Because I have a bunion problem I need a wider toe box, but I have narrow heels. I paid strict attention to reviews and the product info. It said the shoe runs medium to wide and some reviews spoke of being able to wear thick socks, so I ordered my usual Naot size 39. I found the boot to fit snugly, too snugly for my thick Thorlo socks. But with thinner socks it is fine. Still snug, but in a good way, almost slipper like, that comfortable. Leather's so soft I wore them the rest of the day. If you have a narrow foot, you just might be able to wear your thick socks. If medium to wide, don't count on it. Still these do run a bit wide, and they are so soft, they mold to your feet. I'm happy!

I bought these unique boots because they look like yoga, dance, movement, nature - definitely for someone who "speaks" with their feet as I do. I'm a dancer/teacher and am on my feet all day long. These Oyster boots comfort my feet, but are trim and light. The "steel" color leather isn't exactly silver, it's kind of a steel/blue mix, a little shiny sparkle in it. I have one pair of Naot sandals that are very comfortable so I thought I'd take a chance on these boots. Naots are consistent. They're all going to feel great! My hat's off to Naot - I'm keeping my boots on!

These are the best boots I have ever purchased. This is my second pair. From the first time I put them on, I loved them! They are very comfortable and I wear them all day! The reason I bought another pair was so I would have one more pair for next winter. I would definitely recommend them. My shoes are almost exclusively Naot!

I wear these as often as I can in fall/winter. They give me great arch support. I have flat feet and usually have to wear extra arch supports, but not in these. They feel like they were custom made for my feet!

Fit perfectly - I have a medium wide foot except for the heel. Love the arch and cushioning. The height of the boot is great and the soft leather doesn't dig in to my shin, like other low boots. I just got a second pair!

LOVE the boots. Super comfortable, super cute. Specifically, the arch support is amazing; feels like I could walk all day. Only 2 issues: 1) it suggests you treat it for waterproofing... for the price, I would want Naot to do that, not ask the customers to, 2) I find it to be loose in the heel, not so much as to be uncomfortable, but enough that my socks keep sliding down. But overall, I highly recommend these boots.

Great, stylish and COMFORTABLE boots. Expensive, yes. But worth it. Can not wear thick socks with these as they are too snug with them. But are otherwise a true-to-size fit.

Super comfortable casual boot molded to my foot as if it were created just for me. I can stand in this boot all day without my feet hurting. Love the purple leather, as well!

I LOVE these shoes! They were a little tight across the top of my foot when I wore them the first few times but they stretched just enough to fit my foot perfectly. I've worn them in snow and yucky Indiana weather and they still look and feel great. They are my new favorite shoes!

These shoes are even better than I imagined. They are very comfortable and easy to wear with skirts or pants. I love the design and the combination of suede and leather. Very nice. This is the first time I've purchased NAOT and it won't be the last.

These are comfortable out of the box. I ordered the toffee in a 42 and the violet in a 41. The 41 fit. I was happy that there is enough room in the toes but my heel didn't move. I typically order both a 41 and 42 in this brand because each style fits differently. The violet is subdued and pretty. I have 4 pairs of shoes in this brand and like all of them. I have long, narrow, low volume feet so Born, Dankso and Keen are all too wide, too much shoe.

These boots are the most comfortable things I ever put on my feet, and stylish? Pshhh, so cool. They're perfect with skinny jeans. Buy these boots.

First of all, I was looking for a nice looking black pant boot with a set of characteristics that are strangely hard to find: excellent arch support and/or removable insoles; weather-proof; low-heeled to permit walking long distances; roomy toe box to avoid blisters; and an appearance attractive and versatile enough to wear for casual, business, and slightly dressier occasions. I'd looked at the Naot Oyster many times online, and finally ordered it, fully expecting to have to send it back: I was worried that the silhouette would be too outdoorsy for versatility, that the designs on the sides might look too busy for understated outfits, or that it would fail the all-important arch support test. I'm a tough critic, and the price tag made me even tougher. Nevertheless, the Naot Oyster won me over in about two minutes flat. It is incredibly comfortable. These are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, even more comfortable than my low-heeled Dansko boots, because the Danskos have such hard leather that I can get blisters if I walk a long way. In these Naots I feel I could walk 10 miles at a stretch on city streets and my feet would feel as great at the end as the beginning. The arch support is fantastic and the insoles are removable so orthotics can be used for additional support. The look of the boots is also satisfyingly versatile. The use of black suede makes them suitable for business and slightly dressier wear, and the designs on the sides, at least in the black version, add a touch of interest without undermining the effect of a pantsuit. I've worn them practically nonstop, and they are supremely comfortable, especially with socks, and so weatherproof that they still look that they just came right out of the box. I plan to take these boots on a trip to Asia this winter, and I am certain they will be perfect (and easy to get off and on when going through airport security). These boots cost a lot, but in my judgment they are worth every penny!

I love this boot in particular and Naots in general. The info online said this model tended to run narrow, but I did not find it to be the case. They look great, are very comfortable, and did not require breaking in. Aside from padding around the house in them, I wore them for the first time on an all day shopping trip. No problem.

I love these boots. They are super comfy and really cute. The only problem I have is that they are a little big on me and I ordered my regular size. I normally wear an 8-8 1/2 and got these in a 39, but they are a little big. I just wear thick socks because I love them so much, but be careful.

No more toe cramps, Yeah! Such a comfy boot with plenty of room for the toes. I have gone straight from my summer Teva sandals into these, without any complaints from my otherwise hard to please feet. Wish Naot would make them in all leather!

These boots look great with yoga pants and feel really good. I saved money purchasing them from Zappos; the wait was not too bad. Thank you.

Comfortable boots! These are incredibly comfortable boots. I wore them all day today and didn't want to take them off in the evening! I do wear them with my orthotics, so that makes a difference, but the insert that comes with the shoe also seems to be very comfortable. One important thing to note is that the shoe feels about a half size larger than marked. I wear a size 8 shoe and ordered the 38 and 39. The 38 was too small so I sent it back. I kept the 39, even though it is a little too big. I'll wear them with thick socks as the weather gets colder so it shouldn't be a problem.

Excellent quality and style. I wear an 8 or an 8.5 in boots. I ordered the 8 based on other reviewer's comments and they fit, but I have to wear lightweight trouser socks (which is fine, but if you normally wear thick socks with boots, be aware). The Zappos photo makes them look wider than they actually are in person. The boots are quite comfortable with minimal break in time (took me a day and a half with some rubbing on my insteps, but they are great now). I adore the look and have gotten compliments already, having had them only a few days. Will be buying more of this brand in the future!

Comfort extraordinaire! If you have to do a lot of walking or stay in your shoes all day and can't wear an athletic shoe and need to look nice, these are for you. They rock! They are really cute and super comfortable too! Love 'em.
