AWESOME updated CHUCKS - These ROCK. I have always loved Converse but my feet are small so often they were too narrow and made my feet look TINY. These are very hip, very cool, and very perfect for NOW.

Lovechild of Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell - I love these shoes. I used to wear chucks in high school, but they were always a little too narrow, so my feet kind of bulged off the sides. To get them wide enough I had to buy them too long -- not a good look! But these have a pretty boxy toe and wider middle. They look really cute and make my feet look small. These shoes are basically the love child of the comfortable and soft Chuck Taylor, and the boxy yet stiff Jack Purcell. Adorable!

I love these! I really like the new loose fit--I wasn’t sure what this would mean, and I really don’t have wide feet, so I was kind of confused---but they are great! They look so much "chunkier", because the toe is wider and shaped a little differently. I wouldn't get the regular ones again! They are so CUTE! They rub a little bit on the back of my heel, which is weird, because they are plenty big.

I'm Cool Now!!! My teenagers are pretty much addicted to Chucks but after trying on a pair of traditional ones, I knew my truly square feet would never last a whole day in them. Enter Loose Fit Ox...these shoes are very comfortable (after 14 hours, I did have a bit of tightness at the base of my toes--but I do have square feet) and very cute. My daughter says I have "baby shoes" now and thinks they are precious. All I care about is that I'm cool--even in my 40s. :)

THESE TOTALLY ROCK!! I have been wearing Converse off & on for years, but because I have a wider foot they have always squished my toes a bit too much for my comfort. I saw these and ordered them--now this is the only shoe I wear! They are soooo comfortable, and the extra width makes them look very, very cute too! Even if I didn’t have a wide foot I would still prefer these for the looks alone. Also, the material is very rugged---unlike the canvas on the standard Converse ones, which gets beat up & dirty quickly. I got them in every color, wear them every day, and they still look absolutely brand new...they show no wear whatsoever---seriously! BUY THESE SHOES!! I get people commenting on them every single day. I am going to buy a second pair in each color just in case they stop making these--that way I'll always have them!

The perfect option for wider feet - I have been struggling with the decision to buy classic Chuck's or not for a while because of the narrow fit. After seeing these here at Zappos.com I jumped at the opportunity to get them. They fit great and are very comfortable. I went on the small side first and they ended up being too small and I had to exchange them. The exchange was seamless thanks to the great customer service at this site. I will Zappos.com again without any reservation in the future.

I love these shoes- They are so cute! I didn't realize how wide the toe box would be when I ordered them, but they're even wider and cuter in person. I always had a love for Chucks, but they were never wide enough... until now these are total awesomeness.

Wide-footed kickball players rejoice! Yes! I can finally wear Converse without the pain of a squished pinky toe! I used to wear Cons all the time for years, but eventually had to give them up because they were uncomfortable for my wide feet. These shoes are brilliant! They fit great, and personally I think the rounder toe makes them look more balanced. It seems like there's enough room in the shoe that if I decide to get some fancy insoles, they'd still fit perfectly. Finally, a Converse shoe for those of us with wide feet. Now my hope is that they'll start making this style in some bright colors for summertime.

Better than modern technology, the best is old school- First off let me say that I have been through a ton of sneakers... only to spend tons of $ and spend weeks breaking them in, and some just ended up tossed aside. See, I have high arches, planter fasciitis (heel spurs) on bad days my feet really hurt. And of course my job requires standing for hours on end. So when I say I have been searching for the best sneaker, I really have...pain can really motivate. These shoes never really required a break-in period, the only place that remotely needed it was the top of the back of the heel...which was minimal and took about a week. I love the old school Converse, but could never stand that pointy toe, always made my feet look longer than they already are. These are aesthetically better, the loose fit gives my feet plenty of room to move my toes around and it creates a rounded toe, thus eliminating that pointy toe look. I did remove the insoles, which by the way have no arch support at all, but remember I do have high arches, and I replaced them with my insoles... If you wear orthotics or your have your own insoles that travel from one pair of shoes to another... I have to say the loose fit Converse is great. It will accommodate the insoles with room to spare, so you do not have to worry about a tight fit once you put your insoles in. As for style, well I love the look. Now I understand why Slash has stuck with these for so many years... comfort rules! I love them so much that I bought another pair in brown; I wear the black all the time... to work and on the weekends with jeans and such. So if you need a shoe that doesn't need breaking in, you want true comfort, and you like that toe room, give them a try. Zappos makes it easy, if you’re a woman you just order your true size, if you’re an 8 order an 8... No need to convert from men's sizes... like on the Converse site. (Since these are loose fit, compared to other shoes they are looser, but I put true to size because they are suppose to be looser.) Happy Converse-ing!!!

