Based on the size chart, I ordered size 38 (for 7-7.5 size feet). It was very large. I went to a store and tried on other sizes. I actually needed size 37 with an additional foot support cushion in order for the shoes to fit.

They do run a bit large so read a lot of sizing info before ordering, but the width is perfect. It took probably 3 or 4 weeks to fully break in, which did feel like a really long time, BUT it was well worth it. I have been wearing these for the past three months now and my feet and legs do not feel sore at the end of the day. I am a sous chef and work on my feet at least 11 hours per shift five days a week. Very slip resistant and they still look brand new. They get stinky quick though because of the lack of air movement, but they are very easy to clean and make like new. I can see how they aren't for everyone because of the long break in period. But, if your up for the challenge and want a solid work shoe with strong support that can handle the worst spills in a kitchen without soaking through to your socks and just wipes away with a wet paper towel(grease, chicken juice, sauces, and fish water) this is it.

Love them. They are comfortable all day long. I have Plantar Fasciitis and I do get the support I need to prevent pain. A warning to people who haven't had these before...they are heavy! Way heavier than Crocs...but worth every penny.

These are great! I work in a kitchen and these keep me comfortable the whole shift. Slip proof, easy to clean, so comfortable. Only negative, not the prettiest shoe, but hey, who's looking? My Doc's were too heavy and these are the perfect shoe. I did order a size smaller, usually an 8, but ordered a 7 and they're perfect!

These are the best work shoes I have found. They make 10+ hour shifts bearable to be on feet all day. Would recommend to anyone.

I usually wear a size (US men's) 11.5-12, so I ordered the size 44 (11-11.5 US-m) which as it turned out was unwearable large for me.. returned for 43s which fit snugly. Recommend buying a size smaller than you might expect. Otherwise awesome anti-slip shoes for kitchen, healthcare, or anywhere indoors working all day on your feet.

The shoes were a Christmas present for my daughter. The first pair I ordered was a size too big (my fault). They arrived within days. After a call to customer service, I was able to exchange them for the correct size. I asked that they email me a return label for the first pair, it was in my inbox by the time that I hung up the phone. I shipped the first pair back the next and The second pair arrived just as quickly as the first. In talking with the representative, she was very courteous, understanding, explained the exchange process, and I would definitely order from Zappos again. On top of all of the above my daughter loved the shoes.

I researched these shoes before I decided to purchase them from ZAPPOS.COM Some sites had them priced lower, but by the time I added the shipping they were super over budget, and I live in Hawaii so shipping is expensive. ZAPPOS.COM has free shipping and it was fast! And that works for me. Actually this was my first ever purchase from ZAPPOS.COM and I can't wait to buy more.

I've owned these shoes for four three years now and I love them. I work in a kitchen so I'm on my feet all day running around. They are very stable on slick floors. Very comfortable, although the footbed does break down eventually and it is quite difficult to find Birki brand replacements and when you do, they cost almost as much as the shoes did. I've abused these poor shoes and they can take it. I would recommend these to anyone who works in a kitchen or similar enviroment, you will have to order a size to a size and a half smaller than you normally wear, I wear a 11.5 normally and I ordered a size 42 and after breaking in they fit like a foot glove. After three hard years they finally split up at the top of the foot, that's why I'm ordering another pair. Highly recommended.

Overall, great shoe and get great comments about them. Slightly larger than I thought so I sometimes drag them but overall a very good working shoe.

It looks ok (plastic look), but the insole is too hard for me and has somehow slightly strange contours, even with an insert. I was hoping for comfort like my leather Birkenstocks I loved decades ago, but in a clog where I can wear socks without feeling silly.

Way too big for my regular size. Love their shoes, but this shoe is different than any i have worn from them before. It was so wide, I could not get a good foot grip in the shoe. Had to return them.

Great shoe, reliable quality, but sadly I am a true size 35, which is quite difficult to find a good equivalent in US sizes, as it is right between the smallest women's size (size 5 , or 36) and the size 3 or 3.5 big kids size shoes. Luckily Zappos has great customer service and return policies!

Too big. Definitely could be comfortable in the right size. Unfortunately will return and can’t reorder because the size smaller is out.

I always wear a 35 in Birkenstock and also in Birki's; I have a pair of 36 I bought when unable to get a 35 and they have always felt too large. This pair of 35s had that same feeling although they were plainly marked as 35. However, the original box had been damaged in an earlier shipping and they were in a sturdy cardboard box but it was also damaged in shipping in an outer plastic bag wrapper. Perhaps they were somehow damaged inside but they actually looked just fine.

I wish the soul was cork as a little more forgiving than formed soul but all removable and washable which is a plus. Very lightweight shoe. Helping my planter’s Fasciitis. Also my big toe touched front of shoe until I broke it in which was annoying. Take a few weeks to really break in.

Absolutely love these shoes for work. The insoles do eventually give in to stink and are easily replaced. Not as comfortable as the cork unfortunately.

Great looking shoes that didnt run big for me at all. Super comfortable but do take a minute to get used to.

My second time buying this shoe. Not the most esthetically pleasing, but they are my hospital work shoes. they are very comfortable and I can easily wipe them down throw them in the sink to clean the shoes.
