I use these for nursing. I work 12 hour shifts on concrete floors. These are the best shoes I have ever used for my job. Now most nurses in ICU are wearing New Balance shoes. They ought to come out with a "healthcare" model.

Great tennis shoe - I just started back to playing tennis and these shoes have been great. I love New Balance for tennis and running. These shoes are true to size and have great support and cushion. I did not have any issues in "breaking them in" and they don't seem to be as hot as all leather tennis shoes are because of the ventilation mesh on top.

Great for Tennis - New Balance tennis sneakers are the most comfortable I have ever found for my wide (D) feet with a high instep. This style is one of the best ever: not too high cut on the top and good traction on the court.

New Balance 653 Tennis Shoes - Excellent feel and fit. New Balance has always been a reliable brand and you can count on it for comfort and support. They last a long time as well.

New Balance 653 - My doctor recommended a New Balance 600 series shoe to accommodate my orthodics. This shoe provides support and stability. Great walking shoe.

Racquetball sneakers - I am very pleased with Zappos, I never thought that my shoes would come as quickly as they did. I am very impressed with the amount of selection and brands to choose from. Racquetball sneakers are very hard to find in stores and if they are there the colors and selection are very few, esp. for women. Thank you Zappos!!!

Avoid this shoe at all costs! If you are buying shoes for Tennis, this is one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever seen. It’s stiff and tight across the top, and my feet and legs were burning with pain after just one set of play. The shoes made my feet hurt so badly that they still hurt two days later even not wearing these shoes again! I did try walking around in them, and they are only marginally comfortable. They just feel stiff and tight. I have worn other NB tennis shoes in their 800 range that were really nice, but not the 653!

New Balance Tennis Shoes - I cannot tell you the number of tennis shoes I have in my closet waiting to be "broken in" before I wear them on the court. Bad buying decisions. The New Balance I bought from you… I could order in my correct width and size and have them completely comfortable and playable 2 days after I placed the order. This is pure gold for me! WOW! Very nice shoe! Looks and feels good. No one has as comfortable narrow shoes as New Balance and Clarks. These even make my 8.5 sized feet look petite. The most amazing thing is I ordered these shoes last night and they arrived by noon today! Zappos has always had an amazing delivery record, but this time was unbelievable! Zappos is the most convenient, accessible, helpful, and eager to please company on the web. My new favorite athletic shoe! I walk 2-3 miles a day and I wanted to try a different sneaker, other than the running and walking types. This is a great walking shoe! I wear a 10.5 wide, and most sneakers look like boats, but not this one. It is contoured to the shape of my foot, and has ample room in the toe box. Even though it is a "tennis" shoe, it is supportive enough for walking. It was comfortable from day one. Shipping was super fast, and any time I return an order, the refund is courteous and swift. First tennis shoes. I tried others in the store, but finally settled on this. Very comfortable and I love it. Would buy it again.

A great shoe - Fit great and look even better.

Tennis shoes - I am extremely pleased with my shoes. I bought a half size larger than my regular shoe size because I have wide feet and use corrective inner soles to play tennis. The shoes were a little tight the first two times I used them, but after that, they fit like a glove. I was also very pleased with the speedy next day delivery.

Perfect court shoe - I always wear New Balance brand court shoes when playing tennis. I was thrilled to discover that I could order them in my favorite style in a narrow size from Zappos. The 653 style looks sporty, is comfortable, has great tread, and wears well for serious tennis players.

Luv em - After playing for two weeks with no real break-in time, I'm very happy with the support, comfort, and sticky sole. After spraining my ankle twice, traction is really important to me and these feel very secure.

Zappos is the store for all your shoe needs. I must have ordered at least a handful of different styles of shoes before I found the right shoe for me. The funny thing is that I also sent each and every shoe back to Zappos without question or rude remark's from them. When I finally found this New Balance "tennis" shoe I was ecstatic. New Balance's WCT653 - New Balance shoes are the best I’ve found so far for tennis. Good support and long lasting. This is a new style for me so I may have ordered a half size too big.

WCT653 - I have a narrow foot and have been wearing the 652's but since they have been discontinued I had to go with the 653's and found that these shoes are awful. They are too stiff and uncomfortable. I play USTA tennis which has me on the courts at least 10 hours a week. I have been wearing the 653 for 3 weeks now and tonight I give up and will go and try to find another shoe. My right foot goes numb after a while on the court and I feel as though I have 2x4's attached to my feet. I would not recommend these shoes. There are about 10 other women in my tennis community who are trying to wear these shoes and they have the same complaints as I and will give up on New Balance.

They are great! These shoes fit great. I normally wear an AAA width in regular shoes and it is difficult to find tennis shoes that fit good. They are also very comfortable.

A very fine tennis shoe. Looks good. Fits well. Comfortable. New Balance shoes are a good value, especially since you need to replace court shoes so often. My old tennis shoes were also New Balance but my foot grew a half size and I needed to get new shoes. Fit seems true to size and not too tight.

My New New Balance Shoes - These shoes look great and seem pretty comfortable, but I have not worn them out on the court yet. I like to wear new tennis shoes for everyday wear a couple times to get "fitted" into them before playing tennis in them. They are very light weight which I really like. The first time I wore them, I tied the left one too tight which was uncomfortable over the top of my foot, so I'll be careful not to do that next time I wear them. Overall, I think it is a great shoe.

New Balance is a great fitting shoe - I have a wide foot but don't need a wide width shoe and these shoes always fit perfectly!

A little stiff at first wear, but comfortable. They softened up with use, lots of toe room and were long enough to fit my size 11. A very good tennis shoe.

Great shoe - These shoes look great and feel very comfortable. They gave my feet great support on the tennis court. I would certainly buy them again.
