Customer Reviews PF Flyers Center Hi Re-Issue

Ordered yesterday and received this morning. They arrived super fast. This was my first PF Flyers purchase, but the reviews were so good so I had to give them a chance. Gray is my favorite color, so that helped too. I have many Converse high and low tops and don't wear them because they actually are poorly constructed, limp, no insole, and they are a "fashion only"and "look good" tennis shoe, in my opinion. I wore these today and they looked and felt great on my feet, the insole was cushioned adequately. Not "over the top,"but just right for my feet. I love them and they will not sit in the closet like my Converses have done. I'll wear these. I wish I had discovered this brand sooner. It would have saved me a lot of money. Thank you Zappos for your great service and variety of quality footwear, and thank you to whoever came up with the idea of PF Flyers. I highly recommend these shoes 100% and love them so much that I want another color. Ten stars if you offered that rating. Buy this shoe; you will love them for comfort and looks.

We got the shoes quickly and were pleased with the quality. The size, color, etc. was all according to what we ordered. We were happy with the whole process!

When I bought these PF Flyers, I was searching for a substitute for Converse All-Stars. I'd been wearing Converse since high school, and was really pleased with the style and fit, but it seemed like each pair I bought was more shoddily constructed, and they'd quickly develop holes and fall apart. By contrast, the PF Flyers are sturdy and comfortable, and have held up really well to continuous wear since I bought them. They've got the same look as my old Converse but seem much more solidly constructed. I'm pretty pleased!

Don't expect to quietly sneak up on anyone from the back in these noisy PF sneakers because they will hear you squishing and sloshing up on them from a few feet away. Aside from this, PF Flyers are the coolest looking high tops I've ever had, love the colors. The fit is wide enough to fit my bunion feet. They are heavy rubber sneakers and get heavier with each mile you walk (so keep your cushy air sneakers for the long hauls). The PF Flyers are made for styling in.

I\'m a loyal fan to Converse Chuck Taylors, but I thought I\'d give PF Flyers a try, and I\'m very happy with my purchase! Good fit, good cushioning, great shoe!

These shoe's are perfect and Zappos does an excellent job in providing outstanding customer service! The size chart is very helpful and easy to use. these shoe's are great buy for any fan and are surprisingly much more comfortable then i expected. Zappos delivered them the day bought them and then I received them less then 4 day's later and haven't stopped wearing them since!

This sneaker runs small size wise. I always have taken a size 8 but had to return the size 8. I ordered in this shoe for a size 8.5. The service is the best with this company. Highly recommended!

These sneakers are awesome. They are well made and have excellent materials. I have a pair of low cut PF Flyers, which take a little breaking in but the high tops fit like a glove right out of the box. Some customers have complained about the squeaking sound but if you wear a thick sock with them they are okay. I wish they would put the logo on the inside of the ankle but that is the only draw back. Great shoes.

I haven't had a pair of PF Flyers since I was a kid. The fit was perfect. They were just like I remembered them. I think I can actually run faster and jump higher! Total satisfaction with the Zappos experience. First time and future long time customer.

These shoes rock. They're much better than Converse All Stars because they have replaceable insoles. Besides, everyone wears Chucks. I didn't find them to be small. I wear a size 9 street shoe and a 9.5 running shoe, but I needed a size 10 in these babies.

I bought these shoes out of nostalgia for the Sandlot, who didn't want to be Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez? While I was immediately enamored with how wonderfully they looked with jeans, I was taken aback by how comfortable they were. As a winemaker in California I am often on my feet 15 hours a day and on a variety of surfaces - which kill my feet. One day I decided to wear my PF Flyers to work and haven't looked back. I just bought a second pair to wear at home so I don't have to worry about my work pair. Yes, they occasionally squeak while walking and I would also recommend a half size larger - but the comfortable insoles far surpass any of the Converse All-Stars I've worn over the years.

Love these shoes. 2nd pair I\'ve owned. Have the natural\/cream colored ones too. Love that they\'re a bit different from the usual Chucks. Comfortable, easy, fantastic.

These are great! I didn't know they still made PF Flyers until I stumbled across them on Zappos, (which, by the way, is the only place I buy shoes anymore.) They fit well; have the great arch support, and have that super-sweet retro look. I've had a lot of people (some I don't even know) look at them, and then look again, and then ask, "Are those real PF Flyers?!" The only way that they could improve on these would be to include the signal ring that they advertised with them on Johnny Quest years ago.

I bought a pair for my son and liked them so much that I bought a second pair for me. I just wish every internet transaction would go this smoothly. Zappos goes the extra mile without being asked

These shoes had to be broken in, but after a few times of wearing them they fit like a glove. I usually order a half-size up at a 10.5 due to thick, wide feet. But like a half-size Chuck\'s these size 10\'s fit snuggly, and are more comfy than Chucks. The only thing is I had to figure out another way of walking, because my heels inside the shoe make a f@rting type noise as I walk. Other than that, I may order more colors to add to my collection of two PF Flyers so far. Natural White, and Bleach White so far. It\'s a shame that I only have two feet and can only wear one pair at time, but oh well.

Awesome shoes! I gotta say, way better than Converse. That’s all I used to wear, but the soles in the Flyers are ten times better. I got them and I wear them from when I leave the house in the morning until I go to bed at night. The only bad part is that they run about a half size big. So order a half size smaller than you usually do. But I still love these shoes. I’m gonna keep on buying them.

I bought these for my 18 year old son and surprised him at Christmas with these. He was overjoyed and really loves them. They seem to run a bit bigger than his usual running style sneakers, so we ended up going down half a size. He says there is not as much cushioning as running shoes, as you would expect, but still very comfortable. They look great with jeans.

I bought these shoes for my daughter who is a big fan of Sandlot. She loved them! They fit well, and they are very high school cool.

I really felt like Benny "the jet" when I first stepped into these shoes. The arch support is great and they are very comfy for everyday wear. Anyone who complains about Converse should switch to PF Flyers; they really are not the same shoe. They have so much more support and comfort.

Great shoes! I wear these shoes and people compliment me and also ask me wear I got them. Very stylish and comfortable.

Love these sneaks. I needed some everyday shoes that were both cute and functional; these are incredibly comfortable with lots of support. More so than Converse I would say, plus they are a little funky and different from the usual. Highly recommended.

I love my PF Flyers to run faster and jump higher. They are true to size and have more support than my Chuck Taylor shoes.

My 15 year old son was a Converse devotee. Once he realized these were available, he asked for them. He says they are warmer than Converse (good for those who don\'t like to wear boots) and that he runs better in them because of the increased support in the sole. They are also a little snugger around his foot than Converse, which he also likes. I got him size 10.5 because he was just getting to the end of a size 10, and the size seems very good for him with room to grow. We all think they really look great, also.

Purchased the PF Flyers for nostalgia, but when I received them it was more than I expected or remembered. Couldn't believe or remember how light they were. A very comfortable shoe and I really like how they look. As long as they make them I'll keep buying them. I can say that I've tamed that beast. "You're killing me Smalls" (The Sandlot).
