Great Shoe - I've been skating with these shoes for about 3 weeks now and all I can say is that they're great. Felt comfortable right out of the box and are holding up well. My only complaint is that I still get the occasional ankle bite with the mid but that's a rider problem not a shoe problem. If you want full protection go with a high top. I'll stick with the mid, plenty of ankle support, great sole, and look good too...old school. Very comfortable.

These are great.. they look kinda old school but they got that new school feel and skateability. The only thing thats kinda rough with em is your flip tricks, but maybe that's just me. If you like old school Vans look, but dont like the thiness of them, then these are the way to go. They are pretty sweet and not too many people have them either. I think they totally rawk! Thick soles, medium tounge, and high top for mass protection. These babies have already saved my ankle from being rolled once so get em.. They're great!

Wow- This shoe is seriously the best shoe made by Jerry Hsu and Osiris. It’s not too grippy and holds up really well. Took a little bit to get used to the highness of the ankle area but overall awesome shoe... will definitely buy another pair...

Good - The shoes are very good for skating. Have good grip, durability, and look great. They break in fast and are comfortable.

Black/white/charcoal - These shoes are great. They felt a little big and they kinda hurt my ankle. But they are excellent skate shoes but they are heavy. Still a good type of shoe.

Great Overall Shoe - This is one of my favorite skate shoes so far. At first, the shoes seem too stiff for a shoe with vulcanized construction, but after a few sessions, the gum rubber soles stick really well and the suede lasts a decent amount of time (unlike Fallen’s and Vans). The insoles go flat pretty quickly and can be uncomfortable after skating a while or bailing out of stair sets. They are a bit heavy, but that's because they are a mid-top. But these shoes have saved my ankles on different occasions. I've gotten compliments on my pair of brown leather chinos. The last pro is that I’ve never had to replace my laces (this is only if you use the lace protectors like they were meant to be used). Overall great shoe.
I'd also recommend:
Fallen Chief, Lakai Koston Select, anything with a vulcanized sole construction.

This is a good buy. It depends on your preferences. If you skate your shoes loose, get them at your regular size. If not, then get a half size smaller. They are kind of hard to put on, but you get used to it. And get new insoles. These insoles aren't that great.

Tough, but lacks padding and sole - I've had this shoe for about 6 months. Heavily skated. The thin sole wore right through the foot I jump off for ollies. The sides held up well, although shaved off a decent amount. Great lookin shoe but definitely has that rubbery vulcanized feel. Gona try another buy next time.

Naturally it’s not going to feel good hittin up big sets because of the vulcanized sole. But as a vulcanized shoe it’s very comfortable and they are durable. I've had mine for quite some time and only the sole at the toe is wearing down.

Osiris Jerry Hsu Chino - Well when I saw them I was totally stoked, I waited about a month to skate them, when I finally did I took them to a loading dock and started skating, they feel good, but if you don’t stick your trick and bail your screwed, no padding in the sole at all, the insoles aren’t that great, so I just put some Nike SB insoles in them, they skated great after that, I’ve been skating them on and off for about 3 months, the sole is wearing a little, but its not that bad, and I’m barely noticing any ripping, this is a good thing when it comes to me because I usually go through shoes in about a month. Nice ankle support, Nice shoes, just make sure if you skate big drops, stairs, etc. have an extra pair of insoles laying around that are still in great shape. Thanks Zappos.com

This shoe looks really good, a little big though. I liked them a lot... till I started skating them. They're very stiff and hard to break in, and after only a week, a hole started forming at the tip of the shoe. It's mainly from flip tricks. They're also very heavy. I could barely land any tricks. I seriously advise you to NOT get this shoe!

Skater - I bought these online at Zappos. I was upset that they don’t have them in 12.5 but like no one does, Zappos is sweet and the shoes are good for skating, takes like 1 session to break in…bottom line AWESOME!

When I got these shoes, I liked them because they looked pretty sick and they are somewhat affordable. They're good for skating, too. But literally 2 weeks after I got them they got a huge hole in the side of them. Then the tread wore out and I didn't even skate that much in them. By the time I was done with them, they were a piece of trash. My advice: don't buy them; they suck.

Good looks-bad for skating. These are some pretty sharp lookin shoes I must say, but if you’re a serious skater, I wouldn’t recommend these shoes. The shoe is very heavy when it comes to skating and this causes more falls for me. Also the tip of the shoe wares out quickly. The shoe makes a pretty big difference in skating because of the weight so I wouldn’t recommend them if your main focus is tricks like three flips and other flip tricks.

Not Happy - My son had these shoes about 3 weeks, while playing basketball yesterday he came down and landed on the heel of this shoe and the entire sole split open in 3 different pieces. Would not recommend this shoe if you are look for durability.
I'd also recommend:
none by Osiris, due to durability
