The leather was too hard and stiff, had to return these. I prefer softer leather shoes.

Unfortunately there is an inner seam to the shoe that hits me right where the arch and heel connect so that these shoes are uncomfortable for walking. Returned.

Need a replacement pair of shoes so I was delighted these came quickly. After many pairs of Easy Spirits and repeated purchases of this style, I was disappointed to find I am unable to put this pair on and walk comfortably. The pair I received was disappointingly short with cramped toe space. I am saddened to think that Easy Spirit shoes can no longer be counted on to be consistantly sized.

Clunky shoes... not bad looking but I can’t wear them long because they are heavy. I did have to go up a half size to accommodate my custom orthopedic inserts, so that could be part of the problem.

I liked the looks of this shoe & ordered it in my usual 6AA size, which was too large overall. The heel was not narrow enough, & my heel slipped with every step. I sent these back & ordered the Saucony Progrid Integrity instead.

This shoe was bulky and just not comfortable.

Love how these look. Exactly what I was looking for however after having them for a little bit, a day came where I was out when it rained. They are not waterproof which I found ridiculous. I ended up with wet socks and pretty upset. For $70, I don't expect leaky shoes. If I knew these did that, I would have kept my old garbage ones that had the souls coming off and also caused wet socks.

With first wearing these felt moderately comfortable, but by the 2nd & 3rd day, of wearing for only a few hours, it felt like I was walking on rocks. Back they go! Zappos service is superior and I love working with the reps. Good folks all!

Cute looking for what they are and comfort was ok but had zero arch support. I could tell before I put it on (looked flat) if you are using your own inserts could be ok but I am perplexed at the reviewers marking this as good support, it is flat inside. Will return.

I would like to give these sneakers 5 stars, but I can't because of the quality of the innersole. It's so thin that the paper stuffed inside the sneaker to help keep its shape actually rippled the innersole. Fortunately, I had a pair of innersoles that I could use in place of the ones that came with the sneaker. They are comfortable sneakers. It's a shame that Easy Spirit is cutting corners on quality, especially on a good product.

I am returning this shoe because it is too wide for my narrow foot and the heel slips up and down when I walk. However, I like the unique way they lace. Shoelaces slide easily through the loops.

While these are comfortable - I use them for working out indoors. I have extra wide feet and they pinch a little in the arch/middle about 15 minutes into my workout with sideways work (ie: I'm not just walking around in them). They also slip a little in the heel.

This shoe is light weight, but has no arch support and is not as padded as I would like. Had to return. If you are someone who can walk barefoot without problems, you may like them.

The heel of this shoe ran bigger than "narrow".

I really liked that this shoe is mostly plain white, with no large logos. It very comfortable except that unfortunately it does not have much arch support. I am returning it.

I've bought these shoes for several years now. They used to be my favorite shoes. They definitely changed the style of this shoe. There is a lot more padding inside the shoe, which is nice, but it makes my feet really hot and sweaty. The tread on the bottom of the shoe was very slippery. I had to scuff up the bottom of the shoes to stop from slipping.

The shoe fit great and was comfortable. I was disappointed that there was no arch support at all. I have to stand on cement all day at work and needed the arch support.

These shoes are pretty, and the extra wide width I needed is fine, but they are not as comfortable to me as others have said. I get a little pain in front where the tongue meets my ankle, and they feel 'mushy' underfoot.

I bought these because I need a narrow shoe, and I thought the price was fair. I think the toe space is far too big. I'm disappointed in this brand for AA fit reasons.

Easy Spirit has given less attention to comfort than previously. This style used to be well built with good interior support. That is now minimal. Difficult to find a good walking/running shoe with good interior support for those of us with wider feet.

Inconsistent sizing? I LOVED my old pair of these shoes from Zappos.com and wore them out. Ordered the identical style/size to replace them, but had to return them as they are too big. The size difference is noticeable just by looking, and they simply will not fit, even with bigger socks. Disappointed to find no other sizes in stock at the time. I saw no other mention of size problems in reviews, so maybe it was just an anomaly. Too bad. Ordered a pair of Fitzwell walking shoes instead, which fit well but aren't quite as classy looking as the Easy Sprit Romy.

Kathy - I like the shoe. But after wearing it for a while, I wish I had gotten a smaller size. And it is too late to return them.
