Daily office shoe, loose fit but not too big, good for wide feet. With a regular 45 hour work week will hold up about 18 months before needed replacement. Have bought 2 pairs now as they wore out, and one pair of the model before these before that (when they were less money). Unglamorous, comfortable (office) work horse shoe.

Shoes are very comfortable! However, like previours posts, if you're ordering wide width, they run a full size smaller! Zappos did an excellent job handling my multiple returns (first time returning) as I stepped down a half size at a time before getting the correct fit (11-10). One bothersome thing, the tongue on the shoe is a little long causing pressure against the top side of the foot (where foot and ankle meet). Totally impressed with Zappos service and have ordered for my daughter as well.

Heard about Zappos on Leo Laporte The Tech Guy (tech podcast) a while back but didn't check it out until I read about Zappos in a Marketing textbook. I decided to give it a try due to the commitment to service and it's all online. I liked the style and it was priced reasonably. Most of the other reviews said that it is wide enough so I gave it a try even though I normally wear 3E or 4E shoe. I was hoping that the return/exchange will be a non-issue in case it did not fit right. The purchase process was pretty streamlined and I had no issue completing the order. It was no different than other online retailers as most of my purchases online. The package arrived in pretty good condition with clear instruction on how to "try on" the shoe. The shoe itself was shiny and in pristine condition. I'm new to lace-less shoe, but am now loving it. The initial fit was a little tight, but it has now stretched out comfortably. The gel pad in the heel felt weird at first because it stands out so much tactilely. I also find that my metatarsus are more sore using this shoe than on my old shoe (Merrell). I'm not sure if it has to do with thickness of the sole or if it is not providing me the right support. It is not so bad now, but is still noticeable. I think I need an insert. Overall, I think this is a good pair of shoes for the money. I like having a shoe I can slip on quickly and the style works for business casual dress code. I actually keep this shoe at work so I can bike to work and just slip it on during business hour.

This is a very heavy shoe. I have had multiple pairs of the Dockers proposal shoe over the past decade. This version is much heavier than previous versions and so I'm returning it.

Got 10.5 Medium width which is my husband's size across Dockers and all other brands. But this one was too big. I recommend sizing down a half to a full size.

The shoe felt a half size larger but more importantly the ridge around the ankle rubbed on the inside of both shoes. I'm sure if I wear them for any period of time they would have become both too loose and given me blisters where they rub the inside of the ankle. They are nice looking shoes and appear to be well made.

Dunham, Dockers is also a fine brand just not this shoe for me.

The fit is good but, I was a little disappointed with the leather finish/appearance. Supposed to be real leather uppers and they probably are, but the glossy finish strikes me as "pleather like", just a little too shinny--you know the look; maybe it will wear off.

They were tough too put on. They’re very made of hard material. It was bothering my ankles a lot. I wouldn’t take the risk to try and break them in. If the shoes don’t feel comfortable on the first try, that’s usually a sign for me.

I've always been a big fan of Dockers shoes, but these were a disappointment. They do look great, but they offer no support to the ball of the feet. This combined with a noticeable angle forward (low front, tall heel) caused me some pain that went away when I stopped wearing them and came back when I wore them once more.

These shoes lasted me about 6-7 months before they started to crack and lose some stitching. Overall, they were very comfortable and looked nice for an everyday style to work. Just didn't last long enough for someone who walks quite a bit at work. Probably won't buy these again.

I've had 5 pairs over the last 10 years. The quality seems to go down with each pair. The first two had fiberglass shanks (so they were great for going through airport security, which is why I bought them). They no longer have fiberglass shanks. They were oringablly all leather in the front of the shoe. Now, they are only leather on the top of the shoe. The last pair that I bought, the gel pad that goes under the heal, was not centered properly and caused it to be very uncomfortable until they were more than broken in. By the time they were broken in, the plastic leather material underneath the leather tops had started cracking. The first two pairs of shoes were marvelous. The soles of the shoes actually wore out before the leather. I wish that were the case, but the quality has gone down. I keep buying them because I sincerely hope that I may get a pair that I loved as much as the first two pair.

Nice comfortable slip on. Appropriate for the office and looks good with jeans. Sole wore rather quickly though, and lasted about a year before there was a hole straight through the bottom.

Bought these to replace a pair of black Sketches dress shoes that are no longer available. Although the price was a good value, they could use more padding in the heel of the shoe. Hopefully they wear well for months to come.

These are good for the price. The build, comfort and quality are clearly not the same as Ecco and similar brands. The shoe opening is a bit too small so the top of the shoe hits the lower shin.

Purchasing my third pair today. One pair wore like iron and I enjoyed them for over a year. Next pair lasted a few months. Hope the next is better as I really like these shoes.

These were a tad large; I wear between a 8.5 and 9 and the 9 was definitely too big. I decided not to try the 8.5 because the padding on the back lip of the shoe was rubbing my ankle around my achilles tendon. Seemed like it would be annoying even if the shoes were the right size. Trying another slip on style now.

Great looking shoe. The problem with this shoe is a gel pad in the middle of the heel. It concentrates weight in the center of the heel. I found it quite painful. Replacing the insole resulted in a very comfortable and stylish shoe.

Good comfortable shoes. I've owned two pairs. They have a flaw though, which many shoes have too nowadays: the outer sole is a kind of rubber that wears off quickly. After about a year of light usage, the sole becomes so worn that water can come thru. Not good. Maybe the type or material they use for the outer sole is too soft. And the worst is that my shoe repair guy refused to fix them he said these type of integrated, rubber soles cannot be fixed. So I have had to throw away two pretty good pairs of nice, very-little-used shoes just because of a hole in the sole.

I've owned several pairs over the years in brown as well as black. It looks great and feels great. My most recent pairs I purchased from Zappos. One in brown and one in black. After about 6 months of use, the black gel inside the sole of the right shoe(which makes these shoes so comfortable) started to seep in through the label that is on the bed of the sole. I contacted Zappos and a new pair of shoes was on the way within days. Couldn't be more pleased with the super speedy replacement.

I liked the fit and styling. Unfortunately, the thread started fraying after a few months and made the show look much worse.

I liked these shoes, I really did. For the price, they fit well, the material was pretty durable. Having said that, there was one issue: for shoes in this price range, they didn't quite last as long as previous ones have led me to expect. It's possibly a very unique experience, but the rubber sole has holes after 4 months of use. The insole is very smooth and soft, and the gel at the heel is very comforting. Don't let my experience sour you on this purchase; I would buy this brand again.
