I love these boots! They are so warm and very comfortable. Living in Chicago during the winter can make you feel like you will never be warm again. These boots make being out in the cold much more bearable. I bought my normal size 6 and they fit just fine. It is important to remember that the wool will compact and make more room over time. The otter color is fantastic. I am so happy with my purchase!

This boot is well made, fully lined with sheepskin and fits true to size. I am always a size 5 and the 5 fit perfectly without socks and still fine with thin socks. The boot is lightweight and very flattering.

I was hesitant to buy these boots because of cost. My feet always get cold even in the snow boots I have purchased in the past that were touted to keep my feet warm. I live in the midwest where we get cold and snow for several months and it is so uncomfortable when your feet feel damp and cold all the time. I LOVE these boots! I have worn them many times now taking out our new puppy. I have worn them in snow, below zero temps, wind, slush, etc. and my toes have stayed nice and toasty. Much of the time I'm slipping them on with no socks but they fit well if I put on a slightly heavier wool sock. I would highly recommend. They are worth every penny.

Love this boot! Good traction, warm, not bulky. Perfect for Upstate NY winter. I will be ordering a second color.

Hazelnut it is! Originally ordered these in Otter in a size 7. They were very cute and not bulky looking but the left one was too small. Re-ordered in 7.5. They fit great and were comfortable but the leather was much more grainy, bumpy, and the boots in the larger size were much more bulky looking. Almost too masculine for me. Then, I discovered the Hazelnut. Don't know if it is a new color or just hadn't noticed it before. Just got them and they are beautiful! I was afraid they looked a little pinkish in the photo, but not at all! They are a beautiful carmel color and they are much better looking without the black toe "bumper", that some of the other colors have. Otter is going back. Finally got these after looking at them for 2 or 3 years and couldn't be happier! Had just gotten back from a great snow walk when they came but will try them out tomorrow!

Love these boots. So comfortable right out of the box. So warm with the sheepskin lining. I normally wear a 7, bought a 7 1/2 so I can wear with socks and they're perfect. I only wish they were a little higher up the leg for really deep snow, but hopefully we won't get any! Cute rolled down with leggings or skinny jeans tucked in, or all the way up.

I just ordered these boots and received them in less than 3 days. Zappos is incredible! I put them on in walking the streets of NYC during a hail/ice/rain storm and my feet were comfortable, dry and warm and cozy after walking the wet streets of the theater district for 4 hours. I want these boots in every color now to match my winter wardrobe! I highly recommend these boots and am ready for our ski trip to Mt. Snow!

I purchased these boots for myself after having bought a pair for my daughter. She needed a half size larger than what she typically wears, but mine fit true to size, even with a pair of thin wool socks) These boots are comfy and keep your feet warm and dry. I wore them out during the mid-west blizzard we are having. Absolutely love them, very satisfied.

I was not supposed to open these until Christmas. But I just could not wait! I took advantage of the sale on the Pineneedle green color, and I am so glad I did. These are stunning, very well made boots with a comfortable plush inside. I love wearing them without socks. I bought them because I am going to Germany in January, and having lived there for several years, I know that it gets quite cold. These will be perfect. I will wear them tonight, though, and take advantage of the colder weather here in Arizona, along with that fact that they are green which makes them perfect for Christmas Eve! If you were on the fence at all about purchasing these gorgeous toasty warm boots, take the plunge at any price. You will not be disappointed!

Zappos' next day delivery at this time of year is amazing. That said, these are cute boots. I would definitely order half a size up if you have one foot a little longer than the other. I am trying to decide whether or not to exchange them. The arch seems a little too much towards the front of the boot.

Folks, there's a reason these boots cost this much...they are comfortable, that's why. I must have tried on every winter boot in California (in preparation for a trip to the French Alps in December and moving back east permanently) and every single boot had something wrong -- either they had no support and were thin, or the upper part of the boot was so rigid it dug into my leg. I avoided buying these Uggs because of the price, but they seemed to be the only ones left I hadn't tried. Right out of the box they are comfortable and cushiony. I wear a 8-8.5 in shoes, but got a 9 in these boots because I wear thick socks. That seems to be the right size for me, though I would love to try on a 8.5 if I had time. I think they would be too small with my socks. Anyway, I recommend at least trying these out. I'll update my review after I've tried them out in the snow and mud. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't have to buy another pair of boots for 20 years.

Gahh. I love these boots! Definitely a splurge for myself, but these are well made, warm, comfortable and have great support. Loose enough to wear warm socks with, but not so large I can't go barefoot in them (and do, often). I walk about a mile to my train every day and these are comfy, warm and keep my feet dry. I got them in "Stout Leopard" and they are so cute and stylish! Worth the splurge!

Love these boots! Keep your feet very warm. They do run a little small so I suggest ordering the next size. Most uggs u order a size smaller but not these. Overall I love them and they are worth the money

I purchased these boots (size 8) as a present for my daughter who typically wears a size 8, but has a high instep. After reading all the reviews I questioned whether the size 8 would fit correctly since 60% of reviews claim the fit is true to size and 30% feel they run small. I went to a retailer and tried on my usual size and felt they really were a bit small. I re-ordered a half size bigger and let my daughter pick the best fit for her. She did go with the larger size 8 1/2 because her toes didn't hit the front of the shoe like in the size 8 and there was more instep room.
