They are hands down the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn. The leather is soft, and the shoe needs virtually no break in time. They dress up well with a suit and can easily be worn with dressier denim if the occasion calls for it. It's slightly roomier inside than other dress shoes, so you aren't restricted to only thin dress socks. This is great for the fall/winter where you can switch to thicker socks and not worry about the shoes feeling too tight. The shoe isn't nearly as shiny as the pictures make them appear. However, you can definitely break out the shoe polish and buff them to a pretty nice shine if you wanted to. If you're in the market for a comfortable dress shoe that you'll wear regularly and can afford the price, look no further than these Bruno Maglis.

Favorite dress shoes ever - Most days in the office I am b-casual and get by with my Rockports (comfortable, decent looking). But when I travel for client presentations I always wear these shoes. Great looking and super comfortable. If you're going to be doing a ton of walking or be on your feet all day, you may want something with more support, but otherwise fully recommend these. Take care of them and they are worth the price. The leather is soft, have to be careful not to scuff. I wish I could get these in wides in brown.

Most comfortable shoe I own - This is hands down THE most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn. The leather is so soft, and the interior feels like there isn't a single seam at all. Sure, the shoe is expensive, but the quality and comfort will last for years and years if taken care of properly. Like others have said, buy at least a size down from what you normally wear (I wear a 9 or 9.5 typically, and got these in an 8).

Gift for Hubby! I bought these shoes as a gift for my husband, and he absolutely LOVES them. He was able to put them on immediately and wear them all day long without any problems. He states, "They are the most comfortable shoes I own."

Love These Shoes - Second pair of Bruno's and I love them. This shoe has the softest leather I have ever felt on a shoe. Run somewhat large, like all Bruno's. Took no time to break in. A great classy look.

Very comfy, good looking shoe - Needed a high end pair of shoes to go well with formal work suits, etc. I've dreaded formal shoes forever because they were so uncomfortable; however, these babies are like butter. I tried them on compared with some Too Boot NY and Johnston and Murphy shoes and this was a clear cut above in terms of style, comfort, and material/fit. I like the rubber sole and the stretch material does definitely help. I wear a 11.5 Nike running shoe and bought a 10.5 BM.

Listen to the others about sizing! I seldom pay attention to people's comments regarding sizing, but in this case listened. I ordered my typical size 11 and it truly is 1/2 to 1 size larger than marked. I unfortunately will have to send these back. Gotta love the free shipping. I love Zappos. I ordered these at 10 pm eastern and they came the next day!

Comfort - This shoe gets a 10 for comfort where 10 is the best. Looks however is something else and for that I believe it is somewhat priced too high.

Really comfortable dress shoe - My size 13 partner claims these to be the most comfortable dress shoe he's ever worn. Good support, rubber sole, elastic gores all help. The leather is really soft and perhaps a bit too easy to scratch.

Bruno - Beautiful shoe. Wore it to a formal affair right out of the box- danced in comfort (only because I had to). I normally wear a 10 D but bought a 9.5 D as suggested, fit was good.

Comfort - Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have a high arch and this stretches perfectly in movement so there is no stiffness. Like wearing a pair of favorite sneakers that you’re used to. A pleasure to wear in a world where most shoes make one hesitate to wear all day. Honestly I hated shoes prior to this pair-pleasure for your feet are these.

Great comfort - Usually hate wearing dress shoes. Decided to step up and order a fairly expensive shoe for me. I have never owned a more comfortable dress shoe.

Super comfortable from Day One. Order a half-size smaller than you would normally wear. It does not shine as much as I had hoped, but is quietly elegant. Good value for the money.

Order half-size smaller - Exceptional comfort and looks. I usually order 9.5 in B. Magli's, but took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a 9. It fits like a glove. Thanks to the reviewers for saving me the time and trouble of a return had I ordered a 9.5.

Brunomagli's First Pair - This is by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever purchased. The leather is so soft and there is no need to break it in. I have always purchased good leather shoes like Allen Edmonds, but this is by far superior. I did buy it a half size smaller.

Heaven on Earth - I purchased these shoes for use with work. I fly all over the world, so I needed both comfort and style. I got both here! The leather is buttery soft and the look is fantastic. They shine well also. No question, get a half size smaller. I read the reviews and followed that advice and they worked out perfect. Good luck!

Great Shoe, but runs big - I bought these at a dept store and found they run about 1 full size larger. I usually wear a 9.5 I bought and 8.5 and it fits like a glove.

Wow...Quality shoe. The leather is like butter. The stitching is unbelievable. But. I ordered an 11 and it is way too big. I am going to order the 10.5 and see how that feels.

Excellent Shoes!! I originally bought the shoes for my husband because I really liked the style. Little did I know that the shoes were so very comfortable as well. He absolutely loves them.

Classic dress shoe. Excellent quality, no complaints. Perhaps if there was a full leather sole would I rate it as perfect.

Not for daily wear - I bought these shoes 6 months ago. Wear them to work 3-4 days a week. Comfortable, good appearance, etc. The toe and the side have serious scuffs and wear marks from my desk chair. They look horrible. I have switched to a pair of Dr. Martens Brando wing tips (1/3 the price) that are twice as durable and nearly as comfortable. Not impressed with the durability - probably would have been fine for wearing from time to time. Definitely not for someone that is rough on shoes.

First off I would like to say that these shoes are very comfortable for dress shoes. This might also be the downfall of these shoes as well. I actually took these shoes back; after wearing them they cracked so bad. They were still basically new, and they looked absolutely horrible with a suit. They look like crap dress shoes, they looked old and cheap from the cracking. While some people are willing to deal with this, I am not. When I pay this much for shoes I expect them to hold up. I wear my Allen-Edmonds frequently and they have held up very well, although not near as comfortable. So if the cracking of the soft leather is your style, then I would say these are very comfortable shoes. Just letting people know what they are getting when the shoes break in.
