This is an OK skate shoe. It looks good, is comfy, but didn't last as long as I liked.

Needed new shoes... As the title states, I needed some new shoes. I work as a supervisor and am on my feet all day. I wear a mix between sneakers and Doc Martens to work and wanted something that would keep up with me. I've always had good luck with Vans, and for having these for about two weeks now, they're great. They look good and the insole feels good even after being on your feet all day. I don't skate any more, but I'm sure they'd do well for that too. They seem about 1/2 size bigger than the DC's and Etnies they replaced.

Vans Bucky Lasek - This is a great sneaker. Only defect is that the insole is red and stains white socks; but the stains wash off.

Good shoe but... The first pair the tongue tore out on day 2. The replacement came and that pair has bee fine. The first pairs quality was unusual to Vans. Fit to size width to size. Zappos service typically excellent. That is typical to Zappos. Keep up the good work

Best deal in town - Zappos offered the best deal in town overall. Selection, price and delivery... couldn't be beat. The shoe is awesome.. My son received numerous comments from classmates.

Van's Bucky Lasek - "navy blue", gray, white - I love this shoe except the fact that when the shoe came in, it looks much different than what the picture online showed. The picture shows the shoe to be blue and gray, but in actual appearance, the navy blue is so dark that it looks black. In fact, sometimes, you're not sure if it's even really navy blue. And if you ask someone around you, what color it is, they say "black" without hesitation. So my only complaint is to to change the picture (which I'm thinking the coloring of the picture was maybe done on a computer program) or either label the colors of the shoe "black & gray".

Bucky Lasek Shoes are very comfortable - I really like my new vans. They are cool and very comfortable. I like the color, but they don't stay tight on the foot. But overall they are a very good shoe and I will buy again from Zappos.com. Quick and friendly service. I got my shoes in two days with free shipping. You Rock!!!!

Good, but I've had better - This is a pretty good shoe. It's stylish, pretty comfortable, and an easy slip on and off if you're in a rush. The only bad thing that I can say about this shoe is that the navy blue shoelaces rub their color off on the white tongue of the shoe, simple to clean but it's still a hassle.

Low cut and stylish - Very cool looking but are very low cut and that does feel different.

Look good, but comfort is a bit lacking - I like these shoes, but they just aren't very comfortable. The tongue on the right shoe kept stabbing me in the foot, and I just couldn't break in the shoes, even though I had them for 2 months. It was strange. If you've never experienced problems with these types of shoes, then go ahead and purchase them. This was my first pair of skateboarding shoes, so maybe they're just not for me.
