So far these shoes are comfortable and do not upset my sensitive foot. I have a bad foot that will not stand for anything but a very well built and supportive arch and heel. These are doing that. The only problem I have with hush puppy shoes is availability. They are not likely to exist much longer unless they change back to allowing local shoe stores and even chain stores to sell their product. I almost refuse to buy a shoe that I can't walk into a store and try on due to my bad foot. And used to be able to go into as many as 5-6 stores locally and find hush puppy shoes. Now I can only order over the internet which is unsatisfactory in most instances for shoes. If hush puppy quits the model I now wear, I will likely never buy another hush puppy shoe as I have no where to walk in and try them on. This one model I can hopefully keep ordering and it will stay the same. Although I have bought two pair recently and they were manufactured in different countries and do not fit exactly the same. They were supposed to be Lunar II, 8.5 extra wide and were marked as such. But one pair was made in Vietnam and the other pair in Cambodia.
Anyway, been wearing hush puppy shoes about as long as I can remember, but unless they become more available, these may be my last.

As I unpacked the shoes, my first thought is oh no, they look too narrow to fit. I slide my feet in and instantly am transported to childhood memories of wearing Hush Puppies, instant comfort. Please get the brown back in stock, these are dreamy. They look good which is amazing since I have a 12 3E size. Also, I have arthritis on the top of my feet making most shoes just completely painful. These are truly wonderful.

These are very nice shoes. I sent mine back because they are a tight slip-on style that squeezed my feet too much. Everyone's foot is different. These will be very nice shoes for many people.

My husband has these shoes in both brown and black for wearing to work, and finds them to be comfortable in an office setting where the floors are cement under carpeting. They look great with casual pants as well as chinos and light wool pants. He has had them for about 6 months and has no complaints, loved the sale price on the second pair, and would purchase again if he needed to! Thanks Zappos! Oh--he has higher arches than average and can sometimes pronate, if that info helps!

Bought these for my husband who stands much of his work day and has a small foot. Not an easy task! As always, Zappos makes finding the right shoe easy; a sincere thank you!! These shoes are very nice looking, hubby said they were comfortable...except difficult to get on without shoe horn and he said there was a seam on the inside heel area which he did not like...returned but have finally settled on a Merrell shoe that looks sportier, but a better fit all around.

I was looking for a slip-on in black as a companion to my NB MWM756, size 12 4E, which is only available in brown. With Zappos usual blinding speed the shoes arrived in one business day. The Hush Puppy is only available in size12 3E, so that's what I got. The shoes are so much longer than the NB's that I can put three fingers behind the heel. And the 3E width is just not enough. Regretfully they are on the way back. I'm trying again with a Dunham.

Zero-G are the comfy Hush Puppies -
These shoes are very comfy. Slightly ugly with their blank top, but they kind of look like boots then your pants hang over them. Zero-G hush puppies feel like sneakers, which I like. Normal hush puppies are OK, but nowhere near as comfy as these.

The size changed and is smaller than my previous order. Last order was in 2019, new order in 2022. The previous shoes were made in China, but the new ones are made in Vietnam. I'm not sure if ordering a larger size would have helped since even the width of the newer shoes was narrower, and I ordered EW Extra Wide.

These felt too tight when I first put them on, and stiff. I have purchased many shoes and boots of this size (10 extra wide) and these are the tightest. I won't be buying them or anything else from Hush Puppies, which was a reliable brand at one time.

The style, materials and construction of this shoe are all excellent. However, for your reviewer in particular, it is still a problem of being able to get my size 15 plus foot into a shoe that has some flexibility with it. I had quite a lot of difficulty getting my foot into the shoe because the top part was just a little bit too high and would not flex enough for my foot to slide into the shoe with ease - and that was even with using a fifteen or so inch steel shoehorn. Once I got my right foot into the shoe, it was still rather on the snug side, not very comfortable at all. The left foot was little better in both aspects.
Perhaps a size 16 (4E) would for me better.
