Desert Boots best for casual attire - I've been looking for a traditional desert boot for a long time. I finally found some at the outlet mall (Clark's) but they didn't have my size. I found them on line but a much higher price. I still wanted them, actually I bought in both colors, but it took a few trys to get the right size. Once I did, I was happy.

Surprise, surprise - I do not like to be negative, but...these shoes look to be a mens 9.5. I own 3 Clarks Wallabees two low cut, and one boot that is by far my fav. When I took out of the box...first I noticed that there was NO leather footbed lining from the ball of the foot to the toe. I could go on and on, but please tell it like it is. Love my Wallabees and wish I had more of a choice for women in the leather. I will be patient and wait for you to come to your senses. Wallabee boots are the best.

I haven't quite gotten in the habit of using this shoe in my daily rotation. Not that I have that many, I just get use to putting on the same shoe all the time. Having said that, I know this shoe very well since I've bought them for years, since the seventies. I love them! They are soft and comfy. They are quiet! They are a little heavy, but substantial. They are well made and enduring. They are not pretty, but I'm beyond worrying about that. They are true to size with lots of room in the toe box.

Felt tight on the widest part of my foot at first - but now that it's breaking in, it's a very comfortable shoe!

Not for wide feet!! Based on the look and all the reviews, I oredered this shoe but was sorely disappointed when I found I could not wear it and must send it back. I do have wide feet, but I never have to order wide sized shoes. Usually, if something fits tightly to begin with, I will endure it a few hours while it stretches. I love the style but I simply cannot endure wearing it.

Womens Desert Trek - Excellent shoe; typical Clark's comfort, in classic styling that is sometimes difficult to find in womens shoes--hope Clark continues to offer.

I Love my new (but nostalgic) Desert Treks - When I read the reviews on this shoe it reminded me of the ones I had back in the 70's and how comfortable they were. The first day I had them on I wore them all day, they are extremely comfortable.

Cute shoes but not enough support - The shoes are just as I remember in high school. I guess I have gotten used to shoes with better support overall. They are comfortable but after a day in them, my feet ache from not enough arch support. I put in some Dr. Scholl soles, but that made the shoes too tight. Also, if you get the leather ones do not spray them with water proofing spray! I did that right away and thought I ruined them! They dried all blotchy and weird. I had to scrub them with saddle soap and then use colorless leather lotion. They are much better but not like when I first got them. Over all, they are nice shoes for casual wear but don't expect them to support your feet very well.

Desert Trek - I am so disappointed with this shoe. The look isn't bad, but since there is padding only at the heel area and not under the ball of the foot it hurts! Can't be returned as worn outside and thrown away money hurts even more.

Wow, what a huge disappointment. On top of being narrow and incredibly uncomfortable, I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. I did not realize it was possible for something to feel both too small and too big at the same time. They are long and unattractive on someone my height (I am very short, 5'). Thank goodness for Zappos returns being so easy. Back they go!
