The fit was fine, with athletic socks. There was very little cushioning though, and I chose to insert some gel inserts. The most remarkable thing about these shoes are the soles. These UGG Tasman shoes are the only "house" shoes I've ever worn with soles that remain soil-free. We don't wear our outside shoes inside, and our wood, ceramic tile, and vinyl floors remain clean except for dust accumulation. All our house shoes before these UGG Tasman shoes needed their soles cleaned at least once a week. Whatever dust accumulated on the floors stuck to the soles. But not with this UGG Tasman shoe. After seven months, the soles don't need cleaning. I've never seen anything like it. And, the groves in the sole design are wide and not apt to pick up any small debris that might be on the floor.
