The fit and size was perfect. The nubuck leather is very thick & stiff at the front edge of the Arizona's first wide strap right behind the toes and is painful on the top of the foot. I would have liked to wear them to see if they would break in a bit but then I would not be able to return if it didn't happen.

Size and fit was great, I'm pretty much a true 8.5 in Womens sizing. These fit great (EU 39). I would say my width is average? Not wide/not narrow. These were great there too. I got the soft footbed, which made these very comfortable off the bat. Upon first wear, the straps felt a little snug but the next hole felt too lose. I figured I would endure mild discomfort for a few wears (about 3 in my experience) for the leather to stretch to my foot. They feel perfect now. The leather stretched perfectly so they fit great with/without socks. Arch support is great too! I will get arch pain intermittently, but haven't felt that with these. Will update the review if that changes, but I don't see that being the case. The color was true to the photo as well (I got Tobacco). Overall great shoe, I can't wait to keep these for a lifetime. Don't forget, most shoes can be kept for a long time by visiting a cobbler for repairs!

These shoes fit perfect. Birkenstocks generally always have a break in period, these felt great by the third day.

Best ever. If anything and even possible, wish they were more cushiony.

Size 39 fit perfectly

I normally wear size 10, 43 but these were too big, I needed to go to size 42 which were a perfect fit.

Perfect size for my narrow foot

The fit an size were perfect ! Although I need to wear regular width Birkenstocks with the straps on the tightest hole. The material is soft an comfortable. They are comfy an give support I need.

My husband loved his new birks, they look great on him and he says they're soft and comfortable. This is the first pair we purchased with soft bead soles and they're even better than the regular ones. As usual Zappos delivered right on time!

This has to be the 5th pair of these Birkenstock sandals we have bought, they are perfect for me.

The fit was a little large, I called Zappos CS and they took care of ordering a new size and helped me return the original sandals. I’m very happy with them.

I never considered my feet to be narrow but these were actually a bit too wide. I ordered the narrow ones and they are much better. I'll be keeping those and will return the regulars.

Took a couple of days but they are absolutely my favorites. The support is amazing.

A dream come true!

Perfect fit but very uncomfortable. Leather is extremely hard and the edges are very sharp. I like the fit and I trying to make it more comfortable by wearing around the house for several days. I am hoping it will be better. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Perfect and I have worn them for 4 years.

Owned a pair of bricks before these and they are still going strong, but added these to the collection, soft footbed is the way to go! Just enough cushion and so much support where your foot needs it.

I had ordered the regular fit the first time……and they were too big…….so I returned them (with NO problem) and purchased the same size in a NARROW fit………and they fit PERFECT! I still have room to wear a sock if I want to……I’m glad I tried the narrow….

Hubby has a narrow heel and 4e wide foot. Has always had difficulty finding comfortable shoes. He tried his Burks on and didn’t take them off. I think that’s days it all!!

I like the "soft" footbed and I can certainly tell the difference from other styles.
