Very solid shoe considering quality vs price. Leather sole w/ Goodyear welting is hard to find at this price. Upper is made of standard grade leather, nothing fancy. Definitely some of my more comfortable dress shoes.

These are great looking shoes. I would buy them again. Currently, I own 7 pairs of Stacy Adams. I will say the one big CON is that they wear out pretty fast. I've only worn my burgundy colored/wine Madisons twice to church and the bottoms looks as if I have worn them 10 times. However, on the other hand, I get compliments every time I wear them.

Great shoe! Stacy Adams is one of the only companies left to offer a variety of spectators, and I get compliments on them all the time.
Hope sometime you make a brown and white version of the Madison. This is the second pair I've bought from you, and I'm very happy with the style and quality.

Would love a pair in Cordovan leather.

Love this shoe. I wear a size 9.5 typically. I have a size 8.5 pair of Madisons and they are still even a but on the long side. It is a good idea to try these on in a store first.

This is a great classic shoe but the problem is that it runs a half size to a full size longer than it says. I would exchange for a half size down but the last time I checked they only have a size 8 as their lowest available size and I wore them around on some non carpeted floors in my house so they are slightly used. I would have to say that when it comes to Madisons you should always size down at least half a size to achieve the perfect fit and you should always have an insole to put in them such as superfeet for maximum support.
