So comfortable you can sleep in them! The Adidas country style was my husbands favorite shoe style back 25 years ago. He loved them so much he started buying 2 pairs at a time for fear they would stop making them. Soon he could not find them anywhere...that is until this past winter a friend turned my husband onto the Zappos site and when he found them again he was ecstatic!!!He showed me the print out of the site and before he had the chance to order them himself, I surprised him with a pair for his birthday and he flipped out! He said they were just like he remembered them to be and were so comfortable he might even wear them to bed! He is one happy camper!!

Happy - Okay, I'm hooked! I received my adidas country II in just a few days from my order. I will make Zappos my place to shop. This is my first time shopping here and it won't be the last. Thanks Zappos for the speedy delivery

Perfect shoe - I've been looking for a good looking, comfortable "orginals" Adidas shoe for a while, and after trying 2 pairs, this is the best.

Adidas Country IIs are the best! I had a pair of Adidas Countrys when I was about 12 years old, and I wore them until they were completely worn out...they were my favorite shoes EVER. I was so excited to find them again...over 25 years later, so I bought a pair, and they're wonderful. I love them! And thanks, Zappos, for handling the order so quickly and efficiently!

The best shoes in the world - I've been looking for this shoes for decades and here they are. They fit great and I wish I could wear every day. You won't be disapointed.

Looking for the Adidas you had growing up? Had this style of shoe growing up (Adidas Italia) and have been looking for this style for many years. Will definitely be ordering a pair of Adidas Rom in white/red/gum when Zappos gets my size in again. Shoes are just as I remember them. Received them one day earlier than expected. Adidas Country II - I wanted Onitsuka Mexicos, but they were too expensive, so I settled for these... but I'm glad I did cause these shoes look great. Adidas superstars look too ghetto, and these shoes are retro enough without looking like a hipster doofus. However, they can get uncomfortable for long distance walking, maybe I am not used to them yet.

Love it. I finally have found it. I had three pair of these shoes since it came out in the early 70's. Very comfortable, wore it everyday, could it be for running, tennis, basketball and for party. Eddie Murphy has worn it in the movie. I need size 10 or 11. Thanks

GREAT - I have been looking all over my area for this style of adidas with no luck. I'm grad I decided to use the internet search which took me to Zappos.com. It was great doing business with Zappos.

Adidas Country - Great shoe! I've been wearing them since the 70s.

Beautiful shoes with great retro style. The rolled heel is nice for driving and they look great with jeans.

The Shoes - Eh. Zappos - AMAZING! I ordered these shoes at 10:00 last night. They were at my door by 2:00 today! Un-freaking believable! Zappos service is by far the best I have ever experienced. The shoes look great. BUT... their comfort factor is 2 on a scale of 1-10. I ordered them a size larger because I have wide feet, and they're still VERY snug against my toes. After walking a day in them, my feet feel like I've been running barefoot on concrete all day. So, if you want a cool looking pair of shoes that you don't actually have to walk in; these are the shoes for you.

Good Shoes - I am happy overall with these shoes. They hurt my feet a little when I went to work out a day after they arrived, but maybe they need to stretch out a bit still. Just walking around, they're mostly comfortable. I followed the advice of other reviewers and got half a size down, and they fit well.

Adidas Country II - This shoe has had some changes made compared to my previous pairs. The brown color of the sole has been changed and the front toe now has a much larger area covered in a roughed finish leather. Overall the shoe is as good as the others I have owned but the changes, while minor, are very noticeable.

Love the look - I only wear these sneakers--I love them. I am on my 7th pair. Decent price and EXCELLENT customer service by Zappos. Super fast, accurate delivery. I will return as a customer.

Old School- I've been wearing these shoes for about 3 weeks now and very pleased with them. They go good with anything. Are very comfortable with that old school look with some modern features too. Going to be hard to keep clean, but shoes get dirty no matter what you do. I also have a pair of Black with white stripes Adidas gazelles that I have owned since 1998 they are pretty tore up now ha-ha-ha, but they are still comfortable and have a little tread left. Although my dog did eat the back ends off of them about 6 months ago. So now they are more like slide on house shoes. But back on the subject of these Country IIs they are a great shoe for a great price and I highly recommend them.

The Un-clunky sneaker looks sharp - As a teen in the 70's I always wanted Adidas but could only afford the knock-offs (the ones with FOUR stripes). With inflation, it's probably cheaper now than then. You can't beat the look of this thing: for running, get something modern, clunky, and unattractive. This is really comfy but I use it with jeans, etc. since it looks great. A caveat: these run narrow, so you have to get it at least a half-size larger. The all-leather gets a little warm at the end of the day. I also got the Adidas Dragon in nylon, which is a bit cooler and has the same great look (I don't think the country II comes in nylon). The green stripes are not a bright green - more like a dark forest green, which is a nice, grown-up look. I never bought shoes on the web. I had to return them due to the size and exchange for 1/2 larger. Great service all around.

Look good, but not to confortable - I like the look. They are really clean but it tends to hurt the outside of my foot right where my pinky toe starts after I wear them for a while...

They fit smaller marked - Usually size 12 on Adidas shoes are my size. But this sneakers fit kind of tight for some reason...

Nice... But 1/2 size smaller, and a bit narrow if you have wide feet (I don't)

Old Classic - Surprisingly comfortable for a design I last wore more than 20 years ago, when I was a teenager. Actual running shoes have advanced since then, but still a great shoe.

Takes me back to '78! Very close to the original shoe. The leather is not the glove quality I remember, but still very comfortable. The Country II runs a little narrow and if you wear a wide size, you should order a 1/2 size larger. Overall a great shoe.

Country II - A great looking classic. A little narrow fit. Too bad the inside heal and tongue have foam padding instead of the all leather interior of the 70's original.
