I thought the shoe was cute and liked the color. Unfortunately there was no arch support. I suppose the insole could be replaced with a separate orthotic.

The shoes fit well. My foot is somewhat narrow and I find the medium width actually works the best. The shoes are comfortable, but have zero arch support.

Like the look of the shoe and the general comfort. Although I do not like a ton of arch support this shoe has none.

I went with their recommendation of size 7 instead of 7.5 but it was too short. I didn't reorder because it also ran wide so I just returned them.

As another reviewer mentioned, these are not leather. The label may say they are but the shoes smell synthetic all the way. Comfortable but clunky, especially for a petite person

I have purchased this shoe several times, but they have removed all arch support from it. Because of this they are very uncomfortable for someone with a high arch.

Extremely lightweight shoe, no support or cushion, and the pair that was sent to me had been worn before (obviously returned before)dirt in tread and black smudges inside shoes...

Nice shoe, but too tight around the heel - This is a nice shoe, but was too tight around the outside of my heel, causing pain. I will return it shortly.

Nice shoe for a few hours - This shoe is nice to look, nice to wear for a few hours...it is not 'an all day shoe'. I find myself changing to another brand as soon as I get home from work. Definitely not a shoe to wear on unforgiving floors (concrete slab).

Cute and Comfy- These walk/runners don't look as dorky as some of them do (for those of you who care about that sort of thing). Like all Easy Spirit, they are very comfortable. I use a foot pedal when I work and for years I've worn just socks, but with these Romy's- and I'm not kidding- I forget I'm wearing them and just go ahead and work!

they were very heavy. very rigid. It felt like I was wearing the box it came in. similar pair I have now are much lighter and bendable. very disappointed.

Not enough cushioning. Too flat, no arch support. My feet hurt after walking a couple of blocks. Can only wear these in doors. I would’ve returned if I could but after wearing them once, I could not.

The shoe was true to size, however I did not like the construction. Totally disappointed in the very soft sides. This shoe provides little ankle support which I really need. I was surprised by these Easy Spirit gyms as I've bought the brand in the past and was quite satisfied.

the size was fine but they were not as comfortable as the first pair of these i bought. The insole was just flat and thin.

The Romys probably had the support I needed after ankle surgery. My foot, however, is so swollen that the shoe looked ridiculous because the laces had to be so far apart to accommodate the instep. This in a W. The Romys are on the left (good foot) and Asics on the operated foot (right) so the problem I described is not really shown but you can see that the Asics overall have a better shape for me.

I was excited to get this shoe being that it is not a "clunky" looking black sneaker, more slim-lined that New Balance. I have a white pair of Easy Spirit sneakers that look similar to the model shown. They are several years old and lightly used. It has a good arch support so I assumed this black pair would also but it has NO arch support. After wearing them around the house for under 5 minutes to test them out, I will have to unfortunately return them.

I bought these based on the good reviews, bad mistake. These are very uncomfortable. The initial cushion on the inside goes away almost immediately and it's flat and hard. I'm super unhappy that I wasted my money on these shoes.

I am disappointed that these shoes do not have good arch support and the the insole is so thin I had to add a Dr. Scholl's gel insole. my next pair will either be New Balance or Sketchers Shape ups.

not a great shoe if you walk alot- craftmanship is poor- fits poor- I downgraded them to when need an extra pair incase my real shoes get ruined

These are cute walking shoes but they have NO SUPPORT and are the most uncomfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. Going back.

This review is only for the shoes. I ordered narrow width and when I received it - too short but I wasn't sure if I needed a 8 or 8 1/2. ...not really narrow - could pull the laces in too much and that was with inserts .It was too spacious in the vamp /instep. Not really for a narrow foot.

Very comfy, been buying these shoes for years.

My wife's feet are swollen and they seemed to narrow even though they were wide. These are very nice shoes, but we will have to try another size.

Felt very comfortable.

These were a good fit in my usual size. I wanted some basic run-around trainers in a subdued color (tan), not the crazy neon colors. Good value for the money.
