Sadly Surprised - These shoes look awesome, and with Clarks' excellent reputation I had the impression that they would be comfortable as well, wrong. It has one of the most annoying aspects in a shoe that I've ever experienced. The sole only extends 3/4 of the way down to the toe. I guess there was a good reason behind it, but it's completely unknown to me. And maybe the sole is going to wear down a little bit so it's more pleasant, but we'll have to see. But in the mean time, this shoe is not for me. As for Zappos, they were fine, but maybe I'll think twice about ordering a shoe online again.

Clarks' Desert Trek - The shoe fit narrow compared to other Clarks shoes I wear and the workmanship on this particular pair was lower than I expected and am accustomed to. There was a flaw on this pair: unraveling of stitching at the tongue. Unfortunately, I returned this pair.

Timeless Shoe - I really like these shoes. I am a functionality kind of person. These shoes are classy and comfortable. They are also a great wear no matter the season.

Cute boot. Great to dress up or down an outfit. Looks great with skinny jeans tucked in. Very comfortable, not heavy like most other boots. Needed no breaking in and fit well. Loved this boot so much I bought it in 2 colors!

I love this pair of shoes. They look great, feel great on my feet, I never feel like taking them off. I recommend them to anyone who wants an old classic shoe that will never go out of style.

Style AND Comfort - These shoes are the most comfortable I own. Casual style but original. Better than my other pair of Clarks Desert Treks.

Great Father's day gift! My son gave me a pair of these for Father's Day after I commented on how cool they looked on him. I love the mid stitch and they look great. I wear them with jeans and also slacks on my casual days at work. I suffer from peripheral neuropathy so I wear them without socks. They are very comfortable and look great. I've had nothing but good things said about them. The only "drawback" is the sole gets really dirty when walking on asphalt which I do a lot due to my job. Otherwise it's a great shoe. Shipping was quick too!

All around great shoe - Shoe arrived in 1 businees day, has a very sleek look, great leather quality, and extremely comfortable. I am beyond satisfied.

Clark's shoes - My son's very favorite shoes-- bought them as a gift for him to replace a pair that was falling apart (truly!) I used to wear these shoes in the 60's-- (when we girls thought they were the perfect shoe for protests and such) they are great!

Very comfortable shoes - The shoes are most comfortabe a dressey enough for any occasion. I had a pair before and the shoes lasted for years.

Would have been good... When I ordered these shoes they were pictured on the website with a light-colored sole. When I received them, they had a black sole as pictured here. They fit great and were really comfortable but I just didn't want to black sole so I returned them for a the beeswax leather which are great.

Cool Shoes!! First of all Zappos delivered my shoes in one buisness day which is incredible. The shoes fit great and this shoe is the most comfortable shoe you can find. The toe room is spacious and it fits like a glove. Thanks Zappos for the fast service and a great shoe.

Clark Treks - I have been wearing these shoes for over 20 years and to this day have not found a more comfortable pair of shoes.

For my second pair of Treks, I went with my size of 10. I wore a smaller 9.5, comfortably, in my first pair, but have since worn several pairs of Birkenstocks and prefer a roomier fit. So, if you like a closer (but still comfortable) fit, go a half size smaller than your normal size. If you like a little more wiggle room in the toe, order your "normal" size. Your heel might slip for a few days, but nothing unbearable. These are great shoes, absolutely stylin' and very comfortable. Also, this is my first Zappos order and will not be my last. Exceptional service, including the return of a different size. They make it so easy, and the free shipping is great. I received my shoes the day after I ordered. Just great!

Great, classic shoe. I've always been a fan of these shoes, but until now have never actually bought a pair. Initially, I thought they were a little narrow and felt some bulges on the inside pinching around the middle of my foot. But after a few days of break in, they feel great and fit perfectly. They are comfortable shoes and I love the classic style, although as expected for an old-school shoe like this they lack the real plush comfort of a more modern boot. All in all, you can't go wrong with a classic shoe like this and they have become my favorites.

The very best - To be honest with you guys this is in fact one of the very best places to shoppe on line. I actually have full confidence when shopping with you guys. You meet the demands and do all you can to satisfy your customers. Thanks a lot for the good job and keep it up.

The best shoes of all time - These are, without a doubt, the greatest pair of dress shoes I have ever, or will ever, own in my lifetime.

Cool Shoe - I'm a diehard Camper shoe wearer but when I saw this shoe on the site, I thought, "Wow, that's a rad shoe." When I received the shoe and put it on I said, "Wow, this is a rad shoe." It took a few days to get a good feel for the soles but now they're great. I get lot's of compliments. Also, it seemed like the shoes arrived the day after I ordered them. Thanks Zappos.

Shoe makes me smile - I originally ordered the shoe in a women's ten but found it was way too narrow. As the shoe is not made in a larger women's size, I looked into men's at local stores to find my size (which none of them seemed to have). From many different sizes that were available to me, I guessed I was a men's 9 1/2 which seemed crazy but I ordered them through Zappos anyways. I am in love with the shoe, it is adorable and makes me smile when I see my feet, which sounds silly but even more than that, I am in love with Zappos. I ordered another pair of shoes from a different company a week earlier and found that they arrived a week after my Zappos order. Zappos took back the women's ten that did not fit and quickly sent me new shoes. Zappos is unbelievably friendly and just plain wonderful. So thank you for making me smile :)

Wicked Awsome - Great shoe feels true to size and they are wicked awsome... nuff said!

A great shoe - These are fantastic shoes -- they look great and are very comfortable, too. One complaint I had was the outer edge of the shoe dug into my ankle very painfully. This seemed strange, but I was able to stretch them out a bit, and now they feel wonderful. Also, they are AT LEAST a half size bigger than marked. I usually wear 9.5 or 10, and I had to get a 9 for this shoe.

My fourth pair in 30 years. I love my Clark Treks. I started wearing them 30 years ago and I will, hopefully, continue for the next thirty. The most comfortable and good looking shoes I own.

Clarks Desert trek - Very happy with this shoe, It was like broke-in from the first time on my feet.
