I have four pairs of these, one in each of the trim colors and an extra. They are extremely comfortable out of the box and this is not an experience I have ever had before with any shoe or sneaker. They are especially nice looking for an Easy Spirit shoe. Not at all a "comfort shoe" look. They are true to size. I usually take a 7 in athletic shoes but took a 6 1/2 (my real size) in these. Extremely padded for the price. I have walked on trails and through the city in these, and worn them all day in complete comfort. I hope Easy Spirit continues to make these shoes exactly the way they are. Sturdy and well-made. Wish they would make the same cut in a fabric sneaker. Thanks, Zappos, for the usual great service!

Very nice shoe, my only oxford brand I can wear. I need wide and remove the insole for orthotics. It fits perfect.

These are excellent sneakers! Immediately comfortable, lightweight, my feet don't get hot in them! I love them! Very true to size. I wear an 8W and these are perfect!

After tendon repair surgery, Easy Spirit EE width shoes are the only shoes I can wear. There is ample padding at the upper edge, so you don't get rubbing. Great shoe, and looks nice with jeans.

I love these shoes! I am on my feet all day at doing A lot of walking. Whereas my feet were throbbing before buying these shoes. I now come home without the pain. I will buy these shoes again and again.

I was so relieved and happy to find a simple, comfortable athletic shoe! The styles and colors I had been seeing in the stores weren't appealing at all. Just too much going on in terms of colors and styling. Neon green and hot pink just aren't for me! I've always had long wear and good fit with Easy Spirit.

I purchased these shoes in September of 2010 for a vacation to Washington DC. They were comfortable from day 1 and didn't require much time to break in (if any). To be honest I've been wearing this pair of shoes every day since I bought them and one just recently got a small tear on the side. I've been really impressed with how well these shoes have held up for me and planning on buying a second pair.

These are the best sneakers ever! I hope they never stop making them. Extremely comfortable and you don't even have to break them in!

I have been searching for that stylish, comfortable athletic shoe for some time now, only to come up with aching feet. These shoes are amazing! My search is over, I love them! I wasn't sure at first because I read some comments about not enough arch support. Well I disagree, these shoes rock!

I normally wear a 5.5, but bought these in a size 6 to accommodate an Arizona brace. The shoe that I wear the brace with feels great (not big or small, just right) and the other side was a half a size bigger than my normal size. I just got some of those Dr. Scholl's memory foam type insoles and now it fits great! I have wider than normal feet, but not wide enough to warrant a wide shoe. These are nice and roomy in the toe box. I only wish they came in some more colors! Will definitely buy these again.

I wear sneakers 90% of the time and I need a good shoe that provides support and is comfortable. This one fits the bill.

I recently had foot surgery (left foot only). These are the first shoes I have been able to wear. They are so comfortable and easy to wear. I will buy another when they have my size and color choice.

This is my 4th pair of the Romy and I have all 3 colors. The 8W is perfect for my painful bunion and the cushioning is unbelievable, like walking on pillows. Even though they are not running shoes they are more comfortable than my Brooks running shoes when I walk and jog around the park. I will definitely keep buying this sneaker so, Easy Spirit, don't even think about discontinuing it, please!

I've had this shoe before and know it fits well, so was pleased to find it on Zappos. Very comfortable and stylish. I can tend to need wide sizes but this fits at the standard size.

I loved these shoes. Bought them in 2008; wore them out 'til they couldn't work anymore! Perfect for wide feet with overpronation.

Great shoe, perfect fit to size. I have duck feet; wide toe and narrow heel but these shoes fit like gloves. Wish they came in tan or gray.

This shoe is true to size, and comfortable enough; but if you need a good arch support do not get this shoe. I had to insert an arch support.

I am very happy with the shoes, Easy Spirit, that I purchased through Zappos. I tried to find this one particular style walking shoe for some time. Fantastic! I found exactly what I wanted, size, style and color. And, most of all I received the walking shoe within the week. Go Zappos!

This is the second pair of Easy Spirit Romy's I've purchased. I really like them.I have some medical problems that affect my feet and these are the best shoes I've found for support and comfort.
