Good tough shoe. I found this shoe by accident. My unusual size (7.5 ee) and a tough supination problem make it hard to find a pair of shoes. I usually bought NB Walkers but in recent months they have changed all style numbers and the true size is not attainable.

AGAIN! I'm a firefighter & need a fair-priced uniform style shoe that takes tons of abuse. I'm on my 3rd pair of these, and LOVE them. (But then I bought them on sale.) The shoe started fairly stiff but was broken in within a month, wearing them 3 days a week all day. The new one has a non-slip sole instead of the Vibram mine had, but the new sole looks as durable. The cushioned edge keeps your foot comfortable. My only complaint is how warm they can get in warm weather, but thats what happens to any black shoe. But compared to the other shoes I've worn, this is a good, solid, reasonably priced work shoe.

My new Sketchers - These shoes are excellent. The size is correct and they are very comfortable. I am very pleased. Thanks Zappos, you shipped quick and have performed to all my expectations.

Great work shoes. I'm on my feet for extended amounts of time at my job and these shoes are great at keeping my feet comfortable. At the end of the day, my feet are no where near as tired as when I used to wear my previous pair of work shoes, which were a generic brand. The slip resistance works well too.

Great work shoe - This is a really good shoe for those in the restaurant industry, like myself. As a General Manager, I'm on my feet 10 hours a day in all parts of the restaurant. The shoe is comfortable to wear for long periods of time and is very slip resistant, which was the main feature I was looking for. The best part was the SHIPPING! Outstanding service from Zappos.com. I ordered it with the free shipping option, which should have been 3-5 business days. My order was placed on a Wednesday evening, around 7pm my time. I got an email later that night saying my order was ready ahead of schedule, and to expect it early, for no additional charge...much to my surprise, it was at my door THURSDAY NIGHT! 24 hours later, for no extra charge is AWESOME!

Fit great, look ok, fell apart after only a few months. Sole started to detach from the shoe after only a few months of daily wore. Hot glue solved the problem and limped them along for a month longer.

Good Shoe, very sturdy, very comfortable. Downside, this shoe is a heavy shoe.

Good product with good slip resistant sole. The total price for the shoe including both delivery charge & Import fee to Canada was still cheaper then at a retail store. Zappos provided excellent service.

Love 'em - Please don't ever discontinue these shoes.

Nice Shoe, Great Service - I wore these shoes to work in a department store; at first they seemed a little uncomfortable, but as soon as they wore in, they were excellent. After about 3 months, the seam next to the tongue detached from the shoe, even though the shoes were still in very good condition! Hopefully I'll have better luck, but if I just had a bad pair, these are great shoes!

Good shoes - Good quality shoes ... they both needed inner soles because they didn't have a lot of cushioning and the bottom of the shoe was a little weird. But overall, very happy. Would recommend them to anyone.

Comfortable after break-in, but doesn't last long - I'm on my second pair of these, and about ready to move on to my third. Many of the other reviews of these shoes have been from people using them as work shoes. I use them as my every-days -- they're plain enough to get away with as nice-ish black shoes, but nice enough to get away with as plain-ish dress shoes. They are quite uncomfortable before break-in, but quite comfortable afterwards. I really, really like these shoes, but they have several significant annoyances. The waxy finish is not durable. After a few months, it will get scratched, torn up, and start looking generally shoddy. If you're using these as work shoes, that's not so bad, but if you or anyone else cares about them looking nice...you might want to look elsewhere. The laces constantly come untied and the ends fray within four or five months. Finally, you need to be gentle with the back collar. Take the time to untie the shoes and remove them properly. On my first pair, I was just slipping my feet out at the end of the day, which eventually caused the collar in the back to split, which was ugly and uncomfortable. Despite the problems, I like these shoes...but they are definitely a disposable item. I got about nine months out of my first pair, and expect no more than six out of my second, as I do a lot more walking/biking than I did on the first pair.

Great shoes! I am surprised by these shoes because like everybody in the hospitality business, I put in long hours everyday. The only downside I think is that they don't last long for me because of the way I step.

My husband like these shoes but they keep coming apart at the toe and they also rips on the sides of the shoes.

I bought these shoes for my son for Christmas last year and he loved them. Unfortunately, the tops started peeling in about 2 months. He has had Skechers before and loved them so we are very disappointed. I contacted Skechers and they sent me a 15% off coupon with no apology, explanation or anything. Their price, minus the discount, plus shipping was still higher than Zappos. I don't know if they were a lemon pair or not but I see that some people had the same problem but others did not. I'm not sure if I want to try another pair. My son still wears them because they are very comfortable but look terrible.

Heavy and lacking durability - I bought these shoes to wear to work. I wore them everyday and they still took over a month to wear in. I went through two boxes of bandaids for all of the blisters I was getting. Also, they are extremely heavy. After about 5 months of wear the leather outer began to peal and blister. I am looking for something else.

Looks good but falls apart. These shoes looked great and had a super comfortable fit when I bought them. But they fell apart pretty quick under moderate wear. The interior of the heel came apart after only a couple months. Parts of stitching on the sides came next, and finally the sole began to crack. All of this within eight months. I replaced them with a different brand.

Not for servers! These Skechers did not hold up serving for about 2 months. Leather uppers cracked in many places... not a good choice for people in active jobs that require a lot of steps every day! Side note: Zappos service awesome as always!

Garbage. I bought these for my husband to work in. He said they were comfortable, but the soles on both bottoms started coming loose after 3 months.

Wow, what a poor product. These shoes lasted me 2 months. I actually wanted to trash them in the first week because the are no better than garbage. I work in a busy restaurant and they are not supportive at all. They aren't made of true leather either. I scuffed the toe part of the shoe and discovered that the shoe is comprised of layers of cloth. Can't polish cloth! Don't buy these shoes.

Fell apart after 2 months - This shoe literally fell apart after 2 months. Save your money and buy a different brand.

Skechers' Harvard - Can't do any better anywhere for the money. The shoe is practical and looks good. I'm on my feet for 10 hours - 6 days a week. I alternate shoes daily. I think the Skechers will be useful. I wish they were a little more flexible - but I'm very grateful for the extra-wide size.
