Stacy Adams is a very nice shoe and it has a style to fit any occasion.

Hot Shoes - They're comfy, easy to dance in...and just spiffy! When I wear these shoes, I get no less than 20 compliments on them...

Good for formal wear - They are pretty comfortable for a night out or any formal event. They are good for someone with wider feet.

After reading the other reviews I bought a half size down and it was perfect.

Stacy Adams Madison (White) I love this pair of shoes. Very classic, old style tribute to my grandfather. It makes me proud when I wear them to church on Communion Sundays.

SA--fine shoes - I purchased two pairs of Madison's from Zappos--one in brown and one in a black basket weave. The latter was pinchy on one foot for the first five or six wearings; it's now just fine. Overall, both pairs fit wonderfully (I'm a narrow medium width). Zappos service was, as others have noted, excellent. I live in rural Wisconsin, but I grew up in Chicago and SA was a perennial favorite... With the decline of the US shoe industry, most of what is available in my neighborhood is the thick, molded rubber sole item made somewhere in the 3rd world. I much prefer SA. If you want a thinner (leather) soled dress shoe, I suggest you take a look at SA. The Madison is a conservative, old-school design (and if you are hard core, you can get this in an over the ankle boot, a la 19th C styles). My shoes have worn well, take a polish just fine, and are almost always the only shoe of their kind in a group. If you are more flamboyant, these are available in every color God has dreamed of.

Great customer service - I was pleased the way my buying transaction was handled with courteous and patient service reps at Zappos. The shoes fit fine. I am happy.

More than very helpful - Shoe came in 3 days, size was about 1/2 too large, called them back and they shipped out a smaller size before I shipped the other size back to them which really impressed me. Sales staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely by more shoes from Zappos.

Great Shoes - These shoes are great. They fit true to size. They are quite comfortable. At first upon looking at the shoes they seemed a little narrow, but once I tried them on they fit like a glove. I would buy this brand again but maybe in a different style or color.

This as well as a number of the other classic Stacey Adams shoes are my shoe of choice. In my opinion no other shoe can compare in quality, fit, comfort and styling.

Just what I was looking for - First of all I would like to thank Zappos.com for their excellent customer service and super fast shipping. Stacy Adams Madison (Brown) is exactly what I have been looking for. For many months I have been trying to find just the right brown shoe to go with my clothes. This is it. After receiving this shoe, I feel that I will always have this shoe in brown (who knows maybe in even more colors too). It is very stylish, well detailed, and very versatile. Stacy Adams shoes in general run about 1/2 size large to me and this shoe is a bit on the narrow side. These are very minor complaints and really do not diminish this outstanding overall product at all. In summary, Stacy Adams Madison is a great dress shoe that you can't go wrong with.

SA Madison - I consider this shoe a classic. My foot is a bit narrow and the SA D width fits me fine. Zappo's service is first rate--the upgraded shipping is sweet and made me a repeat customer.

Zappos is the best - Zappos has the best customer service I have ever encountered. My husband has big feet and it took me three orders of shoes before my husband finally found a pair that he loved and were very comfortable. The free shipping and returns were a breeze. For now on, my husband will buy all his shoes from Zappos. The company is pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend it to all. And the shoes arrive the very next day. Unbelievable!

Great job Zappos - This is a great dance shoe! But better yet is the service that I got from Zappos! The original size 12's were at least a size 13. Within 3 days Zappos had size 11s that fit perfectly at my doorstep! Unbeleivably, my best Internet purchase experience ever!

Outstanding - I remember Stacy Adams's back in the 1960's. This is when I was a young man and Stacy Adams was the shoes for Hustlers.
