Very comfortable sneaker, I wear them around town or when walking the dog. Because of the limited arch support I wouldn't recommend them for running or any sport where your feet might take a pounding. In my opinion I think they run large compared to other shoes and sneakers I've purchased. I wear a mens size 8 and ordered a 7 1/2 and I probably could've fit into a size 7. Overall you can't beat the price and the quality is good.

Very awesome shoe, definitely a better pick over Converse. Incredibly comfortable, durable, and stylish as well. It's well worth the buy!

For me personally it's not the product itself that keeps me continually coming back to Zappos as much as the prompt, professional service I receive each and every time I use Zappos. In my opinion the Zappos system just works the way it's intended to be. Do yourself a favor and let the Zappos experience work for you too! Thanks Zappos.

I wanted this shoe to lift weights in because it's flat sole. Originally I ordered the camo design but their 15 runs bigger so upon return I chose the all black in the 14 and fit great. Also shipping both ways was completely free. I wouldn't recommend this shoe for the basketball court or any type of jogging/running since we have much more comfortable designs now days but I love wearing them in the gym. When these start getting wore I will for sure be coming back to Zappos to order another pair of PF flyers.

I ordered these for my 7 year old who toe walks because I heard high tops help minimize the behavior. We love the shoes - they are so cute and have a built in arch support. They are easy to clean, he doesn't toe walk in them and they look great with athletic clothes, jeans and khakis. He gets lots of compliments. I will buy another pair when he grows out of these. The only negative is that the toe is very rigid and it is hard to tell how the fit is but he loves them. They are cooler than Converse and have lots of support.

PF Flyers' Center Hi has to be the best sneaker I have ever owned! They're comfortable, good-lookin', and they make you "run faster, jump higher." So buy a pair and get them dirty. They look better that way.

Two parts to this review. 1. The actual shoe 2. VIPZappos customer service The shoe: I had wanted this shoe, the high top, but my size was not available. I waited and waited for an email to inform me when they had my size, but I got impatient and ordered the same shoe, but in the low rise version. Upon arrival, they weren't for me. The heel didn't seem to come up high enough and with each step my ankle socks traveled downward. Very uncomfortable. Wouldn't you know, the hi top version became available, so I sent the original lo rise back immediately and made an even exchange. I've worn them twice...I'm on and off my feet all day working in an elementary school....and they were great right out of the box. Love the arch support. Not super thick, but good enough. I hope they last longer than what a few other reviewers have experienced. Customer service: I don't know if it's because I'm a "VIP", but Zappos service was outstanding. I called just to make sure I had all my ducks in a row for returning the lo rise shoes and told the rep. I wanted to evenly exchange for the hi tops. Same color (Red), same size. She had the shoes sent to me even before they received my return. Now that's great customer service. I got an email to assure me they received my return, so all is well. Thanks Zappos, you have a happy, loyal customer in me if you keep doing what you're doing.

I can't believe I almost bought the Converse! Who knew they were still making PF Flyers? "Run faster, jump higher" - these were the only shoes I'd let my parents buy me 50 years ago (man I'm old) and they're still the best. The fit, arch support and overall look are hands down better than Converse or others. I'm buying extra pairs to have on hand.

These are very cute sneakers. They are not as narrow around the toes as Converses, so they are more comfortable as you move. But I am a size 6 and had to go with the 5½ women's because the shoes run big.

PF Flyers the run faster jump higher sneakers. You have to have a pair of these classic high tops, super super comfortable insole, great fit and styling. Removable insole is a plus! move over Chucks.

These are awesome. I've been a Converse guy my entire life, but figured I'd give the PF Flyers a try. I don't think I'll be going back. These run more true to non-Converse size - e.g. I'm a 10 in Converse, 10.5-11 everything else, these are a 10.5 and fit great.

I LOVE these! What I love the most is that they do have arch support unlike the ones from Converse. I also like the price much better.

The Beaver, Opie on the Andy Griffith show, they wore PF Flyers. If you are thinking about going "old school" these are the shoes you want. I have Converse Chuck Taylors, and I also have Pro-Keds, the PF Flyers are more comfortable than both and come in many more colors. They are so cool that my 13 year old wears them to school most days. He says the arch feels great compared to shoes that cost more!

These kicks are way better then converse. If it's your first time ordering I'd get a half size smaller then your actual shoe size. Just because they will stretch as they start to mold. Overall it's an awesome shoe!

Bought these for my daughter to wear to school. They have some padding in sole and arch support and are overall much more cute-looking than Converse. The hi canvas around the ankle did take a day or two to wear in and conform to her foot shape but didn't rub any blisters. The sizing is also true to size unlike Converse.

I love my PF Flyers! All my friends have complimented me on them as well. Very well constructed, and hip. I did have to send my original order back, and order a half size smaller, FYI, maybe due to unisex style. Not a problem with free shipping both ways!

I had tried these Center Hi Flyers a few years ago but because I had worn Chucks before, I thought that I needed to buy a size smaller. That was not the case at all. This time I ordered the correct size and they fit perfectly right out of the box. I have pretty high arches and have been wearing these for three days straight, they are very comfortable indeed! They provide much more support than Chucks. Now I am trying to decide what other colors to buy, maybe even buying another all black second pair for the future. I highly recommend these!

This shoes are awesome. The red isn't like a cartoon bright red, but still red. They feel great, super comfy. PF Flyers are a better shoe that Converse Chuck Taylors.

These shoes are the essence of cool. Yet some reviews say they run big so order a half to a full size down DON'T! I followed this advice and found mine a little snug, but I can live with it. You'll love the PF flyers, just be sure to order your normal shoe size, as they DO run true to size.

I love them. They're comfortable. They fit right. I think these are a great deal and stylish, too.

I normally wear a woman's 10 or 41; I take a 9.5 in these shoes, and they are wonderfully comfortable with no break-in period required. Yippee!