Awesome Alternative- I love these shoes. I had no problem with the original Chuck fit or look, but just wanted to try something a little different, and these are perfect. I love the original Chucks, but do not care for the way they look when wearing shorts because they make your feet look so long and skinny- I think these look much better when it comes to wearing shorts because of the shape of the toe, and I find them to be quite comfortable. I would definitely buy another pair- I only wish they came in more colors. Zappos service is above and beyond any online shopping experience I have ever had- I had ordered half a size down out of habit like I do with the classic Chucks, and when I realized my mistake and emailed them, they fixed my order for me right away before it was even sent out.

Wide Feet Rejoice! Well it's about time. I stopped wearing Chuck Taylors a couple of years back because they felt like I was walking with water skis strapped to my feet. Having to buy a size up just to get my wide feet into the shoe wasn't working anymore. Now the answer to my problem has come in the form of the Loose Fit Chuck, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Converse and more importantly thank you Zappos for delivering my shoes quickly and without any problems!

Awesome- I am sooo satisfied with these Chucks. Especially since the classic chuck pinches my toes- the loose fit is very comfy. They are cute with everything and make the outfit.

A different Chuck... These "wide-mouth" Chucks rock. They are different enough so that people notice them and they generally aren't at retail, so you should be one of the few with them. I like the idea of the removable insole, so if you want you can replace with an aftermarket insole to give you more support. Overall, two thumbs up on a new take on a classic. Oh by the way, they do not size like regular Chucks, so order your regular shoe size. No need to size down (experience was my best teacher- thank-you for your prompt support and shipping Zappos!).

Great Shoe- This shoe works great for me. I wear an AFO in one shoe, and having a removable insole is very helpful. They are comfortable and roomy in the toe area. They look really wide but they fit well.

Great converse for wide feet - I have always wanted to have my very own pair of Converse, but I have wide feet and Converse are normally on the narrow side. This shoe solves this problem. For the first time in my life I can wear Converse and not look like the shoe is about to explode.

I love it... I've always loved Chuck Taylors, and these new Ox's are awesome cause they’re comfy and are wide. I have wide feet so it fits me perfectly. All I’m waiting for now are other designs and colors.

Bugs Bunny Feet - Okay, that's what my husband calls them...these are great shoes, comfy kicks! People will comment on them and when they do they always have a smile on their face. One thing though- make sure you place the "tongue" where it feels best before lacing. I am in the way over 40 gang, but I still wear jeans & tees. I have orthotics and they fit perfectly! Thanks for making me feel young & fun again!!

Great shoes - The shoes were pretty comfortable - different look than the regular ALL STARS but I appreciated the larger toe box. Very cute with jeans.

Great! A few years ago I had to stop wearing Converse & Dr Martens because of my very flat & wide feet. Now Converse has figured out that there are people over the age of 25 who would still like to wear All Stars. Thank the good lord. These shoes have a wide toe box, & better insole than regular Chucks. No arch support though but the original ones don't either. I wouldn't work all day or go jogging in them, but there perfect for just bumming around town. I hope Converse keeps making these for ever. If you have wide feet, wear insoles, or need some Chucks that won’t hurt your back after two hours then I recommend these.

Converse All Star Loose Fit - I absolutely love this shoe! I am so excited Converse finally made some Chucks for people who have wide feet like myself. In the regular type I always had trouble finding the right fit. I really like the squarish toe section my toes have room to wiggle! I'm am so tempted in purchasing all the colors:)...

Chameleon Cons - The charcoal Cons really do look like a different color depending on the light. In florescent they look grey, in the sun they look brownish purple. That said I like them and they do run big...I got a 6.5 the last time I bought Cons but there aren’t half sizes so I got a 6 and they fit as well as the 6.5

Love them! I absolutely love these sneakers. I have very wide feet and they are so comfortable - plus the style is great. They do look different than the regular Chucks, but very cool anyway. I'm very happy with them because I used to buy the regular Chucks in spite of their narrowness and suffer a bit with them! These have a very cool look and are comfy.

I love these shoes - These shoes are great! I have been wearing regular Chucks for years, but these are even better. The round toe is awesome-I can wiggle my toes, now. They look just like the baby Converse do (on my small feet, anyway) which I think is cool.
