These are the most miserable things I’ve ever put on my feet. I literally walked 20 feet down the hallway, and had to take them off.

Miserable. They are stiff, uncomfortable and being returned.

Feel like you're dragging a sunk canoe on each foot.

The regular width of this shoes is way too big!!! I received a ruin shoe box in a plastic bag and the shoes are dirty. Thanks Zappos for easy return policy.

For large-volume (fat). My boney feet walked right out of these. They are built like wooden shoes, only rubber. Probably great for standing; not walking.

Fit was accurate but they were too heavy and flopped on my foot when I walked, definitely couldn't run in these. Returned. Guess I'll keep searching for work shoes that I can clean off.

I wore these 30 years ago working in the hospital. So I decided to order a new pair. These seem different. The foot bed is sliding inside the shoe. Due to this, my right foot has been in pain since I wore them.

This is the same true to size length as all Birkenstock’s. I ordered smaller based on reviews and it was too short. However, it is wide and very deep on my flat feet. With each step the shoes fell off even as I tried to hold onto the toe bar.

These are huge and wide!! I ordered the correct size, lengthwise they fit but they were so huge and wide and clunky that I couldn’t even walk without them falling off!!!! Way to wide. These might work if I was wearing 3 pairs of socks. But not gonna do that in the summer. So disappointed. Returning

These shoes are terrible. I feel like they feel and look like wooden clog shoes. They’re super wide and very big. I also had my mom try them on who’s foot is a size bigger than mine and were even too big on her.

zappos sent me a very obvious used pair of shoes, with black marks on the sole and worn out rubber on the bottom of the shoes. Other than that, they were comfortable. just buy a halfsize smaller than usual, they run a little big. i will be returning these used ones and hopefully get the new pair that i paid for.

Bulky, not secure, too big

After reading many reviews I felt prepared for them feeling "big" and was assured that they would be my favorite work shoe. Sadly, although being the correct size, they are too big for my comfort. After giving them 3 days at work, I wish I would have trusted my instinct and just returned them. Expensive mistake on my part.

I usually wear a 40 but I ordered a 39 & a 40 just to be sure I would get something that fit. Boy was I wrong. The 39 felt 2 sizes too big and the 40 was HUGE.

I’m a nurse and I was hoping to replace my danskos with these as I love my birkenstock sandals. I got the same size as my sandals and when they arrived I felt like I had my boyfriend’s shoes on, they were huge! They are seemes like they were missing a sole insert, there was no arch support and just raised writing on the base which I imagine would be very irritating if I were to wear these to work for 12+hrs. Very disappointed, back to Danskos for me.

The "regular" width was like putting my foot in a rowboat. Way too wide. I am usually a medium. I will try to find the narrow/medium width and see if it works better. Unfortunately, though Zappos says the N/M width should fit medium feet, it doesn't offer it. Apparently "regular" is more like very wide.

If you want an ugly shoe buy a Crock. If you want a plastic shoe buy a Crock. This has nothing like the feel of a Birkenstock which is stiff but these remind me of the Dutch wooden shoes. They also didn't support my heel lift which has to be put under the existing inside padding of any shoe. Perhaps it would support a full orthotic. My heel life fits only under the heel.

I'm sorry to say that these Birks were the MOST uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn! I am a huge fan of Birkenstocks and have had many pair since I started wearing them in the 70's. I am a chef and spoke to someone who'd gotten these and had to put a different insole in but then loved them. I got a new insole, and still they were extremely stiff and it was work to try to hold them on my feet, the original insole rubbed on my toes. I would recommend not buying them.

Ordered my usual size in Birkenstock 39 but they were huge on me. Exchanged for 38 and they were too tight. Also these don't have the under toe bump like Birkenstick sandals which I really need, so had to return.

I am so sad to give these this review because I have been a die hard Birkenstock fan forever. But these were just awful. They felt at lest a full size or more larger than any 39 I have ever tried in my life (even wearing two pairs of boot socks they were too big), and I do understand that this type of clog like shoe is supposed to be a little large. They are solid plastic and naturally do not breath so perspiration remains next to your skin and after a 12 hour day on my feet working it was very uncomfortable, which is so unlike Birkenstock as their other shoes are wonderful. I had bad blistering around the heel/ankle and my feet were very fatigued when the day was over. The one really nice thing about them is that the entire insole could be removed and if the plastic outer needed it could be easily washed off as it is totally waterproof.
