Love these shoes! I read a lot of reviews before buying. My feet had been getting achy after long walks and sometime after waking in the mornings. These have excellent cushioning inside. Feels like walking on air. I got the taupe suede Romy and the color is neutral enough to wear at the park, gym or to run errands. This is my first pair of Easy Spirits...very impressed!

These are the most comfortable shoes that I have owned! Usually wear an 8 1/2, but my foot is wide, and the 8 wide fit perfectly! Love the color and style

I ordered the Red Romy and they were like walking on air from the get go. Very comfortable, light weight and a nice deep red color. I have very wide short feet, and even though these only come in Wide as opposed to Extra Wide, (which I usually need), they are very comfortable. They also feel well constructed overall. It could use a bit more arch support, but I didn't need it. If you have temperamental feet, I recommend these.

The shoes were wonderful but the shoe on right foot felt wonderful but the my left foot is a stinker. I have a toe that is too long and kind of bent sideways somewhat so it didn't seem to have enough room. These darn weird feet are a real pain in the toe. Otherwise they were great shoes and I'm ordering another size up of this shoe.

First of all I must tell you I am extremely happy with my purchase. I would describe these shoes as undercover bedroom shoes! I feel like I am wearing very comfortable bedroom shoes; but no one knows because they are designed to look like real street shoes. Like bedroom shoes they are extremely comfortable but have little arch support. But I can add an insert if I see I need it as I wear these. I normally order a wide width in my shoes. I ordered up one width size higher than usual because of several reviews that said the width was more narrow than width said. I am glad I can wear warm thick socks with these if I desire this winter. I haven't been able to do that with other shoes. But I do not have to wear a thick sock to make these fit. Just a wonderful option that I am very glad to have. They did a great job with the style considering this is really a bedroom shoe in my opinion. A bedroom shoe in disguise! Love them!!!

I usually wear an 11 because i have wide feet and shoe manufacturers don't seem to think women are capable of having wide feet. (look gravity is the enemy, ok, nature adapts) so I ordered an 11 wide expecting to have them just fit like normal. I WAS SO WRONG!. which was nice for a change honestly. They were about a half size too large, I called to have the 11 returned and exchanged. (dealing with Zappos customer service is always a delight) and they immediately sent out the smaller size. Even the 10s are a bit roomy but that is ok, i feel like I'm walking on a cloud. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and standing for even a few minutes can cause a lot of pain. These are wonderful. I highly recommend them if you need support.

I wanted a shoe that doesn't look like an athlete shoe. This fits the bill. After I wear them around the house for a few I may end up sending them back for a half size up - not sure yet. Zappos is a great site to order from - always quick and easy !

It's a winner! I tried 16 pairs of sneakers before finding Romy. By adding an extra insole, the N is perfect for my AAA width. The lacing system allows for a customized fit. I appreciate the roomy toe box, padded collar, and cushioned foot bed. The only thing I'd change is the bone outsole on the red shoe. Gray would look better.

I need a wider toe box - these are great for me. Wide enough but still fashionable- my absolute favorite sneaker!

I buy these shoes like clockwork when my old ones wear down on the heel edges, which they do quickly. But then I walk daily about 3 miles. They are not in style, but they work for my feet extremely well, as I get 1/2 size larger and wider than I used to wear ,since my feet are now flatter and wider as well. It is fault of the shoe design, but my needs. It also allows my orthotics to fit very nicely.

I have several pair of the ROMY and they are a mix of 9W and 9WW. If I am going to wear thicker socks the WW works for me and gives me a little more room in the toe box. This last pair I ordered in the navy suede size 9 W and they feel very good on the feet. My reviews should be read with the understanding that I have odd feet. One is 1/2 size smaller, one has a higher arch and instep and one has toes that splay out like a monkey. Also my toes tip up which causes my big toe nail to hit the tops os shoes and over time that causes ingrown toe nails. All in all I am a mess, but this particular shoe works around most of those issues very nicely. I do remove their insole and replace with my own orthotics. They are roomy but the laces allow me to tighten up so that they work with my smaller foot too. Next time I will probably purchase the taupe. If I had one complaint it would be about their Black version. Take that crappy patent leather off and make this shoe in Black Suede! Please

I have worn this sneaker for years. With my knee problems this is the only shoe I wear anymore, anywhere. I buy a pair whenever they are on sale. Hope Easy Spirit never discontinues them. I do use them with a Dr. Scholl’s 3/4 arch support.

These have always been a very comfortable brand for me. They seem to be a bit wider than other gym shoes. I like them because there white and what I am used to. I know they are not "stylish" but they look good with everything and when you are in your 60's comfort trumps style every time.

Love this style and fit. Very comfortable and attractive. This is like my 4 pair, I wear them until they fall apart then they go to use as yard shoes! So I get full usage.

great shoes, made good, comfort good, style good, overall good...need more available in E2 for circulation to be better.

I wear a size 10B, and I ordered a 10B. They fit well and are very comfortable. The color is beautiful.

I am so excited about these shoes because I have a 4A width and these shoes work and fit great. I normally have to spend $200 for shoes. These shoes look fabulous and I am going to order another pair.

I love these shoes. I bought a full size larger than my normal 9N, and I probably could have gotten a 9.5N, but the 10N's are quite comfortable. It's difficult finding affordable "sneakers." Clarks has stopped making narrows in most models, and New Balance is very inconsistent in its sizes. These are the first pair I've been able to wear out of the box in ages.

Excellent fit, put them on and felt like walking on air!! Perfect fit, Easy Spirit best fitting walking shoes I’ve found!
