place I buy shoes from now. The customer service rocks! Thanks for another great pair of shoes.

I wear my Birks at home to restore my feet after wearing dress shoes all day. The Birki-Flor straps on this style are a little stiff, but they are otherwise the same great Birk quality.

This is my first pair of the soft footbed Birkenstock shoes and wow! They are so comfortable. I do have about a dozen pair of Birkenstock, but these will be my new favorite. You can wear them right out of the box, no break in. Birkenstock are the only sandals I can wear because I wear orthotics in my shoes and the only sandals my doctors recommend because of the support.

These are the best shoes for working around the house and in the kitchen. Great product and excellent service from Zappos. Thanks.

Florida Soft Footbed - One of my favorite Birkenstock purchases...I LOVE the soft footbed. These shoes need NO break-in period; they are ready to wear as soon as you take them out of the box.

Birkenstocks are the best - I wear Birkenstocks all the time. I especially like the Florida style because it gives my foot the stability I need. The 3 straps are adjustable and can be changed when my feet swell or if the leather stretches at all. I love Birkenstocks.

First let me say the service from Zappos is outstanding, one day and I was in my new Birkenstocks!! I love the Florida style and the soft footbed is exceptional comfort!! I had a terrible accident and crushed an ankle, I now have problems finding shoes that will work with all my foot problems and for three years had not even had sandals as I wore tennis shoes through the entire summer, after many, many pairs of sandals not working out for me, hurting ankle daily it was suggested to me to try a pair Birkenstocks. Wow! The very first day I could tell a difference in my pain. I did have to slowly get used to them but after about a week at a couple of hours a day my foot pain is almost gone...This is my favorite style as they fit me the best and do not hurt my feet or ankle in any way! I wish I have found them three years ago but am thrilled to be back in sandals and so happy to have so much less foot pain!! Thank you so much for them and thank you again for the fast excellent service, I will be back for more Birkenstocks from Zappos!!

Florida Soft Footbed is Great! Just purchased the Florida Soft Footbed by Birkenstock from Zappos.com. I was looking for either the Florida or Arizona in black and ended up with the soft footbed because that was what was available and I couldn't find what I wanted locally. It was the first time I'd tried this type. They are wicked comfortable. I'm 8 months pregnant with twins and they have been a life saver. I wear them almost everyday (when I'm not wearing my old Birks!). I would definitely recommend them and I would definitely purchase another pair. Zappos.com was an incredible experience.

They even look and feel good after getting wet! Yes, I was at Universal Studios riding all the water rides and even got rained on, but my Birkies held up great. I have a VERY narrow foot so I have the buckles set as small as I can get them without pressing too hard against my foot. This is my very first pair of Birkies and I love them! I even got my husband a pair and myself a second pair of this same style. I hope Zappos continues to carry the Florida style or something very close to it.

Birkenstock fan - Thank you, Zappos! I received my Birkenstocks VERY quickly and they were as comfortable as I hoped they'd be. I ordered the "medium" width and they make my feet look a little wide... but hey... I guess that's just my wide feet!

Softer is even better! I've worn Birks since 1995...amazing shoes. I never had tried them until I broke my toe in 1995, and someone recommended them to me...they were a lifesaver and ever since I have only worn comfort shoes! I have many pairs of Birks and I was very curious about the soft footbed style. It didn't disappoint. It's really nice and comfy without being too cushy. Gives the same great support, etc. The Florida is also a new style for me, and looks more feminine than the Arizona, Zurich, etc. I'm very happy I tried it...I liked it! I hope they come out with more variety of styles in this softer footbed.

Very Very Comfortable - I bought a pair of the soft footbed in January and just purchased a pair for my Mom for Mother's Day.....they are the Most Comfortable Birkenstocks I have ever worn. You do not have to break them in, they fit soooo comfortable. I highly recommend the sandals to anyone!!!
