Customer Reviews New Balance Classics M801 Clog

Being that I'm reaching the "geezer" age (70) I couldn't see myself with shorts, black ankle socks and leather shoes like the dudes around me! So to keep some of the "coolness" about me, I ordered the New Balance clogs and, wow, I'm pleased with: true to size, comfort, and style. From around the house, walking the dogs and any errands I need I think they're great! I will buy the grey and hope they'll offer white for the summer. Shopping here at Zappos was a pleasure. Easy, quick, fair price and most courteous staff! (Will shop here again.)

I have had a pair of these in gray for years and finally decided to replace them. After ordering and returning two pairs of the women's shoes for not fitting quite right, I decided to go with an equivalent size in the men's shoes and was much happier. They look like the pair that I am replacing and are much more comfortable than the women's version.

What a great shoe! I'm a chef, on my feet for hours all day and night. These shoes are so comfortable, I'm getting a second pair! Great arch support and cushioned heel.

Great Shoe - This shoe is very comfortable. The wide width was a great fit. Clogs are very hard to find for men. So it was nice to come across these.

Amazingly comfortable shoes! NB shoes have been getting smaller and smaller, and the 4E sneakers don't fit me well anymore. But these clog sneakers are made of a stretchy microfiber material which allows my foot to fit in the shoe comfortably. Perfect! Also I have very high arches and these shoes have excellent arch support! I love these so much that I bought a 2nd pair!

Ordering my second pair tonight, my first was 11 months ago. Bought these for comfort at work, my answer to their "no open-toed" shoe policy, and these inky old shoes still deliver after four 10-12 hour shifts per week, on my feet the whole time. They could still work okay for a while too, it's just time for something fresh. And the insides, while worn at heel and ball, are still intact and comfortable. Fit: I prefer an 11 1/2 when I can get it, my 609's are 11 1/2 and perfect. I got the 12 in these after trying 11 and 12. But for some reason I still step on the backs, to the point they're walked down and busted. I manage to accidentally step out of one almost once a night while doing my thing, others may not have this problem since my feet are extremely narrow with very high arches. When this happens, stepping down hard with your heel onto the back will hurt a good bit until they're broken in and fold down easier. Both of these concerns are easily outweighed by the shoes' overall comfort. Re-upping now.

I always have two pairs of these comfortable shoes: one as indoor slippers since I need the arch support for my feet due to plantar fasciitis and one for outdoor shoes. So comfortable, durable, and long lasting.

I got these as slippers/house shoes. I cannot wear traditional slippers as I have been suffering from plantar fascia and a wicked heel spur for almost a year now. These have firm supportive cushioning and a solid traction. I originally ordered a size 11, I think my foot is a true 11, anyway there is not a millimeter to spare so I exchanged them for an 11.5. Opt for a half size larger and you will have the room to put in an orthotic or insole of your own or at least wear thick socks. All in all I find myself leaving the house in these. I love 'em.

These are the first clogs I\\\'ve ever had that had great arch support, fit perfectly, look good and stay on without much clog flap. Love them and am getting another pair.

Great comfortable slip on sneaker, perfect for going out real quick and will protect your feet better than open toe slides or flip flops!

Now here's a gift any guy will love! Unsure if my husband would enjoy a slip on sneaker, I gambled and gave this to him as a gift. He had always worn lace ups, and I knew he loved New Balance shoes. Now, these are all he ever wears unless he plays on the court. So comfortable and easy to slip on!

I've never worn clogs before. They went on sale, and I finally took the plunge. I should have bought these shoes years ago! Wow! You won't believe how comfortable they are. After wearing my normal leather oxfords 9-5, I slip these on and they're like a soothing, cushion glove. Very relaxing and a joy to wear. I have short, fat, wide feet. So I've been a long, faithful customer of New Balance. The styling is really cool and unique. But the comfort is the trump card. Quick, order a pair now before they quit making them. That's what I'm gonna do.

Great shoe! All around. Slip them on and shoot some baskets, take the garbage out, shovel snow, go to the beach. Love these kicks!

Comfy, light and stylish. Definitely an upgrade from my other slip-ons. Awesome on the plane, great at work. I'd buy them again if I wear them out.

I have a very hard time finding shoes comfortable to wear all day. These are the ones! The arch support is fantastic. The elastic on top keeps them comfortable even when my feet swell during the day. My only wish would be to have them in a less sneaker like style for my business casual office.

I wanted something more durable for those quick trips to the store. This is my first clog and they are comfortable and fit my wide feet. Zappos is the best at providing great products and super customer service. Thank you!

Really like these! Started wearing them right out of the box and they are very comfortable.

I just got my first pair. I slipped off my Birkenstocks, slipped these on and went "Aaaah!" Great comfort and fit.

I bought these when the where not considered classics. I still have them and I still wear them every day. They are definitely worn but still fit and feel great. I have of course changed the sole liner a few times but that's not unexpected with wear and tear I have put them through over the years. The 801s are by far my favorite shoe and I am extremely glad they brought them back as "classics.".

These were comfortable right out of the box. I can walk in them all day and I love the easy on/off style. The footbed is firm but not hard. I wish they came in a narrower width, but glad that this width fits well enough.

I bought these for my dad, who typically wears the size I purchased. The shoes were not wide enough. My brother said he would buy them so I wouldn't need to return them and they were not wide enough for him either.

Really nice shoe. like grey better so kept 2 pairs of grey and one black. Thank you for providing such good shoes for a great price.

My husband says, light as a feather, feels no restriction on the top (something he often finds uncomfortable). His foot slips in and out of the shoe the way his thongs do, but ends up back where it belongs. He got the extra wide to accommodate socks and says that the wide may have been a better choice but, as a teacher, he spends all day on his feet so this gives his toes a little wiggle room. The shoes are brand new, so it is impossible to say how well they will wear but he said they feel like he is wearing nothing on his feet.

I bought this shoe for my high school son for the summer. He loves them. I also am on my second pair. I have the women's tan/brown, which I have received many compliments on. It's the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. It can be worn with or without sox. If it wasn't for the snow, I'd wear them year round!
