great shoe I have had my pair for a year now Great fit and feel. Soles have worn out but the uppers are fine (I use them quite a bit) Ordering another one today. Best dress shoe I have ever worn and as long as they make them I will continue to use them.

Are these shoes for men only? I bought a pair of Deer Stags to wear with casual pants to work. It turns out that I bought a mans shoe instead of a ladies shoe. I just liked the way they looked and felt. I didn't tell any of the women i work with that they were mens shoes until i kept getting asked where I got them. Now all the ladies want a pair to go with their khaki pants. They are the best shoe i have ever owned. Extremely comfortable and exceptionally durable.

They're a good shoe for the money - They feel good, but a little tight, although that might be the orthotics that I ware. All in all, I would recommend if the Dr Martens are not available.

Comfortable Shoe - This shoe has a nice fit and it seems to fairly durable. (I've only had the shoe for a couple of weeks). As far as looks, it looks like more expensive shoes on the market. The only drawback I've found is the shoelaces. Purchase a replacement as soon as possible. The shoelaces that come with the shoes are pretty weak and break with a slight pull.

Cheap shoe = cheap shoe - You get what you pay for, and you get a cheap shoe. Feels a bit flimsy but worth the money.

Good start with Zappos - They were a surprise for my husband - first shoes ordered from zappos.com. Very comfortably shoes and they fit exactly.

Great shoes--some caveats. Shoes fit great and look great. A very nice informal design for the workplace or the weekend. The shoelaces are already torn a little through regular use. Otherwise, good stuff.

Great Comfortable Shoes - These are great shoes that feel great the first time you put them on. Would buy another pair and probably will in brown. Only concern is the laces. They may or may not last for me. I am tough on shoes.

I must say that I was a little skeptical about the rave reviews this shoe had received, but I had previously tried 4 other pair and was desperate. I work in a retail setting and am heavy on my feet for more than 8 hours a day. I received the shoes on a Thursday and wore them for a half day on Friday. Saturday I had a full day on my feet and after work attended a concert that was literally standing room only. I was sold! The shoes did their job. I didn't have that tired aching feeling in my legs and back after standing all day in a pair of shoes that didn't do their job. I would like to offer a word of caution to future investors in this shoe. If you are needing a wide shoe purchase this shoe knowing that it runs a narrow even if you have requested a wider width. I have put many hours (at least 300) on these shoes and they are still very noisy on some floorings.

Ahhhh - I'm usually a tough fit, but these shoes fit perfectly, and nary a blister on my first day wearing them. The wide width is wide but not too wide, very comfortable to walk in, well padded. The only minor complaint is with the look, as the tops have small dimples, imperections in the leather, or maybe something crushed them at some point, but it's hardly noticeable. Style-wise they are good for work in an office or for an evening out, and are even ok with jeans! Overall im happy, and Zappos was great: free and prompt order processing and shipping.

Brentwood W (3E) This is NOT a EEE shoe. The box doesn't say EEE anywhere on it. It's a W. It will NOT fit an EEE foot. Buyer beware. Zappos has mis-advertised this - I'm not happy. My rating is not reflective of how this shoe may feel to someone with a W foot.

REDUCED QUALITY - This shoe is not the same as sold a year or two ago. The older style of this shoe had a very different sole which was good and long lasting. This newer version wears out quickly (6 mths) and has a very slick traction unlike the prior version and not as comfortable. I will be looking for something else for daily wear.

Good, but not long lasting - This is my second pair of Deer Stags; the first came to their demise after 8 months - same as these. The sole of the shoe eventually seperates from the leather portion of the shoe; in such a manner that glue will not fix them. Great for walking in and such, but for durability, spend a bit more.
