Bingo! I am an active guy--a lot of walking and excercise. My feet have given me problems the older I get and these are as good an insert as anything you can get anywhere. They are made of cork and they will take a couple of weeks to break in but when they do you are in for a real foot support treat!

Five Star - When I first received my Arch Supports they didn't appear to be much and I was concerned that they would not give the support I needed. I tried them the day I got them and not gone without them since! For as small as they are, they offer great support and comfort. They even absorb any moisture that may accure after I've worn my work dress shoes for nine plus hours. I am very pleased with them and plan to wear them until they wear out and then purchase some more!

Birkenstock Arch Supports - I bought these supports to replace others that are eight years old. They are the best inserts I have ever used.

Foot Problems - Best over the counter arch support I ever had. Better then some of the custom ones that have been made for me.

I returned the item, because I misunderstood the purpose of it. I was looking for replacements to my Husband's Birkenstock Footbed. These did not fit the purpose.

It works for me - I received my Brikenstock inserts yesterday & put them in my shoes for about 6 hours. I just can't believe that my feet didn't hurt all afternoon or even after I took off my shoes. The only thing is: they cause a slight tingle in the middle of my left foot. I broke my left leg 3 years. ago & walk with a limp & my left heel started to hurt, but No Pain with the Birkenstock inserts. I will now buy Birkenstock shoes & nothing else. WOW, I CAN'T BELIEVE THE PAIN IS GONE!!!

Wow! Purchased these with the hope that they'd make it possible for me to re-align my left leg properly without costly doctor-prescribed insoles. They worked! 'Will still see physician when I can, but now I've got a head start.

No more pain! I suffered from what I thought was plantar fasciitis. I tried everything to get relief from the pain…..cushioned/gel insoles in my shoes, anti-inflammatory medications, ice, stretching exercises, rest, nothing seemed to work. Finally I went to a shoe store specializing in prescription shoes etc. They fixed me up with Birkenstock blue footbeds. My feet felt better immediately, but it took 6 months or more for the pain to go away completely. The foot pain had developed and worsened over the course of about a year, so I guess it took that long to recover from the strain. I have no idea what caused the pain to start in the first place, but I always use the footbeds now, and have not had any pain. The footbeds are really convenient because they can be changed from shoe to shoe. The only drawback is that they really don’t work with a dress shoe that has a narrow sole.

Makes every pair of shoes comfortable! I've had these for about three years and they're still in great shape. I have heel spurs which are very, very painful. These support the arch and cradle the heel so that the spurs don't cause a bit of pain. They're wonderful :)

So many shoes do not have any arch, so these come I handy to put in any shoes. The only downside is they are expensive.

These orthotics have the best arch support of any I've tried, and they are very easy to put into and take out of different pairs of shoes. Unfortunately I have to return them because the surface is very hard -- too hard for my feet after wearing them just for a short time.

I own several types of insoles. The Birks are much like my orthotics except. Slightly wider. As others have mentioned. The upward lip towards the front of foot is uncomfortable in many of my shoes. Strangely enough, in a few of my sneakers it's comfy for 1/2 a day. Then I have to switch insoles.

I fell in love with Birkenstocks, but can not wear them all of the time, so I decided to try the arch supports for my boots and shoes that don't have support in them. They are made like Birkenstocks, the same shape etc. They don't seem to work for me, but I think it may be my foot! One foot feels great, but the other is uncomfortable. It seems as though the support is in the wrong place under my foot. I think if they fit both of my feet they would be wonderful in my boots. It is definitely worth trying if you like Birks!

Great support but have to get used to unique shape - Like regular Birkenstocks, this insole gives great support but may take a little time to get used to after wearing shoes with little arch support.

Birkenstock Blue Footbed Arch Support -Casual! I have recently developed Plantar Fasciitis and I'm trying various things to improve the condition. These supports do seem to help when I'm on my feet and the fit in my shoe very well. I'm not crazy about the blue, which is why I gave look only 2 stars, but the brown wasn't offered, and I wanted these for my sandals. I don't have anything to compare these to yet so I may have rated them higher, had I tried other products. In summary, they are helping and I'd recommend them.

Too wide - This arch support works well in adding extra support in a Birkenstock shoe, if you need it, but doesn't fit very well in many other types of shoes. It does does a good job in the support department, but makes even a birkenstock fit tightly, so it isn't as comfortable as I expected it to be.

For Birkenstock inserts, I expected better, but these aren't bad. They're not nearly as high in the arches as actual Birk shoes, but they're decent, though it may take a few tries to get the sizing correct. I only wish these were full-length rather than half, because the slope from the insert to the front of the shoe isn't the most comfortable and means they only work in really flat shoes. Any kind of heel on the shoe, even just half an inch, puts the slope of the insert higher, which makes for your foot sliding forward when it shouldn't. I kept one pair of these, but ultimately have found Vionic inserts, though less supportive, more usable.

I have problems with shoes because I am older, with arthritis in my feet and ankles and have wide feet with high arch. I have always loved Birkenstock sandals so thought I would try these insoles first. These help but something that covers the full footbed would hopefully work better for my needs. It feels annoying when I walk with these ending in the middle of my foot. It doesn't hurt when I walk, just does not feel right. I will try the Finn Comfort or Naot, maybe that will work better.

I was really disappointed by this item. I love Birkenstocks and wear them all the time. These Arch supports are no where near as comfortable as their shoes are. Had to go back!

Not as great as I had hoped - I have considerable problems with plantar facitis and Birkenstock shoes/sandles are sometimes the only thing I can comfortably wear. I had hoped that these would be more supportive than they are. On the up side they fit in a wide variety of casual shoes so at least I can get a little extra support.

The insole has a ridge running along the outside of the foot that dug into the bone. It fit easily/properly in my running shoe, but the shape was so elevated compared to the front of my foot that it also dug into my arch. Not comfortable at all.

I wanted to ask a question but clicking "ask a question" did not work. These supports seem a good fit for my feet but they keep sliding out the back of my clogs. Does anyone have a way to prevent this?
