Uggs vs Birkenstock - I decided to try a pair of Uggs slip-ons and not the boots. Having worn Birkenstocks for casual wear for about 9 yrs, I am not as comfortable in Uggs. The main reason is because Uggs do not have a footbed like Birkies and my feet are accustomed to Birkies, I would guess. I had to wear my Uggs for several days for my feet to adjust. So, if you have worn Birks for any length of time, you will have an adjustment which will take time.

Fit of this shoe - I feel like the shoe is true to size and width. The shoe is very light weight and very comfortable and warm! The shoe does not have much style, just a good casual shoe to put on.

Comfy-Cozy In The Snow - I live in the Sierra Nevadas, and we get LOTS of snow every year, sometimes as early as Halloween. I bought this shoe last winter for short runs out to get wood, between houses and our to the car, etc. They're great. I've kept warm, and despite the look they have pretty good traction. They are going on year two now, and still look and feel like new. I love these shoes!

With UGGs, I'm usually a 7 I have multiple pairs - went ahead and ordered my normal size. When I first tried them on, they felt very snug and almost like they were to tight. Now that being said - I am a sock wearing girl. I cannot wear shoes without socks (unless we are talking sandals/heels lol) This isn't a problem I have with any of the my other UGGs. I then tried to walk around with them without socks on and they did still feel a little snug. Still, I gave them a shot and wore them for about two weeks now around the house and they aren't as snug as before but my only wish is that these came in half sizes. I feel maybe a 7.5 would have fit my feet better as I like to wear socks. The reason however I docked stars is the back part where your heel hits is not tall enough. It doesn't happen to me all the time (Luckily) but my foot does occasionally slip out and its just annoying (to be clear this happens regardless if you are wearing socks or no socks). Especially when your hands are full and you cant bend over to slip your foot back in. Our laundry is in our basement and it occurs all the time going up and down the stairs. Hopefully UGG will release a slipper that has a higher back part. I will be keeping these as house slippers but I won't be buying other colors in this style due to this.

I had the same pair for 15 years size 12 when they finally were too old and worn I replaced them with another size 12 that I had ordered on line timing & pricing was fair they just do not fit like a true size 12

I should've listened to the reviews and sized up. I've got fairly small feet and a size 6 shoe would normally have quite a bit of extra space so I thought ordering a 6 would fit well, however they were so small I could barely force them on. Definitely not suitable to be worn. The shoes seem to be good quality though so I'll be exchanging for a 7 and hoping for a bitter fit.

I am returning these slippers--they are short in the toe and when I walk the heel slips on and off which I fear may cause a blister. Going to try the Ultra Mini Boots instead and hope they stay on my feet.

I have mixed feelings about this shoe. I have severe neuropathy in my feet and always looking for something I can walk in. I love that they keep my feet warm, easy to slip on and off, but the sole isn't as giving as my boots are and the fur is put in in opposite directions and it leaves a serious indention on the side of my foot. Becomes painful. I put a liner cover over that side. Solved problem. Put inserts into shoes an now I'm happy with them.

I am very disappointed in the quality of these slippers. After wanting them for so long and waiting to get my size in stock, I was excited when they arrived. I opened the box to quickly see a really cute slipper... upon looking it over I noticed the seam running along the top of the slipper was crooked? Also the lining around the heel is a ragged mess; it doesn't appear to be sewn to the inside of the slipper in any way? I love UGG, I own several pairs of boots, sneakers and some clothing but I was quite disturbed with the quality of this item. It almost looks to be a knockoff or even a second? These are not cheap, for the money they should be made a whole lot better. Would not purchase again.

These 7’s were def on the smaller size and not easy to slide on so I needed to send them back for the 8. Also the band around the top of the foot was uncomfortable. I’m assuming once the fur mats down they will fit better.

I love the look and fit of this slipper but I had hoped for a more cushioned insole. It is quite hard, so not as comfortable to wear as it could be. With added softness inside it would be a 5 star plus!

Exactly what I needed in my work from home environment. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have selected a different pair because the shoes I received have a crinkle in the left one. Ordered online, should have purchased in person to prevent the defect.

I honestly don’t know why these slippers are so expensive, so popular, and so highly rated. My feet are blazing hot in these and the soles really aren’t that comfortable. No arch support that I was looking for. I’m really bummed I bought these. I should have bought Giessweins.

Can't walk in them--way too uncomfortable, and not enough arch support. Don't compare with similar that I've had like National Geographic's fleece lined travel shoes.

I'm puzzled by the uniformly great reviews for these. To me, the sole is way too heavy and stiff. It's not appropriate for a clog-style slipper/shoe, in my opinion. When you walk, the big heavy sole flaps against your foot; it feels like you have to drag it.

Disappointing - narrow opening and my foot flopped out so much that they were so hard to wear. Love the style but something is wrong with the fit. Returning them asap.

Black Dye on this slipper comes off - There is a problem with the black Tasman slipper. Every time I wear them, the black dye from the sheepskin inside comes off onto my feet and ankle around the opening of the slipper. What a mess! I have to scrub hard to remove it. I have Ugg black Brooks boots with black sheepskin lining, and don't have this problem.

Blacks didn't match from left shoe and right shoe. Inside of left shoe insole was lifting up. I would have returned but didn't have time before trip. But going to Birkenstocks instead moving forward

They're too tight even though I usually wear a size 7. I also wish I would've gone with pink instead of blue.

I bought everyone slippers for Christmas and bought these for me, which was a mistake. They’re not comfortable at all. They’re very stiff and hard to walk in. I would have sent back, but in the shuffle of Christmas cleanup, the box was thrown out.

Aravon shoes fit me perfectly as do New Balance and other shoe manufacturers. Ugg, sadly, runs small, somewhere between a half size to full size smaller. The width was okay. Because Ugg goes up to size 12 and their size 12 is like size 11, there is no bigger size that I can get. It is hard to give comfort and overall higher scores when it runs small and I cannot wear them, but ignoring comfort they are comfortable, just a bit too much coverage. On a different note, I love the color and the closed toe design, just it is too much closed and gets a bit warm, which is fine if one lives in a freezing environment, but not in a more moderate climate.

I ordered these in black and they have stained my feet. I love the slipper but wish I knew the dye was so strong, I wouldn’t have ordered them in black. I have black bear paws that have never stained my feet like this.

My 3rd & last pair of this slipper. Purchased 2 pairs, one for my husband & one for myself in black as Christmas gifts. The dye still comes off on my feet, the fit is totally different than previous pairs in the same size. Having gone through the "breaking in" stage they are still very uncomfortable! Too expensive for poor quality & fit.

I read so many great reviews about these slippers before I bought them that I was surprised -- and disappointed -- to discover two issues with them. First of all, they took some time to break in. The opening of the slipper was extremely constricting around my feet for the first week or so. Wasn't anticipating having to break in a pair of slippers, but they did ultimately get much more comfortable. The bigger issue was that the black dye from the lambs wool bled all over my feet for two months. At first it was everywhere -- the soles of my feet looked filthy 24/7. After two months, the dye transfer wasn't as severe, but still persistent around my toes. I finally gave up hope that this issue would go away and zappos was nice enough to let me exchange them for the chestnut color (with white lambswool instead of black). And now I'm back to breaking in an uncomfortable pair of slippers.
