These shoes are meant to skate in. The grip is perfect for keeping the board on your feet. The strap holds your foot in place. The shoes are really bulky but definitely will protect your foot. Best shoe for vert.

Emerica Kirchart 4 - The Kirchart 4, are amazing!!! They are very comfortable, great grip, and durable... at least the white and black ones. I skate and I can usually start to rip up a pair of shoes in a week or two, and so far, they are doing pretty good. My 3 friends and I all sk8 these shoes and we all agree they are probably the best shoes we ever sk8ed.

Emerica Kirchart 4 - These shoes are sick. I am a skateboarder, so I rip my shoes up pretty fast. I just got them, and they rule. Nothing wrong with them AT ALL. The service was fast, too. I mean really fast. I ordered them last night, and when I got home from school, they were there. Get these shoes.

Emerica 4ever - These rip really easy but they are the best for skating. I’ve had mine 5 months, normal shoes last me a month the soles wear out easy though, great for skating.

Kirchart 4's - Kirchart 4's-these shoes are amazing. Great durability last a long time except for the toe cap. I mainly do heel flip variations but when I did my first couple kick flips in these shoes I could already see it starting to rip. But these shoes are really amazing besides that problem.

Emerica Kirchart 4 - These shoes are so great I’m getting em every year. I got the grey and black ones and I love them. They’re wide great for skating; the only flaw is the toe cap rips the first time you skate in them and my strap was a little small...

Emerica Kirchart 4! My skater punk nephew wanted only these shoes, He eats sleeps and lives in his skate shoes. Now he wants another pair just like them!

Kirchart 4's - These are some awesome shoes. The only flaw I had was the ankle strap being too small: My friend had size 6 Circa CX 205's and the ankle straps were bigger than my Kirchart 4's. That and after my first 4 kick flips the toe started to split Other those 2 problems these shoes rule they are nice and wide. I get compliments every day (I have the black and white leather with the red outsole).

Emerica's Kirchart 4 - I let my grandson go on-line and pick out his own shoes. He is 11, but he knows what he wants and he is never disappointed with the shoes, the price or the time they get here. Emerica shoes - When I first got these shoes, they were snug at first but when I broke them in they had a good fit and were really comfortable. I would recommend these shoes to any body. I’m planning on getting the Emerica the boss shoes designed by andrew reynolds.

Great shoe - I recently purchased Emerica Kirchart 4 shoes and couldn't be happier with a pair of shoes. My decision to purchase this particular shoe was based on the system G2 heel cushioning. I figured if they were good for skate boarders they would be good for my heel spur, this being my second pair of Emerica’s I know they fill the requirements that I was looking for. The only thing better than the shoes, is the service at Zappos. I'll never by sneakers anywhere else.

Kirchart 4's rock!! These are possibly the best skate shoes I've ever ridden! They felt completely broken in after the first 10 minutes of skating! These are the first pair of Emerica's I've had, and I feel that I will stick with this brand for a long time. Fast shipping!!

Kirchart 4 - These shoes are the best I have ever had! It takes some time to break in, but after that they were really comfy. Awesome shoes for skating in, it has the best board control yet. I highly recommend these shoes.

Kirchart 4 - This was one of the best shoes I have ever had I usually go through shoes in a about a month and a half and this pair lasted me almost four months!!! The shoes are a little pricy but they are worth it they have everything, they look sick, they are comfy, and durable

Freaking A - Awesome shoes, they look great, the only flaw is they take a little bit to break in but are great for skaing once you do.

Another skate shoe- Well, well, well... If it isn’t the Kirchart 4s. They are very protective, have very good board feel, but the only problem I had was the Nubuck (material on the black/red ones), because it ripped within 3 minutes of skating.

Good shoe - This shoe is good; it’s light and looks good, but they rip easily in the toe part; but overall it’s a good shoe.

The best - I love them, they're good 4 sk8n and I like the design of the 4 better then the 3. Heath Kirchart is also the best street sk8er in the world.

Cool but stiff at first- Takes a little time to break in. Not ideal for skateboarding but look real good for regular wear.

Kirchart 4's - These shoes blow the 3's out the water. Awesome grip with incredible flex, and feel. Strap is awesome, haven't rolled my ankle yet. The system G2 and system foam 2 insole both work great. Their comfortable and very good for skating.

Perfect shoe, but fix the strap!!! This shoe was perfect for me. I don't skate like a lot of these guys, but I do ride BMX. They gripped my pedals really well and had great durability. However, the velcro strap is about 1-2 inches too short on both feet.

Really good shoes but the sole wore out pretty fast and if you skate a lot they tear pretty easily.

These shoes are the best. The toe cap isn't the best but it is still great.
