I like the fit. Sole cracked at 10 months and overall the shoe looked good. I will try one more pair before I switch back.

GREAT COMFORT!! just wish the boots last longer than a few months before they start falling apart

The 1st pair I bought lasted about 3 months before the sole started coming off and I had to glue It back on with right stuff. This is the 2nd pair and the sole started coming off in 2 weeks. I'm gonna have to glue this one back together also because I can't afford a new pair! I am not a happy customer.

The boots were great, I did keep it. The shoes was not comfortable

Had these boots for about 5months now. They look good, they're really comfortable, and overall I was happy with them....for 4 months. Now into the 5th month the sole on the right boot toe is peeling away from the boot, the ball of my right foot wore a hole through the insole, and the leather on both boots at the toes is shredding away. Yes I do wear them to work 10hours a day 5 or 6 days a week, so they're getting a lot of use but that's what they're supposed to do, they're "work boots". It's a shame they weren't more durable cause the first 4 months I was completely happy with them. Think I'm gonna go with Red Wings this time, not the best looking but from what I've heard they'll last

I bought these boots based on all the ratings that said they were one of the top picks, if not the top pick. Purchased them on 8/2 but did not start wearing them until 8/22 when I started a new job checking wells in the oilfield. I am not working a rig, but checking the wells after they are completed. These boots are very comfortable and the break in time was almost nothing. However, yesterday, 10/17 I noticed that the bottom had started separating from the shoe. I got on the website and was told via chat that I needed to fill out a form and send them in to be looked at for replacement. This is great however, my job requires me to have safety toe shoes and this was my only pair. Bass Pro Shops to the rescue. We called Bass Pro where we purchased them and even though it was almost 60 days from purchase, they allowed me to return them for the same boot or what ever I wanted. I am giving this boot another chance, last chance. I have purchased another brand of safety boot so I can trade them in and out to minimize the wear and tear on one pair at a time but for all the hype on how good and durable these boots are, they didn't last two full months of wear. My Jury is still out on how they will hold up. If they go out again, I will report back and change boots/brands.

I work in the HVAC field and am on my feet most of the time. I was very pleased with the comfort of the boot however after six months of wear I am disappointed to have the soles separating on both feet. I expect to get about a year out of a pair of work boots especially if i am paying a little more for a boot. For me, I cant justify the cost for a pair of work boots that will only last six months.

I wear these boots to work - about 20 hours a week in retail/warehouse. I am on my feet the entire time, so I wanted a boot that would be comfortable and protective. About 10 months after purchasing the boots, a crack appeared across the sole at the ball of my foot. When I went back to the store where the boots were purchased, I was told that Timberland was aware of the flaw and has redesigned the sole. Against my better judgement, and because these boots are so comfortable, I bought another pair of the redesigned boots to replace the ones that cracked. If the sole cracks again, these will be the last pair of Timberland boots that I buy.

I have been wearing Timberland Pro Titans at work on the factory floor for 5-6 days a week, 8 to 10 hours each day since 2007. I had happy feet until my last order that was shipped to my place and I had to stop using it after wearing it for 6 weeks since I started getting blisters and painful corns on my toes. The top third eyelet and the stitching next to it bruised my skin just above the ankle. I tried Dr. Scholes inserts to help the blisters and corns but the boots became tight. I am glad I did not throw out my old Pro Titan pair. I will use them until I find a replacement. Pro Titans are not what they used to be.

Mine review almost matches this to a tee. "I'm a landscaper. I walk a lot. I bought these in April and just threw them out yesterday because the sole was basically falling off. The little decorative strip on tread and Timberland pad on heal, fell of months ago. The tread was split at the heal and balls of feet. Even though they are comfortable and waterproof, I find the quality totally unacceptable for the price paid. I've gone though 3 pairs in the last 4 years and will never buy these again. The first pair lasted almost 2 years and then something must have changed with the building process. I gave the second and third pair a shot in hopes of improvements. All you are paying for is the timberland name. I will be looking for new boots somewhere else." The timeline is a little different, but I am truely disappointed with the quality now.

Wore them everyday for less than a year before the sole split. They were great before that happened, but I expect much more durability from my boots.

I'm on my second pair of these boots. With the first pair, the soles split open after about 9 months. My feet got wet every time it rained. I figured it might just be a fluke with this pair so I decided to purchase another pair. I've had the second pair now for about 14 months and the sole just split on the one boot. I'm in the construction field and my time is split between the office and the field. I wouldn't say I exert extreme wear on my boots, just normal wear and tear. It's a shame because these boots are very comfortable. You would think that for how expensive these boots are that they would be durable and hold up for a longer period of time. Due to how cheaply made the soles are, my next pair of work boots will probably be another brand.

They look great in the ad but leaked after a week and the adhesive did not hold up on either shoe

THE OLDER DESIGN OF THE INSOLE IS THE REASON I HAVE BOUGHT A NEW PAIR OF THESE SHOES EVERY YEAR FOR THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. I HAVE BOUGHT TWO PAIRS OF THESE THIS YEAR AND THE INSOLE HAS BEEN CHANGED. THEY ARE NO LONGER COMFORTABLE.

After only 6-7 months of wear the right sole split half way across . I'm inside all day walking. Co-Worker had the same thing happen.

I own a pair of Titan Oxfords. I love them. I saw these and needed a new everyday boot. I ordered the same size. The fit in the boot is way different than the oxford. I ordered a wide size. The toe box and mid arch is fine. When you get to the heal, its extra wide. It's so wide my heal slides from side to side. I tried buying the timberland inserts hoping that would help. No luck. I tried wearing extra thick hiking socks. No luck. It has gotten to the point where these boots are causing me pain in my feet, knees and hips. I wanted to give these a good try so I have been using them for over a month. I just can't take the pain they are causing me. I will probably donate these since I certainly can't wear them. I thought Timberland Pro would be my go to shoe and boot source. After this experience, I can't say that it will.

After 30 years the quality has diminished. The sole material splits. It has happened twice in the last 6 years.

They felt a little tight, so trying to break them in and they got dirty so i cant return them. The never really loosened up so i wont be able to wear them

3 months of wearing these and there falling apart

I would love these boots if the cheap soles didn't split at the ball of the foot on every pair I've ever owned. I would get these boots through work (as they were the only ones available in my size) and I've gone through 12 pairs of these boots, with every single pair getting cracks and splits in the sole in the same place. I spoke about this with a Timberland rep at a trade show years ago and he insisted that the issue was that there was a bad batch of rubber that had been used, and that it shouldn't an issue any longer. Lo and behold, it's still happened to ever pair I've had since, generally within one season (90 days). I've returned I don't know how many pairs for replacement, but at this point it's just not worth it anymore.

I would not recommend these shoes to anyone working in a shop where your working with oil. I had the shoes approximately 10 months and only wore them 3 days a week and the soles split in half. Made in Dominican Republic. Wearing the boots for 3 weeks and walking 2-3 hours in the construction field. The welt has been apart from upper with about 8' long. This welt failure is a product defect. Requested for return.

These rubbed a sore on my ankle in less than an hour.
