My husband loves these shoes and said they were even more comfortable than the Johnston and Murphys we tried as well and he loved Johnston and Murphy! Personally, I thought they were better looking too. Great shoes!

The shoes are great and very comfortable. What is really more amazing is Zappos Customer Service! I initially ordered the wide width and when I received the shoes they were too loose. So I called and the service was outstanding! They credited me for my express shipping and shipped out another pair overnight because I was leaving on a business trip overseas in 2 days. They then upgraded me to a VIP member so I receive free overnight shipping on all future orders! Never have received such outstanding service from a company but I am now a Zappos convert!

I am very impressed by Zappos service and amazingly prompt and free shipping. My order came within two days. The shoes were just what I wanted at a great price but a half size too large. I returned them for the right size and the new shoes again arrived within two days.

I found the standard version of the shoe tight so I bought the wide ones. Reading some of the other reviews about the wide running large, I decided to order a half size smaller than my usual 10.5. The size 10 fit perfect and the width was great. Very nice shoe and comfortable.

I ordered two pairs of shoes for my son for Christmas gifts. He was delighted to get them and promptly wore one pair that day on a flight to NC. This is the second time I have ordered from you and the process in doing so is a delight. Thank you for making ordering easy and of course having great items that are appreciated by all who receive them.

These shoes are perfect for my college-age son. Right style, right price. The service from Zappos was excellent: the website is intuitive, easy to use, and efficient. The follow-up and status information (order received, order processed, order shipping notification) was helpful as we counted down the days to Christmas. I will continue to use Zappos whenever possible.

This should actually be posted as an update to an earlier review. My brother in law wears the Wide version of this shoe and there seems to be something very wrong with the sizing on that shoe. From the reviews, this doesn't affect the medium width. We started out ordering the his normal size, a 9. That shoe was at least 2 full inches longer than his old Dockers! While style could account for some of this, they still seemed huge. My sister spoke with a salesman and he suggested going down only a half size since the majority of buyers did not report a problem. They sent the 8.5 and when he puts them on she can still insert two fingers into the back of the shoe with his foot pushed forward! We'll have to send them back again, but it would help if Zappos pulled a few of these wide shoes, and gave the customers some guidelines. Great shoe. Just way too big.

I bought a pair of these for my sister\'s husband for Christmas. He has a very narrow heel and the front of his foot is wide. Dockers are one of the few shoes that fit him well. He has always worn a size 9, but when he got these they were at least a size too long. So order down a full size if you get these.

These are comfortable work shoes but they tend to slip off my heel as I walk in them after initially breaking in.

This shoe looked nice on my son (size 7 1/2, medium width). However, the shoe was too wide in the heel, so we returned it. The "Lawton," also by Dockers, is extremely similar to this one but fit perfectly.

Stylish dress shoe, but is comfortable enough to go with casual outfits as well. I would definitely recommend these.

I like this shoe and am happy enough with the purchase, especially as my first ever one online. Zappos rocks and I see myself buying shoes here as often as needed. Regarding the shoe itself, I think it's great, with the only criticism being it seems a half-size larger than listed. Thus, I would suggest ordering a half-size down. Cheers!

Comfort was excellent. Design doesn't look as great as the picture online but it's still very good.

These are great looking shoes! The comfort level is not as high as I like (cushioned rubber soles are my favorite) but great for dress and business events.

I bought these shoes to run around the office in. Nothing fancy but they are comfortable. I got it 1/2 inch larger than what I normally wear and when I lift my heel it is a little loose. But since I keep them at work I'm fine with it.

Ordered these for my husband. He loves them. He did say they run a little big, but he kept them. He also said they are feel better than most dress shoes...not hard on the foot/heel. Keep up the great work Zappos. It's so easy for me to order shoes for my husband. We are a very busy family of 6 & this type of shopping fits us well. Thank you!

I have owned 3 pairs of these shoes and love them. They wear pretty well over 6 months but occasionally have the gel heel in the sole rupture. That's a disappointment but it appears that they have started using a thicker membrane to prevent it. They are a bit less expensive than a pair of Kenneth Cole shoes I also wear but look similar. Zappos shipping and return shipping policy is amazing.

Great shoe at a great price. Like the others say they run about half a size big.

Good shoe - This shoe fit well and was not painful to break in. But one drawback is the plastic label in the heel. It tends to rub on the bottom of my heel causing minor discomfort.

I really want to like these shoes, but I can’t seem to find a pair that fits my feet. I wear an 8 shoe so I ordered the Women’s 8/Men’s 6. They were GIGANTIC! So, I returned them and ordered a Women’s 7/Men’s 5. My toes go over the edge, so now I have to return these, too. I’ve never seen such a size difference between a 7 and 8. Perhaps Crocs needs to start offering half sizes.

Fine shoe for the $- Looks like a nice slip on dress shoe. Very comfortable although the heel has an odd clear plastic cushion pad inside the shoe that feels a bit odd at first. Sole is made of very soft rubber so will have to see how long it lasts.

Docker Proposal Review - This shoe is more dress shoe than casual. It wears and feels a lot more comfortable with thinner dress socks as opposed to thicker casual cotton socks. Leather is very flexible and is comfortable enough for office wear, but not for extended walks or other activities. Good shoe for the price.

Uncomfortable at first... These do take some breaking in at first. Stretching them daily (rolled up newspaper at night) and going through a lot of toe pain. When I bought them I could only find the Medium width...Now they are super comfortable, I run around a lot in my office and these are perfect. They look good with jeans, too.

Good work shoe - This shoe is basically what I expected from studying the pictures before ordering. It has a nice fit if I wear thin socks. There is some toe pressure (my 'big' toe is always in contact with the upper part of the shoe), so there is a tendency for holes to rub into my sock where it covers my toe nail. I mostly solve the problem by "bunching" material slightly around the toes when putting the shoe on. Sadly, a lot of the shoe styles today have this design flaw. However, you wouldn't get that impression of this shoe from looking at the pictures (after all, there are some shoes that have a toe area so thin you could use them for swimming flippers, and you walk like a duck when you wear them, too!). Another problem is the heel of the shoe has a thick roll that wraps around your Achilles’ tendon. It is too snug for my preference, but I notice that it gets better (looser) with each wear. If I could do it over, I would order a half size larger and wear thick socks. This shoe does not have size problems (in my experience) but it does have some design problems, in terms of comfort. Most men still prefer comfort over style, manufacturers!
