I'm loving these shoes right now. They're a perfect fit, once I loosened the front laces. They seem more durable than the Converse and I'm hoping that they will last longer than the Converse I had before that didn't last more than 6 months.

I bought these a few months ago on impulse. I needed some concert shoes and these seemed perfect. After a Queens of the Stone Age concert, they were pretty dirty, but left unscathed by the numerous people stepping on them and from me jumping around for hours. Two days later came Warped Tour and all I could think was how my Vans let me down the previous year, comfort wise at least. This year, I was prepared with new kicks filled with comfort... and the inevitable dust from two nights before that still has not come out. After 10 hours of standing, jumping, and running stage to stage, my feet were still in heaven. Even after five months of landscaping, concerts, gigs, and every day wear. They still do not exhibit any major signs of wear. All in all I will probably buy a few more pairs. Maybe I will go for the low-tops next time. I highly recommend these. Also, if you have big feet like I do, a size 13, and stick legs, go with the low tops. The highs tend to have a clown-like effect to them. On top of everything, the front ribbed foxing is great for - well it hurts when force is put behind it.

Alright, for those of you wondering about sizing, I went one size up from what I wear in Chuck Taylors and it was a perfect fit. I tried just a half size up the first time and had to send those back. As always, the customer service at Zappos is the best. These shoes are a little chunkier than chucks but they seem to be more comfortable. I'm really digging this shoe and may not go back to Chuck Taylors.

So, I've always been a fan of the old-fashioned sports hi-tops. So when I found these, I was overjoyed. I asked around my friends to see if anyone had owned a pair before. One said yes, and that he wore them for 2 or 3 years before outgrowing them. I was sold. When they came in after ordering, (which only took half the time the shipping tracker said)I was hooked. There's loads of room, but without being loose or too big (I have tall feet). AND the insole is removable, which is good for me because I wear special insoles for my arches. The comfort factor is top-notch. With all the eyelets, I can tie them as loose, or as tight I want, for a custom fit every time. All in all, I will be buying many more pairs to come. This is my ultimate go-to shoe.

Very comfy shoe. I am 45 years old and don't feel out if place wearing them. Who cares what the youngsters think anyway! These do not have that felt bottom covering the rubber sole like the Chuck Taylor All Stars have. The felt/fabric covering is an import tax loophole manufactures are using now to pay less import fees. I'm glad PF Flyers do not have that. I hate the felt covering. So long Chucks!

Sometimes there are retailors that "seem" as though they care and then there is Zappos! Three purchases totaling 18 pairs of shoes for my children and with each transaction there was the need for exchanges and every one of the representatives went above and beyond to replace and accept my exchanges in the most personable and professional manner. They are the real deal! Thank you so much!

It's been many years since I've worn hi-tops. When I saw these I just had to get them. I'm so glad that I did. They are well made and fit true to size. I've had many inquiries and complements on them. I will get some in other colors because they look great.

I ordered these and the Converse Hi-Tops at the same time and comparing them side by side, the PFs were far superior in comfort and overall construction. I needed to order half a size larger because they were a bit snug. The only negative is that the platform is a little thick to me and I trip up sometimes, but I'll get used to them.

These shoes are cheap, comfortable, and last a long time. I use these for work and I love them. Maybe a little narrow for some.

These shoes are gorgeous and I love them! They're bad**s.. I loved The Sandlot, so when I saw these I had to have them. My only tiny complaint is there isn't enough airflow running through these babies. Maybe it's just me (I am a bit sweatier than most). Overall, this is a great shoe for us nostalgic folk. It's also cool because you won't see many people with your shoes on which is so refreshing.

I bought these for myself and they are extremely comfortable. Then my son wanted a pair when he saw the cushion on the inside of the shoe. We both love our shoes.

I wore PF Flyers as a kid in the '60s. I just love these! The red is vibrant and unlike other name brand shoes similar to these, PF Flyers are extremely comfortable. The extra insole cushion is awesome! Buy these! You will love them too!

I have been wearing Converse "All Stars" all of my life; at least all of the life I can recall. I have loved those simple, great looking, and comfortable shoes and have just stuck with them. I recently changed and purchased a pair of P.F. Flyer's from Zappos.com. These shoes look very similar to the "All Stars"; the same style, but they also have their own personality as well. These are very, very comfortable, and seemingly well put together and durable. I am sold on the product but Zappos.com as well; a very positive experience indeed and I fully intend on coming back for more. You guys carry it all and do it very well. Thank you.

If they made Chucks the same way they made these, that would be really awesome! These are so comfortable! They have insoles in them so I can wear them all day long, unlike Chucks where after 5 hours my feet start hurting. They are made so much better than Chucks as well: heavier, thicker canvas, and I love the rubber accent button thing! Chucks have like an iron-on star now that looks cheap. I don't mean to bash Chucks, I do love them, but these are so awesome.

These were great right out of the box - no "breaking in" period necessary! I am of a size that tests the structural integrity of my shoes, and have no complaints about these shoes. The red was purchased for an event and they will be comfortable for a long day of walking.

My husband and I both bought a pair. He bought the beige, and I bought navy. I love them! I feel like one of the cool kids...HA! When we were kids, this was about all there were beside deck shoes (Keds).

After owning Converse for years, I'm no longer going to wear them as the PF Flyers are so much more comfortable. Another thing I've noticed is that people ask me about my PF Flyers because they want to know what kind of shoe they are. Never got that wearing Converse. My new favorite shoes!

I love the PF Flyers! If you like Converse you will love these. PF Flyers are way more comfortable than the original Converse. I wore Converse most of my youth and now that I am older I need something I can walk on for long periods of time and not hurt my back.

Very comfortable sneaker, I wear them around town or when walking the dog. Because of the limited arch support I wouldn't recommend them for running or any sport where your feet might take a pounding. In my opinion I think they run large compared to other shoes and sneakers I've purchased. I wear a mens size 8 and ordered a 7 1/2 and I probably could've fit into a size 7. Overall you can't beat the price and the quality is good.

Very awesome shoe, definitely a better pick over Converse. Incredibly comfortable, durable, and stylish as well. It's well worth the buy!

For me personally it's not the product itself that keeps me continually coming back to Zappos as much as the prompt, professional service I receive each and every time I use Zappos. In my opinion the Zappos system just works the way it's intended to be. Do yourself a favor and let the Zappos experience work for you too! Thanks Zappos.

I wanted this shoe to lift weights in because it's flat sole. Originally I ordered the camo design but their 15 runs bigger so upon return I chose the all black in the 14 and fit great. Also shipping both ways was completely free. I wouldn't recommend this shoe for the basketball court or any type of jogging/running since we have much more comfortable designs now days but I love wearing them in the gym. When these start getting wore I will for sure be coming back to Zappos to order another pair of PF flyers.

I ordered these for my 7 year old who toe walks because I heard high tops help minimize the behavior. We love the shoes - they are so cute and have a built in arch support. They are easy to clean, he doesn't toe walk in them and they look great with athletic clothes, jeans and khakis. He gets lots of compliments. I will buy another pair when he grows out of these. The only negative is that the toe is very rigid and it is hard to tell how the fit is but he loves them. They are cooler than Converse and have lots of support.
