Zappos is great! I love them. My shoes always come quickly and have always been comfortable. I buy a lot of Naot's shoes and the Oyster (peacock color) boots have been comfortable and good looking. I bought an 8 size while I usually wear a 7 and 1/2. But the 8 works well especially with socks in the winter. I use oxblood shoe polish to buff up scuffs and it seems to work well. They have a little bit of an 'elf' look or resemble old time Japanese fishermen shoes. They rock!

I love these boots. They are extremely comfortably, soft, caress the feet, yet have excellent support and great toe wiggle room. And they look good on. I get tons of compliments. Get a pair. The size was true to fit.

The Naot is very comfortable and stylish. I receive many compliments when I wear the boots. Some ankle boots hit my foot in the wrong place, but these are perfect. I highly recommend this brand and style.

Love the boot. Feels really comfortable. Some of the reviews said to order up a size -- which isn't what I need. I'm returning it for my "regular" size. Very comfortable, though.

These are the best boots I have ever had. I don't want to take them off. Lots of compliments. The violet/peacock color is purple without shouting--more like a plum. And just gorgeous. These fit me a bit better than the shorter style with the swirl. I usually wear 8.5 and the 9 was just right in these, but not quite right with the shorter style. I LOVE THESE.

I've had these boots for 2 weeks now and have worn them almost every day. They are very comfortable, true to size, and good for walking. I used a preservation and waterproofing spray because of the suede and not wanting them to stain, so time will tell how well they work. They are not as easy to slip on and off, but once they are on, your foot stays in place and within minutes you forget you are wearing them. I am surprised that my feet don't get hot so have been wearing them indoors as much as outdoors. I think that they are less chunky in person than they appear in the picture on the website.

This shoe fit perfectly. I ordered a 40, which normally I wear a size 10 shoe because of the length of my feet, the shoe is a bit narrow, but it was long enough that my toes don't feel crammed even with thick winter socks. The color is a nice deep plum and they really fit like a glove. They are so comfortable to walk anywhere for long periods of time and I don't even have to use an insert/orthotic that I do with most shoes. Highly recommend!

I love this boot! It felt like walking on air from the start, although I had a small break-in period for the heel area, about a week, but now the boot fits like a soft glove and I wear it everywhere and all the time. It's super cute and super comfortable and I do a lot of walking in the park with my dogs. I wear a size 8 boot and Euro 39 fits great. You won't regret buying this boot (unless you're worried about the toe scuffing which did come about pretty quickly, but I do a lot of hard walking).

These little ankle boots are great! Naot shoes are handmade and they really understand the foot! Extremely comfortable out of the box and attractive too! I had to exchange my size tens for an eleven. Highly recommend!

I love these boots. They fit very well, nice and tidily close to the ankle and instep, but very comfortable at the same time. Nothing clunky feeling about them.

I love these shoes! These are the best shoes I have ever had! They are comfortable, have great arch support and they are beautiful! They are expensive but worth every penny! I intend to purchase the only other color you have which is black. Buy them, you'll love them.

Most. Comfortable. Ever. I almost fell into a swoon the second I zipped myself into these boots. The Naot footbed and insole is simply unparalleled. Besides which, they are just really, really sophist-o and cool. Highly recommended! They do feel a teensy bit large, but slightly bulkier socks would fix that.

My cool boots- These boots are so comfortable and so fun to wear... they are not your typical looking boots and seem to draw attention where ever you wear them... Hope you enjoy!

COOL SHOE- Nice shoe- it is spacious if you order your normal size. No pinching or blisters but the foot does swim around inside a bit. It fits like a clog. The footbed and sole feel a lot like Birkenstock. Not spongy or soft but with good support and little or no sweating of the foot. They are comfortable for daily wear and walking but don't run with them on! (Like if your dog pulls you down the street.) You will not get the cushioning you might expect with a sole that thick. I was looking for a shoe that didn't pinch my big toe and this works.

If you plan to wear socks, even a thin pair of socks, it would be best to size up. I wish there were half sizes. I have wide toes and the toebox was just wide enough but when I put on a sock it was just too tight. Also, I have a high instep so it was snug getting them on and zipped. Naot is one of my favorite brands and usually fit well. Sadly these are going back.

I wear between a regular 7 and a wide 7. I wear a 38 in Dansko. However, this 38 Naot was too narrow, and definitely too flat -- don't even think about it if you have a high arch!

I should have gotten these in a size larger, as the reviews recommended. They fit decently but would have been better in 9½ but they only come in full sizes. They are super cushy and padded. They are just a bit too tight for my wide feet with high arches and insteps.

I have suffered from planter fasciitis for the last year and I am on my way to New York City. The only brand I have been able to wear for the past year is Naot,which was recommended by my podiatrist. Though I have shelled out quite a bit of money over the past year in purchasing Naot brand shoes, I knew I needed a boot for Winter, especially living in New England. I was very surprised at the comfort of these boots. But, it must be noted that these boots do run much more narrow than other Naot shoes, especially in the midfoot area, so much so that it feels like it is squeezing my right foot to death. I will keep them because I am so desperate, but the truth is if I did not need them to go on a trip to New York in five days I would probably look for another Naot pair of boots that did not run so narrow in the midfoot.

I love these boots! They are, however, the sort of thing you have to love like a mother. I have not gotten any compliments on them. I think they are so strange that the fashion police have labeled them an item of interest. Still, they are so comfortable and warm that I do not care what anybody thinks. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be that the sole is too stiff and does not bend. In my opinion, we could all use a more flexible sole.

Comfortable but like moccasins - These are a lot flatter than they appear in the photo. In other words, they are much more casual than they first appear. They are almost like moccasins. Comfortable, yes, but not really appropriate for nicer functions. They really flatten out.

Too big in heel. Need half size. 8 okay in toe box but much too wobbly for back of foot.

I wish I could return these but have worn them too much. They are noisy! they squeak so much that it had become tough to wear them.

I ordered these for one reason: the color! It's called violet nubuck/peacock leather, which I thought would be a vibrant bright purplish color. It's more of a very subtle understated eggplant color that could easily pass for brown. The leather detailing on toe box and side swirls has a metallic tinge to it which I love, and this helps bring some of the sparkle and whimsy I'd hoped for. They are super comfortable. Still deciding if I'll keep them or not, but only for color reasons; style and comfort 5 stars.
