Color comes off - I like the look and feel of this bag, but with a wallet, glasses case and phone, it becomes hard to zip so that the closure become uneven. Also, I had trouble with the color coming off.

I like the looks of the bag, and how it fits on my shoulder. But with only one zipper, not two as pictured, it's very difficult to access what's inside and not really functional. I would have returned it if I hadn't tossed out the original packaging. I would not recommend this bag to anyone who plans to carry more than a wallet, cell phone and one or two other small items.

I love the look of my new purse, and I love the pockets. I especially love the cell phone pocket! I can find my cell phone instantly every time. The only thing I would change is the straps are round and stiff; I like to put it on my shoulder sometimes, and it doesn't always stay there. If they were flat straps perhaps they'd be better.

I absolutely love this purse! I used it everyday for over two years. It has a convenient pocket for your cell phone, an extra inside zippered pocket to keep everything organized, and yet it's slim and light. I wore out my first one and am getting ready to buy my second one.

This has become my favorite bag. It is beautifully crafted inside and out. The inside has pockets and spaces that make accessing the stuff in the bag really easy. A must have purse!

Love this purse! It is the perfect size and seasonless color. One thing I would change is the zipper. It looks like there is two seperate zippers that join in the center, there is only that goes from one side to the other. This makes getting into it difficult when you are carrying a toddler.

I recently ordered and received the Paulina purse (packaging label was marked 'Paulina') and while the style is essentially the same as pictured above there were some minor differences. The zipper on my Paulina was all silver (not black as pictured). It was unexpected but I decided I liked it as it was more "rocker edgy." There was also only one zipper pull on my Paulina not two as in the photo here. I didn't notice at first but after a day of use it was actually pretty annoying because it order to open or close the purse you had to pull the zipper all the way from one side to the other instead of quickly opening from the middle. Aside from the differences from what is pictured I felt the handle slipped too easily from my shoulder and I disliked that there was not some sort of outside pocket so if I needed to quickly grab my cell phone or drop something in my purse I had to zip all the way open and all the way back. The positives -- it's really a beautiful, elegant and simple purse. I really liked the inside and how well it was organized. I think this purse is a good buy for some, it just didn't fit my requirements.

I have the Paulina in Eggplant and Black - the most classic, wonderful bag I have ever owned! The black one, and all the other colors offered (except the eggplant!) have a zipper that opens both ways which is a great asset! The eggplant requires opening from the bottom side, which is difficult, but still worth it because the bag is such a beauty. Definitely my favorite Hobo bag ever - and I have only carried Hobo brand bags and accessories! A true fan!

Red has two zippers but the black has only one! I ordered both to see which I like better and the two zipper makes a difference to easily grab cell phone otherwise you must keep bag open or keep phone in pocket. The two zipper design is great - perfect size - not too big or small - fits my wallet, makeup bag, hair clips, change purse and cell phone! And zips. Just got so I'll update if anything changes, but I'm super happy right now. Black one is going back! Thanks Zappos.

This a great purse. Just the right size and amount of pockets. The color is great. My only complaint is the straps don't fold down enough when I am opening the purse to get my wallet out. Other than that - I love it!

This is one of the best purses I have ever owned. It is impeccably styled and executed. I love its minimalistic art deco inspired lines, its perfect size and well thought through detailing. It fits my style perfectly. I also got several compliments on it from people whose opinions I value.

This is a fantastic size and shape. I can find everything in the bag without having to use a miner's cap to see. It does not have any ridiculous hardware hanging off of it. Let's face it - my purse is heavy enough without extra tacky chains and hardware.

I love this purse. The color is unique. The weight is perfect because I don't like carrying a saddle bag as a purse. Price was right.

This bag is great. the zipper goes both ways so it opens wide for easy access. And if you need compartments this is the bag for you. Great for organization! The leather is supple and durable yet very attractive. I have black, red and cognac! Love this bag!

Great size - I love this bag's classic look. The size is perfect, and I get a lot of complements. The only issue is that the color didn't wear well in some spots.

I actually did not keep this purse because the handles were shorter than I like and therefore it sat higher under my arm than was comfortable. However, my friend LOVED it and I had her husband give it to her for Christmas. She was thrilled. The size was great and the interior nicely done. Wish it had been a true shoulder bag for me!

The Perfect Purse - I am always looking for a purse that is not too big but has great organization. This purse has it all: A slot for cell phone, three more compartments and a divider in the middle, and on top of that I love the green leather and mauve lining. I would love to have more of these!

Great bag - I love the interior of this bag--lots of dividers with small pockets and zippers and a fun fabric lining.

Hobo Paulina - I really like the look of the bag but it does have size limitations for me. I could use a roomier bag. But it makes me keep the handbag contents very organized. The leather is beautiful.

Comfortable and convenient - This bag is great!! There is a place for everything, it is not bulky, and it is shallow enough that you can find everything easily. I bought this bag intending to use it once in a while when I needed extra space, but it is so convenient that I have started using it all the time.

Another Excellent Hobo Bag - Large enough but not bulky. Like most Hobo Bags it has some organizational pockets which is one reason I bought a second Hobo. Later I found out that they are designed by women which may explain why they are practical as well as great looking.

sleek and professional - I bought this purse to carry to job interviews. This purse is very sophisticated and sleek-looking, and has a lot of space inside, organized with lots of different pockets.

I have this bag in black and all of the leather has cracked and fallen off the handle. Hobo bags don't seem to handle regular wear and tear very well unless you constantly maintain them with leather polish. I have not had this problem with other leather bags such as Kate Spade.

The Paulina bag I received is nice but is not the same as the bag that was shown online. The bag I received had only one zipper pull versus the two pulls shown in the photos. As a result, the bag cannot be opened in the middle. The zipper in the photos was black and the bag I received has a silver zipper that dominates the profile. The zipper does not work as smoothly as on my other Hobo bags. I was looking for a bit more room but will stay with the slightly smaller, similar Hobo bag that I already own.
