Do anything kicks - I wear them all day everyday @ work standing on my feet for 8+ hrs. I even take em to the court and play racquetball in them!! They don't mark the floor, they grip like a madman, and the leather is super supportive. The best is kicking some butt on the court wearing a pair of sandals!!!

Fantastic Shoes! Working in Iraq, the weather here is hot as hell. A number of women here had the ladies version. I decided to try the mans and WOW! is all I can say. My feet hardly sweat at all in the searing heat. I wear them everyday and have a few new spares still in the box for whenever these wear out. Plus, I NEVER have to worry about the laces coming undone while I'm moving some boxes or other stuff. Definitely sold on this shoe for years to come. By the way, I first tried the Columbia version, but it was way too narrow for my foot. It was the same size and width marking, but I couldn't fit in the Columbia shoe. I took a chance on the Keen and it fits much wider. Great Shoe!!! :) Expensive, but worth every penny when it counts.

GREAT! Great shoe. Especially at the sale price. Where else can you find Keen's at 30% off. Zappos customer service is excellent. The shoe is comfortable and felt true to size. My first pair of Keens, but not the last.

Keen Taos - I love these shoes! I did a lot of research before I settled on the Taos and they have truly exceeded my expectations. The comfort and looks are simply great and I receive unsolicited complements. My college age kids are jealous, they can buy their own!! Zappos is consistently a pleasure to do business with.

1st Pair of Keen's, I'm sold! On recommendations from friends, I decided to try a pair of Keen hiking sandals. Since I wear orthotic inserts in all my shoes, I choose the Keen Taos as they have a "closed" heel. Other sandals without the "closed" heel allow my orthotic inserts to slip out. The comfort and support of these sandals was instant and wonderful. The sandals are well made and appear to stand up to heavy use. I expect to get many years of comfortable wear out of them. My experience with Zappos was great. Shopping was easy, shipping was prompt and the web site was really simple to navigate.

Men's - This shoe is awesome. I wore it to the beach and it worked very well. They are comfortable and durable.

Keen Taos - I now own two pairs of these shoes and I can honestly say that they are the most comfortable walking and daily wearing shoes that I have ever worn. My wife has washed them for me and they still look great.

COMFORT+ This is my husband's 4th pair of Keens and he just loves them. He is going to have his hip replaced in November and he would not be able to continue walking around without the support these shoes give him. Besides comfort he continually gets compliments on how they look.

Absolutely the most comfortable shoe I own. I wish Keen made women's shoes in wide widths. I have to order men's size 7 which are few and far between.

Good shoes, but not antimicrobial or antibacterial- Bought them for hiking in the Blue Ridge Mts... LOVE THEM! Then wore them on the Kalalau trail, and on the short trail to Queen's bath (Kauai, Hawaii), so, needless to say, they got wet. They're waterproof, but not antimicrobial or bacterial, so... now whenever I wear them, they, my feet, and socks stink to high heaven. They're great shoes, but if you get them wet in trail water (or, god forbid, ocean water) be prepared to deal with VERY stinky feet. I'm considering replacing them (that's why I came to this website).

Great shoes! Bought my first pair of Keens(Taos) right before a trip to upstate NY. Hiked around all day and never felt the slightest bit of fatigue. Have since purchased 2 more pair(Newport and Bronx) and while I haven't received the Bronx yet I'm thoroughly sold on Keens!

Like walking on a cloud - I do everything in these including work out. They are incredibly comfortable.

Great Pair of Shoes - I have bought several shoes from zappos and as always their service was terrific. I spent a month in Santa Fe, NM and used these shoes for light hiking, white water rafting, and athletic activity. The shoes performed well in all situations. I usually buy a size 11 but I found that the 10.5 fits much better for this shoe.

Great walking shoes! I"m a women's size 12 so purchased these in a mens 11. Just got back from 3 weeks in Europe, walking average 10 miles/day. I have such problems with my feet and worried about how I'd do on the trip. These are the best sandals and I lived in them! I did put my own inserts in them though for better support (I use Superfeet). I live in these shoes! Very supportive and comfortable!

Better than Boulder - I had the Keen Boulders and hated them. These shoes are far better. Very comfortable without socks. A bit warmer than I would like, but that is a given for a sandal with this much protection. Great shoes!

Solid Choice - Great shoe, very light, comfy. Even though it has plenty of open space to "breathe" it is still a bit hot.

Happy in Houston - I wear these shoes with or without socks. They are the most comfortable shoe that I own. It is like walking on clouds. Really good arch support.

Fits Great, Looks Great - I own several pairs of Keen footware, these are the most comfortable for my foot. I have also received several compliments about their good looks.

Love this shoe. It is incredibly comfortable, and I think versatile. Although it has been snowing since I bought it and haven't had the chance to wear it outside much. Great with shorts, great for garden work, and walking the dogs in the rain.

Perfect for Taos! Out on the Rio Grande Gorge, these Taos Keens are perfect for sure footed descent down to the river. Felt narrow at first (compared to the Bronx pair) but adjusted to the footbed within a short period of time. Very rugged outdoor performance; feels like comfortable slippers. High recommendations!

These shoes rock!! I originally bought these shoes to work out in the gym because the 'vents' in the sides looked like they would help keep my feet cooler. I pretty much wear them all the time now when I'm not at work - they feel great, they're light yet rugged (I dropped a 45lb plate on my foot the other day trying to put the weights up and barely felt it) and have extremely good traction. I will definitely be buying another pair!

Awesome Performers! Awesome Performers! ...That's BOTH Zappos and the Taos's. Both my wife and I hike and backpack. We've put lots of miles on various kinds of lightweight footwear in our quest for a great hybrid hiker. We've tried several. But to date, unless you want a hotter, heavier hiker and do not have strong ankles; we have not found a better three season hiking sandal/shoe than the Keen Taos. They are extremely comfortable, springy, and supportive. They grip smooth, wet trail rocks as well as loose dirt and gravel very well. They are lace-adjustable, have ample toe room and protection, are cool on the foot, and "rock" you forward while you walk and trek. Their well thought out protective design is more like an advanced trail runner that can handles 25 lb.+ loads. We are in shape and can eat up 20+ trail miles fast - the Taos can deal with various loads and terrain like no other sandal/shoe. We bought them with no reviews to consult because we were looking for just this kind of footwear. We play, and wanted a more protective, supportive sandal/shoe to wear in and out of sand, surf, water-swelled creeks, on difficult ascents, and downhill challenges. The Keen Taos's do these things well. By the way, these are the only shoes we've ever been complimented on. And, they DO look great and require no breaking in! Most importantly, they are surprisingly COMFORTABLE!! As for Zappos, well, the Taos's arrived in a flash - in time for a trip to Honolulu where we continued to try them out in varied terrain and hot and wet weather conditions... Basically, we haven't take them off and haven't bothered to wear other shoes since receiving them... Keen did it's homework this time. They are the best all-around design Keen makes and perfect for hiking the AT, wearing in the sand and surf, and for everyday comfort. You will be impressed.

The Taos is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned! It is very light weight and really has a lot of cushion. I am a very big fan of Keen. I own some Newports and Bronx. The Taos is more narrow that other Keens. The tread pattern works very well on dirt. I got the Bison color with red. Sharp-looking shoes! The first time I wore them 2 or 3 people commented on them. I love these shoes.
