Always wear this shoes since the 80's

I swear this is true: in the late eighties I had a dream that I was walking around camp in a boat-shoe-type moccasin with a lug sole, and fellow campers were asking me about my footwear, and I told them that I had always wished that my usual boat shoes had a Vibram sole to better walk around on the uneven surfaces of the campground. And not long after that I came across a vendor (in central Ohio) that was offering this new, hand-stitched, American made lug-soled Oxblood Oxford . Swear. And that's when I started buying and wearing (and passing down) nearly every iteration of this design. (One of my favorites was the one with oiled leather, waxed canvas, and GoreTex; I wish that you would bring that one back. It was really functional in wet weather.). Anyway, really love love LOVE this shoe, and have for it's entire lifespan. My only regret is that I didn't purchase the baby-sized (or, at least, small-child-sized) pair I once saw on Fisherman's Wharf in SF (since I did not have a small child at the time!). In addition to traditional boat shoes, these have been my "signature" shoe, and will remain so for as long as I retain use of my two hind legs. Thank you for a GREAT product. #SWEEPSTAKES

The minute I took them out of the box I could see and feel the quality. The soles are very rugged and the leather is great quality.

I had a pair that lasted for many years. The sole finally got too hard and I decided it was time to replace it. There was a sale so I felt that was a sign that I should replace the original boat shoes I had. This fills the bill and glad I replaced them. Darker color and more stylish, in my opinion

I wear Timberland for comfort and style. Also for work when I'm standing on my feet for several hours at a time. I LOVE THE WAY THEY FEEL ON MY FEET!!! I own Timberland wheat boots, PRO Work boots, several original Boat shoes, & a new boot/sneaker type which feels GREAT also!!! I wish I had this questionnaire a few weeks ago because I could've shared a picture of my ORIGINAL BURGUNDY LEATHER BOAT SHOES that I've OWNED FOR 19 years!!! I just got rid of them 3 weeks ago. I really didn't want to depart with them. So I purchased 3 new pairs of the BOAT SHOES with the thick bottoms prior because they were made TOO LAST!!! You'll NEVER THE COMFORT IF YOU HAVE OWNED THEM. TIMBERLAND FOREVER FOR ME!!! I have more than 30 years of experience that I wouldn't trade while wearing the Timberland

Very practical for lounging, walking ,and boating. Goes well with jeans or shorts. Sturdy construction promises long wearability! Superior to other brands due to quality leather construction inside and out. Fully lined for foot comfort. Outer sole I'd chunky and sturdy. No compromises in this excellent shoe!

Very durable, stylish for most occasions. Minimal upkeep. Insole becomes unglued when wearing without socks.

This is one of a kind shoe, been in love with this particular shoe for many years and never goes out of style. Extremely comfortable, very casual and match with everything as I wear them everyday for work and for leisure on weekends

Please make the wide width shoes again

Have been wearing these for over thirty years and still wear them all the time. Current 10 yo pair has been resoled & repaired but is now reaching the point where they cannot be repaired much more. Have watched new models come and go over the years anticipating buying replacements. Colored panels, green, red, blue, orange, pink; white soles, orange soles; white stitching - with all this bling crap, why not just make some nicely tanned, polished/publishable brown shoes they way you used to?

Very well made. Comfortable, for casual dress, hiking or just everyday wear these shoes are great! Are they still being made, if not why were they discontinued???

Wish the material was more flexible but I like the sturdiness also so it's a catch 22. Overall though these are my favorite.

These our a casual date night or apparel in appearance definitely. High quality but needs a quality grade for a consecutive use. I probably could, as well I have wore them maybe 2-3 days only after purchase, but love them. Enhancement for the reason of, in sole and height of in sole. But the height of the shoe is necessary. Maybe a different quality as well leather grade in sole or variation of traction in sole, to keep posture where shoes keeps form for a consecutive of 2 weeks and then a new pair. Lol. And as well leather quality with solid smooth appearance even though this color texture is proper always. It should not be a varied variety maybe standard cause there versatile as you know. As well limited in consistent manner, I was up set a few months ago when I couldn't get these shoes. I wouldn't recommend these to a friend cause there made for who the quality is for and who seek them. They can admire but if they exert I might change to some tennis shoes. Thank you they have been around for ever and I always will love them.
