I loved the style and color. The left shoe fit pretty well but on the right shoe I could not get the straps adjusted to fit comfortably. It was either too loose or too tight. It just was uncomfortable. I'm so disappointed because I really liked this shoe.

Nice sandals and comfortable but a bit pricey.

The strap nearest my ankle is rubbing.

I love the Arizona Soft Footbed style, not my first pair. I returned the oiled leather and ordered the suede. I personally feel that the suede is more giving and not so tight across the foot. Looking forward to receiving these Arizona Soft Footbed in Regular width. Had a bit of a search. I've had quite a few pairs of Birkenstock and wondering why, there are SO MANY narrow sandals than the regular/wide??? I was excited over the cute new platform style this year, but ALL are narrow. Love my Birkenstock but hard to shop for other styles when the majority is NARROW. And not many with the Soft Footbed. Please bring back more Regular/Wide sandals Birkenstock!

I was hoping the soft footbed would make these comfortable. They're not soft at all. Very hard. I wore for a few minutes and my knee hurt. Had to send them back. I've had Birkenstocks in the past and liked them, but these were just too hard to try to break in.

The leather was too stiff to be comfortable.

Size number seems true, I wear a size 5 women's shoe and these fit comfortably. However, their width sizes are hard to figure out - I wear a medium width shoe and in this Birkenstock sandal I had to order a narrow, and that was after much research into their sizes. I love these shoes for just sliding them on to wear around the house or if I need to go outside for a quick trip. They are so comfortable after the shoe molds to your foot a bit - for me that took about a month. I have had these 3 years and am back to buy the exact same pair again. Some cons: these cannot be work in any sort of wet environment. If the bed of the shoe becomes wet, say from using your garden hose and it splashing on your foot, they become very slippery inside the sandal and are treacherous. The soles are not good for anything wet either, even just walking across a wet deck outside for example. Even ordering a narrow, I had to put an extra hole in the straps to tighten up the shoe, and then had to cut off the ends of the leather because it was rolling up. That may just be a unique problem though. As I said, I love these and was prompted to write a review when I clicked on my previous order so that I'd be sure to order the exact same shoe.

I absolutely love these sandals. They are so comfortable after breaking them in to your foot - which takes maybe a month I'd say. The straps are a bit long, and after awhile they curled up on me, but my foot is small and I had extra strap. I ended up cutting them off shorter with a razor knife, and that worked fine. The only complaint I have about these sandals is that the SOLE IS EXTREMELY SLIPPERY on any wet surface. I have almost fallen multiple times on wet concrete in my garage. After the soles wore out, I took the sandals to a local shop and had them replace the soles with Vibram, which was pricey but worked out great. I wish Birkenstock would offer more sandals with Vibram soles.

I'd been looking for Arizona in Iron Oiled Leather Softbed for a long time. Glad to find it here. Easy order, easy check out. I opted to pay for 2-day delivery. Shipped exactly as stated. These Birkenstocks are def a 'stiffer-feel' due to the leather and nature of the footbed but I wanted a sandal that is made to LAST /quality. I believe this will. The 2 areas I'll comment on are the straps- they are stiff and do irritate the top toes of rt foot. I might put cushion under until these sandals are broken in. The 'color' of the leather is ok but you can see 'striations' (lines) within the strap color. Be prepared for your ankles /legs to be affected when you first walk in them...they make you use different muscles lol. Overall: I recommend these sandals.

With Birkenstocks they always feel too wide and big when I first put them on. They have to be worn at least a few days before they start to mold to your feet. Not sure how I will like the oiled leather material but am happy to be wearing Arizona style once again.

The fit was good, but the underneath the straps was rubbing my foot. Love the shoe.

I have at least 6 pairs of Birkenstock’s. These are taking longer to break in and are stiff. Hopefully in a couple weeks they will be perfect.

I got the men’s narrow width after reading the reviews . I’m a woman with slightly wide feet and always buy regular width in women’s Birkenstock. Even though the narrow men’s width fit, it doesn’t look that great on me. I know that the regular men’s width does not fit me, since I’ve tried my husband’s sandals before… I would have to size up for this to look normal on my foot. I wasn’t in love with the color that I picked. They look better in the picture than the pair I received. Oiled leather in Khaki is not for me. The soft footbed feels as always. Good. I’ll just buy women’s regular in a different color. Also, the box I revived was in bad condition. The tags had been removed etc. I’m not paying full price for something that almost looks previously used.

I own many Arizonas and love them. Color was not as pictured. Not a darker blue. What I received was either their sky blue or dusty blue color. They didn't come in a box so not sure which. Will keep because I don't have a pair of Arizonas this color.

I bought these shoes because I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis. I can honestly say they have really helped with the heel and arch pain I was experiencing. I purchased the leather version because I thought they would wear better and longer but kind of wish I had gotten the softer suede ones. They have given me a blister on the top of one of my toes, but I am hoping after they are more broken in, that will disappear.

I Love Birkenstock, but the leather on this was too stiff and hurt the tops of my feet. I'll try the suede or the Birko-flor style next time. The arch support is excellent! A must have is the soft footbed for bad knees and ankles.

We liked the shoes but my hubs has high arches and these did not fit even with the adjustable straps.

one size smaller then normal. The color is lighter then viewed on web site, would have gave 5 star overall.

Overall, these are comfortable, like the look, mild discomfort on the top strap.

The soft bed is a game changer. I was a little disappointed in the rough colored leather expecting a more refined uniform look. I oiled the leather though and now love them.

I had Birkenstock Arizona sandals for a decade in the late 1990s/early 2000s and I loved them. They had the regular/standard footbeds, a I loved the nubuck version in a lighter tan/brown. I wore a size 42 then and they always fit well, although the soles at the back would wear away since I wore them nonstop in the warm months and probably didn't curl my toes enough to prevent scraping the heel sole. This new pair is good but I had to go down to a 41 (I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 in all other brands of shoes) since the 42 was just too long. The 41 works, I don't find that my toes are hitting the front lip of the footbed too much. The issue I have is the soft footbed doesn't have as pronounced a ridge that I can grab with my toes in the proper walking motion. It feels OK, but I wish the soft footbed didn't modify this unique feature of the classic Birk. Importantly, the color I chose was only available in the soft footbed, so maybe just offering both types of footbeds in each style/color would be a good solution.

Super stylish! Takes a good amount of time to break In, but that’s expected with Birks.
