Clunky at first, but comfortable - This shoe weighs an absolute ton and feels really clunky when you first put it on. They really weigh your feet down, which can be a drag if you spend a lot of time walking around during the day. If you drive a car with a manual transmission, you really have to get used to wearing these shoes when driving as they provide absolutely no feel through the soles of your feet. Heel & toe downshifting is iffy, too, because you can't really tell how much of the ball of your foot is on the brake pedal. The gel padding in the heel pad is a bit squidgy at first and the feeling of your foot squirming around on it is unsettling at first, but is very comfortable once you get used to it.

Excellent dress/casual work shoe - I've been very happy with this shoe as an everyday shoe for a dress/casual office environment. Very comfortable from the first day with no break in period. It is stylish looking but still conservative enough to wear with office attire. Very good value for the price.

Top is comfortable, but soles are like concrete: very hard. I'll be returning these.

These were great shoes for a while but the leather cracked after about a year of moderate use. I only wear them to the office and not every day. I was a little disappointed in the leather quality.

Even though my feet have a normal arch, for some reason they put a little more pressure on the heel than usual. With that said even with the gel backing they were not all that comfortable and to make matters worse the gel backing came off after only 3 months making them totally unwearable. The style is pretty decent but in my opinion buy only if you have no foot issues at all.

You get what you pay for. The shoes are okay for indoors. I will not recommend for constant activity in outdoors for the materials do not appear it will last a year if you use it for outdoors often.

Right heel - I really wanted to like the shoes but I sent the first pair back because it felt like I was stepping on a skinny pencil running across the width of the right heel. I kept the second pair because I needed them for a function, even though in the same heel area it feels like I am standing on loose change. Someone needs to alert Dockers.

Beautiful shoe, somewhat comfortable - For a daily office shoe these are great. If your job has you on the move all day, the heel padding is a bit narrow and creates pressure points on the outer edge of the heel. There is a fleece like insole/toe liner that took some getting used to, but it seems to keep the foot from slipping inside the shoe..

Good shoe overall just fit big. Ordered my size and it felt bigger making it uncomfortable to wear.

I’ve ordered this shoe several times over the years because of its style, comfort, and durability. However, I’ve ordered my last pair because the soles have fallen apart in 6 months of wear. In the past, I would have gotten several years of use from them when in regular rotation, but my most recent pair developed a hole in the sole of one shoe after somewhat moderate wear. It’s too bad, as I really liked this shoe.

I thought these shoes were extremely uncomfortable. I bought both the brown shoe and the black shoe and both were very uncomfortable in the heel. They were so hard when you stood them that I decided to return both pairs. They look great and were true to fit but not comfortable at all. I recommend finding something else.

got these a few weeks ago but had to send back. I'm a size 12 and let's just say they were not very snug. had a little too much wiggle room - feet sliding slightly every time I stepped. The right shoe felt as though it had some interior padding missing at different spots and also kept coming off my heel which then scraped against my achiles every time I came back down. maybe just a defective pair but going to spend the money on a nicer manufacturer next time.

These shoes were very uncomfortable. The heel felt high and the arch support was stiff.

Started getting loose threads after 1 month. I sit at a desk 5 days a week all day. And I don't even wear these shoes every day. I would not purchase these shoes again.

Identical shoes and size from 3 1/2 years ago fit perfectly. These are much too long. Inconsistent sizing amongst shoe manufacturers is bad enough but when single brands can't even keep it consistent, time to go back to brick and mortar.

Were pretty uncomfortable (mostly at the toes) for the first few weeks. After wearing them about 3 months at work, the black plastic outer coating started peeling off. Had to replace because I work in an office. I thought since they were a little pricey they would last longer than 3 months.

Most uncomfortable shoe I've ever tried on. What is the thing on the inside of the heel? If that's supposed to make the shoes more comfortable, major fail. Like walking on a block of wood.

Basically, these shoes began to fall apart within 6 months of me receiving them. At this point the leather has cracked and fallen off the shoe on the outer area next to the ball of my foot where the shoe would naturally bend when you take a step. I wear these to an office job where I essentially sit all day. Pass on these if you want something that will last more than 6 months without falling apart.

Disappointed. I have been buying these shoes for many years and they have gone far enough downhill that I am not buying another pair. I wear them every day to work during the week. The soles on the last three pairs have fallen apart. On previous pairs that never happened. The other problem that I am having is that the gel pouch for my heel is actually causing my left heel to pitch to the side and wear out the back right side of the shoe and this has happened on the last two pairs. The gel makes them incredibly comfortable but it wasn't until the Christmas break when I didn't work for two weeks that I noticed the problem. When I put the left shoe on after the break I couldn't help but notice that my heel was shifted to the side. I put on a pair of my other dress shoes and didn't have the problem. Later that day I checked 4 other pairs of dress shoes and did not feel that shift to the side. I put the Dockers back on a did. That's it. I don't want to hurt my ankle somehow while walking on a sidewalk crack or uneven surface. The same thing happened with my last pair but I thought it was just a fluke. A few years ago, I would wear this brand and style of shoes until the finish had worn out and they looked well used. Lately they don't last long enough to reach that point.

These are the worst pair of shoes I have ever bought! After only a month or so and only wear them 2 or 3 days a week. The bottoms have almost no tread and have soft spots. Also the sides are separating from the sole. Will not buy another pair.

I had bought a pair of these shoes through Kohls a few years ago and was impressed with how long they lasted. Unfortunately Kohls doesn't stock wide sizes so I order them through Zappos in wide. Somehow these shoes only had a few strips of leather, the majority of the shoe is vinyl. The rubber hell split and the base of the shoe at the heel started to separate. I normally own a pair of black and a pair of brown shoes for work so these really fell apart in 6 months of daily use. These shoes were so poorly made with such poor materials as to make me wonder if Zappos got a bath of knockoffs. These were worse than something you would get at Walmart for less.

I purchased one and the exact same thing happened to me that was mentioned on here already. The leather started tearing away from the heal area. Zappos replaced it, like a champ. Same thing happened again in only three months. Contacted Zappos, and they are issuing a refund. Nice shoes, just very poorly made.
