Return to the days of youth -
They're just as I remember them. They generate a lot of positive comments when I wear them.

Great experience, great shoes!
My son was so happy with his PF Flyers. He loves them and they are so comfortable. I was so happy for how quickly they were delivered! I can't wait to purchase my next pair of shoes from Zappos!

Amazing. I love these shoes. They are so tight and no one really wears them. They're really comfortable and I’m pretty sure I'm going to be buying another pair soon! And Zappos is so great to work with, YEAH!

Helps outrun Saint Bernards, steal multiple bases -
Just like Mr. Rodriguez alleged in The Sandlot, the PF Flyer is that of mythic proportions. It WILL help you jump higher, run faster, and hit harder than anyone else.
On a more serious note, the shoes are far more comfortable that Chucks, as these have much better arch support. Very comfortable shoe.

Great buy -
I purchased these shoes for my daughter-in- law and she loves them. The fit was perfect, and they look great. We received the order much faster than we thought. A great way to shop!

My son likes these!
Very picky 18 year old likes these sneakers. No complaints so far. Tends not to tie the laces, but can't fault the shoes for that.

I love my PF Flyers! I bought the red shoes and wear them with my jeans all the time. I've actually had people ask me "are those PF Flyers?" and then tell me about wearing them as a kid. Newer models may offer more support but sometimes a girl just has to go with fashion!

PF Flyers Center-Hi Reissue -
Great alternative to Chuck Taylors - a bit more stylish and retro, as well as being fairly comfortable. These seem to run a little small, so do order a half size larger than your normal shoe size for best fit.

Great Great Great!
I just bought myself the Sandlot Hightop Re-Issue. They are the comfiest shoe I've ever bought, and they are great!
I was a little worried after reading people saying they run smaller than advertised. They fit like a glove for me. It was great going into class today, I got 3 comments asking if those were the shoes from Sandlot and they were all excited to see them. I will make all y purchases with Zappos from now on for shoes; in fact I think I’m going to buy these in red now as well.

My son loves PF Flyers -
My two sons have loved PF flyer since they got their first pairs in North Carolina 2 years ago. They like them better than converse. My youngest son favorite color is red and it's very difficult to find men's shoes in red.

Happy Girl!
I purchased these shoes for my daughter who really wanted PF Flyers. She loves them; they have an arch and are comfortable. All her friends are now getting them.

Awesome Shoe -
I got the Black on Black sandlot versions. Haven’t taken them off since I got them. Much sturdier than converse.

Great feeling play shoe!
I am a grandmommy and I enjoy playing with my grandchildren. I really needed (wanted) a pair of red high top sneakers. I had tried on several name brands, which incidentally cost more, but they were not comfortable because they had NO ARCH support. My PF Flyers feel great! I can wear them all day and my feet are still happy!

Great hi tops -
I find these a lot more comfortable than Converse, mostly because of the arch support and a thicker sole. If you're switching from Converse, though, make sure you order a full size larger (Converse 8 equals PF Flyer 9).
For lo tops, I prefer Converse. PF Flyers lo-tops are cut quite low around the instep and so always feel like they're coming off.

PF Flyers: Still Great After All These Years -
My son was wearing converse for a couple years. There is little support in the shoe. PF Flyers have support and look as good. Also, they come in some great fabrics. My 15 year old has the tweed, leather and canvas versions of PF Flyers.

Pleasantly surprised!
I ordered these and was worried they would not fit due to a great percentage of user reviews saying they did not fit "true to size". I ordered the size I have always worn and they ended up fitting me perfectly! The arch support is incredibly comfortable and I also like that they have an extra grommet for the laces vs. chucks. My only complaint is that the white rubber tip located in front of the shoe pushes down on the toes making it somewhat uncomfortable when you sit down. I barely got these today, so maybe they need breaking in.

Sweetest hightops ever -
I bought a pair of these in 2002 and they just now got to the point where I needed to replace them. These shoes are comfortable, retro, they break-in really well, and last a long time. I've never owned Converse high-tops and as long as these are still available, I never will.

Great shoe!
Being an avid fan of 'The Sandlot", I HAD to get a pair. They look great, feel great, and have a rich history to them. It has a good, beat up look, but stays strong. The only set back is the bumpy front part of the shoe, which I really like, wears out after a while. This is much better than any other Chuck Taylor hi top or all black shoe. 10 out of 10.

Move over, Chuck -
Back in the 50's, only the rich kids could get their parents to spring for the $5.95 for a pair of Chucks, and hightops across the board were priced even cheaper than lowtops because the wearer was agreeing to advertise the brand with the rubber disc on the side. With converse, even the disc used to be genuine rubber, but lately more plastic has crept into the manufacturing, and this plasticated rubber is not so soft and flexible and comfortable and it never takes on the yellowish patina of aging like the all-rubber sneakers. The PF's are all genuine rubber with good sticky soles that do not slip on water like the latest Converse do. The look is genuine retro. I feel like a schoolboy again, with all the freedom we did not enjoy in Buster Brown's. The disc being "on the wrong side" is a deserved slap in the face to the market leader of regimented conformity. I like displaying my individuality. I would like the PF better if I could cinch up the lacing better at the top, so that the ankle would fit more snugly. The other PF's I got, the Grounder, have the same problem. I'm still gonna wear em to the rodeo. I saw Ian Wright wearing peanut color PF Center hightops on the Turks and Caicos episode of Globe Trekker, and I strongly approve of this embedded advertising. I personally like the glaring contrasst of the black canvas with the stark-white rubber, and the way the white ages to become more the color of my new natural color PF Grounders. You could try marketing the black Center with rubber foxing tape and toecap that are already off-white, tannish in color, because some boomers like sneakers better if they do not look brand new! There are many variations and makers of this the single most classic style of sneaker across the planet, and I like it when people have to ask me what kind mine are and where can I get them! Many college kids were never allowed by their parents to wear this kind in high school, and these are the first ones they put on when they come to college, away from home.

Great Shoes -
The PF Flyers are great shoes. They are very comfortable and durable. They are easily confused with Chuck Taylor hi-tops, however, the PF Flyers have a distinct style all their own. The sole of the shoe actually has support and is very comfortable on the foot; unlike Chuck Taylors which have no support. If you are looking for great shoes go with these or Chuck Taylors.
