Great shoes - I really love these shoes, they're great!

Clarks Desert Trek - This shoe is a classic favorite...very casual,comfortable,and durable. Quick delivery and follow-up customer service can only be described as excellent. I would buy from Zappos.com again and recommend them to anyone that wants fast, dependable, service.

Ahhh...the desert trek - I love these shoes. I actually just purchased my SECOND pair from zappos because I love my first pair so much. I can't remember the last time I actually liked a pair of shoes enough to make a concious effort to buy a second pair. One complaint is that they feel a little narrow when you first get them, but the stretch out and fit your foot quite nicely in no time. Simple, understated, but still very attractive.

'Beeswax Leather' color looks great - These shoes have a primitive, simple look that I like a lot. They even feel good without socks, as worn here in Florida. You might have to switch for a larger size, as they do seem a little narrow, although the length was fine. If you do, Zappos is the king of easy returns/exchanges. Maybe I just needed to break them in, as they seem to have stretched and are much more comfortable now after a week of wear. Desert Treks have those light-colored crepe soles that quickly get a "dirty" look, but that's no big deal to me. I love 'em and if you like the picture, you will, too.

Clark Desert Trek-Sandstone-Great! I am very pleased with these classic shoes. Excellent style, comfort and quality materials. Zappos made this purchase easy and hassle free. They were delivered amazingly fast without any problems. I am very happy.

Clarks - Great shoes. Tasty looking, and feel nice. I'm sure they will feel even better as I continue to wear them and break them in.

Wow - I bought a pair of these at the Clarks outlet in north conway in NH for 25 dollars on clearence, and I am amazed, they are so very comfortable and I wear them with jeans, cargoes, or any other pants. As a high school student, people either love them or hate them, but they are so comfy I would care less.

Best Ever! I can't begin to say how wonderful my Clarks Desert Treks are. My first pair have lasted more than 3 years and get better with every wearing. I had to have a pair in each color. They are great for dress-up or dressing down. Being a Practice Manager for a Doctors office I am on my feet all day and my feet have never been better! I used to get callus' on my feet but with my Treks I nolonger do. These shoes are the best! Many, many people have complimented me on these shoes.

Great - This is a great shoe. It is probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. They look great too. The only drawback if there is one is that things sometimes stick to the soles of the shoe. This is a great shoe and I recommend anyone looking for a casual dress shoe to buy this one.

These shoes look great especially with jeans. I own two pairs, navy blue suede and black leather. I've gotten many complements on them. I love the feel of crepe sole shoes, they're comfortable. I found them to be true to size and width.

Clark's Desert Trek - Sand Suede - I ordered these in the sand suede colorway, and was very happy with my choice as they look a lot better in person. The photo shown is not a good representation of the shoe. After having a pair of the Wallabee boots, I wanted a pair ofCclarks that fell better with jeans, and these do just the job. While I have not broken these in completely, the comfort level is not as high as I was expecting, as the insole does not span the whole length of the footbed. The forefoot of the shoe's insole feels like a wood board while the heel has more cushioning. Sizewise, the shoe fits well except in the middle of the shoe where it feels a bit tight. All in all, the shoe is worth the price and has styles for miles. Real sneakerheads will know that clark's are simply hotness. Zappos made my first experience with them stress-free, fast shipping and good packaging.

Comfort - I found this to be a great shoe to wear with jean and just relax.

Standing the test of time - I purchased these shoes in the Bee's wax leather over two years ago. They seem to get better with age. When I first purchased them they felt slightly stiff. After treating them with leather conditioner and wearing them about once per week they began to feel considerably more comfortable. One word of caution, even though the leather breaks in well, I don't recommend wearing them with thin socks. They tend to rub against your toes when wearing thin socks, however, I don't notice the same problem when wearing them with no socks. I have always been a big fan of Clark shoes. I currently own 6 pair of them. The Trek's seem to be constructed than my two pair of Clark desert boots. However, the Trek's nor the Desert Boots can compete with my now discontinued Clark Stephenson dress/casual plain toe oxfords. I purchased the Stephenson's about 8 years ago while nursing a ruptured achillies tendon and they are still going strong today. To some the appearance of the Treks may be a turn off, however, people who know great quality find them to be "hip" and "cool." Let me share an example of this, I'm 46 years old and work at the local community college, one day a student saw my shoes and began to rave about them to me, he said; ( in his exact words) "if you're wearing Treks, you must have alot of class!" For a 20 year old student to consider a 46 year old man to have "class" or be "cool" speaks volumes about the Trek. I'll be picking up another pair in brown soon.

Good shoes, Great service - The shoes are classic Clarks. I've worn them everyday since getting them and am thoroughly enjoying them. Zappos' service was phenomenal. The shoes arrived at my home within 24 hours of ordering them. Very simple and very well executed. Great service.

First of all, I want to say that you could not ask for better service and selection than you get at Zappos. Now for the Desert Trek. As is always the case, at least for me, the shoe was comfortable right out of the box. After wearing them for a few hours the slight snugness was gone and the shoe was completely broken in. The crepe sole is great. One of the true classic for Clark.

Great shoe, Amazing service - I had to jump right on and write to say I recieved my new Desert Treks less then 24 hours after I ordered them! Great shoe, but I expected that; I've worn these and other Clarks shoes since the 60's. Great shoes, even greater service. You have my repeat business.

I have been wearing this shoe since the early 1970's. The early ones where made in Ireland I believe, and had a brown rubber sole that lasted a very long time. The newer models have a soft rubber crepe sole that gets gummy with time and picks up rocks and anything else that will stick to it. I am going to bring my latest pair in to have the sole changed over to something more pleasing. For 100-dollars, the shoe could be much better. I have always liked the shoe, but the quality is not what it used to be.

This is a good overall shoe. However, Clarks need to upgrade the crepe sole, but your comfort factor might get compromised. It does get better with age and wear.

Darn good shoes - Bought these shoes from Zappos.com with free shipping. I haven't worn anything but the Desert Treks since they arrived. Comfort and style in one. Great pair of shoes.

Pleased with shoe purchase - Very pleased with the overall service from Zappos. LOVE THE SHOE, bought for my son who can never find stylish shoes in our region in his larger size 14, sometimes size 15.

Poor Worksmanship - Great style, great comfort, but unfortunately poor quality. This shoes did not last more than a few weeks before the sole became detached at the heel of the left shoe. I had to have them glued back together. In my experience with Clarks (I have owned 5 pairs) this is an isolated incident. Otherwise, the shoe is fantastic in terms of comfort and style.

Great shoe - The shoe is all that I hoped it would be and it has provided me with a boundless happiness.

Clarks' Desert Trek - The shoe fit narrow compared to other Clarks shoes I wear and the workmanship on this particular pair was lower than I expected and am accustomed to. There was a flaw on this pair: unraveling of stitching at the tongue. Unfortunately, I returned this pair.

Clark's Desert Trek Shoe - Black - I just bought a pair of the desert Treks in beeswax and really liked them, so bought a pair in black. The beeswax model is easy to buff to remove scuffs and I am interested in seeing how the suede wears. Both are comfortable, fit my narrow foot and can be worn with casual or dressier clothes.
